I am filing this complaint against 10 fitnessdue to false claims that I owe money for a gym membership that I already paid to cancel.
I paid a cancellation fee to terminate my membership with 10 fitness. I was told this payment would fully close my account and end any further obligations. Despite this, I have been contacted and told I still owe money — which is completely false.
The gym is now trying to collect additional payments and claims I have an active membership, even though I settled my account in full. I have not signed any new agreements or resumed my membership in any way.
This feels like a predatory and deceptive business practice. I have made several attempts to resolve this directly with the gym, but they continue to demand payment and have not provided any valid proof that I owe anything further. They are having Aldous & Associates harass me and bully me into paying something that I did not commit to. As you can see he tried to get me to come back and I ignored it until I asked why he kept charging my card when I said I didn’t want to use services.Business Response

This issue involves a trial membership at a local Golds Gym. This membership was advertised as a trial membership on a month to month basis. The advertised trial membership was initiated on the Golds Gym online website. This was canceled withing the alotted time. I kept getting charged which was disputed with the Golds Gym whom informed me that I had to cancel in person at the local gym- which I did with the manager of the local gym. This was several months ago and the manager even agreed to refund me the last charged amount. Now Im getting a collections text from the above named presumably law firm of ******************************************** Im getting constant text reminders which I believe to be fraudulent and harassment.Business Response

Complaint Regarding Inaccurate Credit Reporting by Aldous & Associates
Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am writing to formally file a complaint against a company identified as Aldous and Associates for inaccurately reporting information to credit bureaus that has negatively affected my credit record.
Nature of the Complaint:
Aldi and Associates is currently reporting an account under my name which I believe is erroneous, unverifiable, and potentially fraudulent. The account amount is $2695.I have no known account or business relationship with this company. Furthermore, I have not received any services from them to validate the existence of this alleged debt.
Despite attempts to resolve the matter through the appropriate credit reporting agencies, the item remains on my credit report. This has resulted in unwarranted damage to my credit score and reputation.
