Peak Payment is a nightmare. I have never experienced anything like this and I have been everywhere. I have sent three emails over the last two months, and I am Active Duty Service Member that has been in over the last couple decades. I sent in paperwork to include orders, drivers license, and even leave forms to this company. I have only received one email saying my request was updated and another that was just completely generic. Yet and still, my account is still active to this day. I attempted to call them multiple times, no answer coupled with a generic answering system. My recommendation, especially if in the military; Do not engage in business practices with a gym that uses this company. It will cost you and prove to be a burden, especially when you have to depart the area in a hurry!

Hello ***** Peak Payment Solutions is a third-party billing and software company for ****************. According to the information provided to Peak Payment Solutions you joined Fit4life on 02/09/2022. Your membership agreement with Fit4life requires you to submit a 60 day notice to Peak Payment Solutions, in writing, in order to cancel your membership after your term has been met. Unless you are cancelling for Military orders, then Fit4life only requires a 30 day written notice with proof. Peak Payment Solutions received your written request, with proof, on January 11, 2023. A Peak Payment Solutions representative responded, that same day, that your cancellation request was being processed per the 30 day notice policy, as required by Fit4Life. That response included that your membership would expire on 03/09/2024 allowing you the time you paid for. Your last payment owed was 02/09/2024 as this payment fell in the 30 day notice time frame that is required. We apologize if this was not explained clearly and hope this resolves any frustration caused. In Good Health,

Peak Payment took over billing for my Gold's Gym and tacked on a $34.99 maintenance fee for equipment that I was never informed about. I was told that this fee was sent into an email, and ****'s Gym told me to speak with Peak about verifying that the email was sent, **** told me to speak to ****'s about the same thing. Neither have verified this to me. They keep referring to my original contract from three years ago, before **** took over. I was never notified of this $34.99 fee, and when I disputed it, they added a $25.00 late fee onto the bill. The customer service is rude and dismissive, and their email services are quick to send bills but slow to respond to complaints. This one of few complaints I have with this company. DO NOT JOIN A GYM THAT USES PEAK PAYMENT SOLUTIONS.

Hello Seth,Peak Payment Solutions is a third-party billing company for *********************************. According to the information provided to Peak by Gold's Gym, the charge of $34.99 is due to your Semi-Annual Enhancement Fee. This fee will be charged twice a year on January 15th and July 15th. An email was sent to all members on 12/15/23 regarding this fee.On page two of your membership with Gold's Gym, it states that the amounts charged or debited to your account *** vary from the amount shown in the Agreement between you and Gold's Gym, due to increases in dues, applicable taxes or other fees and charges. Peak Payment Solutions can not dictate what that fee is put towards. That is decided by *********************************. The people who run this company are the worst type of people. I echo the same issues others have here. I sent them the deed and deed of trust to my new house in another state, and they never acknowledged it, nor cancelled. They want an absurd amount for services not rendered. They also violate SCRA rules in regards to service members, and they particularly prey on them, knowing they can grab a few more payments due to the convoluted cancellation process. This company should really be referred to the Attorney General in their state. I've never dealt with a more inethical entity in my life, and I am not being hyperbolic, they are horrible by every measure and means.

This company had the absolute worst possible **************** I have ever dealt with mainly because there is no direct contact with them! I had been fighting for 6 months to get my membership cancelled and all payments ceased because I transitioned out of the United ******************* and moved ************************************************************************************************************************ more payments. I had to submit a second proof of moving and address in which case I used a verified pay check and that still was not good enough and this resulted in even MORE payments and this time it was yearly cleaning so it was almost 200$! After attempting a third time and threatening the use of the BBB they finally said my account would be closed and membership cancelled but this time using the SAME paycheck they previously rejected. As expected I was still charged for two months after my account was said to be cancelled and all forms of charges would be discontinued.DO NOT use this company by any means. They are absolutely not about their consumers and the feeling of dealing with them is almost fraudulent. You have to go through email only and the process can takes weeks or a month which is long enough for a payment to go through and give them more money. I will never recommend them to anybody I know and will be warning all future customers of there company and the way they work with you.

I moved out of state and could not use the gym. I sent the paperwork showing I had moved and there was no gym within 25 miles. The lady at peak canceled my membership but for February 2024. They are charging me two more months plus I will be charged a cleaning fee in January which isn’t supposed to be applied until July if I was able to keep my membership. They said I will still be charged $34.99 x 2 plus the $69.99 annual cleaning fee. I do not recommend Fit4life with peak payment as their service.

HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTING!!! Same as others... with ******************* (not good either). Knew was moving for job promotion, went into club, tt person at club first few days of August 2023, cancelled mine and wife's contract first week of August. I didn't notice, wife did in September they billed us again (after we had moved to another state). Wife called Peak Solutions, went over all with them. **** sent few emails to wife, back and forth, said all taken care of, paid in full (even though we overpaid one month, not worth hassle, cannot go back into club 16 hours away). I called Zone locally, 2 days in row, left message for manager ***** in *********************** ZONE. No response. Early October wife notices another bill for both of us, took money out, AND YEARLY DUES! Few hundred out of account! We called our bank, put in dispute, wife called Peak again. Once more emails WITH PERSON AT PEAK, SAID ALL SET, ALL CANCELED AND TAKEN CARE OF. 11/1/23 I called local club in ******************* again, no manager, left message 2 days in a row, nothing. So, called: BANK RECOMMENDED CANCELLING CARDS, GETTING ALL NEW ONES AS PEAK WILL PROBABLY BILL AGAIN, THEY HAVE SEEN THEM DO THIS BEFORE. So we did, hassle, re set up all with all our bills, recurring payments, rent, etc. as we had to get new bank cards. 12/14/23 Getting calls again from Peak. Called Peak AGAIN TODAY; PERSON "WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING, SHOWS YOU HAVE AN OVERDUE BALANCE, BUT EXPIRED, NEED TO CALL CLUB, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING". Called Zone AGAIN, left message have manager please call me. 30 min later employee at club calls back, says "person said not us, you have to call Peak!!" You GOTTA BE KIDDING!!! Told person, NO, Peak will not, expect manager to call me. He said will leave note, but he leaves in 30 min, no other manager, no schedule of when manager comes in. HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If local club not fix today, will be worth my time to do small claims court to get fees, etc back.

Their Customer Service correspondence is horrible. They just continue to repeat the same position over and over again in their emails regardless of your point of view. There is no way you can have a discussion with them since their response will always be “we are a third party company and didn’t make the contract.” I was on a month-to-month contract with a 30 day notice to terminate my membership written in the contract. Zone athletic club collected first and last month’s membership dues at time of initiating the month to month contract. I sent them via certified mail at 30 day written notice, telling them to use the last month membership dues collected at time of contracting for this 30 day clause. Although the contract has a written 30 day membership cancellation notice they explained it’s actually a 60 day termination clause. Further stating the last month membership dues collected in advanced can only be used for another extra “free” month of my choice. The BBB should chase this company out of the state of Utah they give the whole entire state a bad reputation while damaging peoples credit with credit agencies.

This is the worst company ever. This company Peak Payment Solutions is a scam. They make it impossible to cancel a gym membership. When I signed this contract at the gym you electronically sign it you don't see what you are signing at the time you sign it. I thought it was on a month to month basis not for 24 months and I never knew it was gonna be taken out of my account I thought I made a one time payment with my card the day I made the first payment. I can't make the payments on the day they have me billed on and I let them know this and they say they can't do anything about it. I do not want this gym membership and I don't care what I signed considering it was electronically signed and I was lead to believe I was signing something else. I'm going to talk to a lawyer to see what actions I can take against this company and the gym. No one should be stuck in a contract with a gym that is ridiculous. Do not use this company or any company that does business with this company. It's a rip off and a never ending scam.
