      I would also give 0 stars if I could. They weren't helpful or remorseful at all. There is also a $25 cancellation fee for literally no reason. I spoke with an agent and they acted like a robot. Only sending automated responses and saved replies. Constantly sending terms and conditions policy. It's unfortunate that they wouldn't help a member who made a mistake with billing and instead continued to charge them a cancellation fee. I will be telling everyone not to use them.

      Poor business practices, inability to find my account when asked and then suddenly find it after I told them I was going public with the shady business practices.

      I will give zero Stars if I could. Surprising they have an a+ rating. I've tried for 2 weeks to pay with my credit card online and there's something wrong with the system because it doesn't work. I received a prompt from them to call a phone number for member services and got disconnected three times. So the only other option was for me to text them. At this point I was questioning the type of customer service they have and did not want to give my credit card anymore and ask for an IT person or manager to call me which they absolutely refuse. I then tried to delete my account with my personal information on it and it said I need a verification code and they said they sent it to my email. I tried the verification code and it doesn't work. I chose to send a new verification code. None worked. I texted the agent back and they said they have no way to delete my account. I really thought they were beautiful company but this is the worst customer service and so shady that you can't even delete an account. Highly DO NOT recommend.

      I have called 3 times to correct my e-mail on my shipping order. 1 st time The man keeps saying he can't see my account. Tried different ways logged in logged out. I corrected e-mail address on my account but he still wouldn't tell me if it was correct on shipping information. 2 nd time he said wrong name on account I gave my name 3 times spelling it out I gave my confirmation number for DNA kit still wouldn't say he corrected the e -mail on my shipping order. I hung up. 3rd time a woman came on she said she couldn't hear me bad connection. She hung up.

      If i could give 0 stars i would. They have nothing in place to prorate if you cancel so buyer beware. I just got charged for 6 months in advance on a program i dont use anymore. When contacted about cancelling and prorating the remaining balance they simply wont do it. I have not logged into the service for over 4 months prior to this. Extremely predatory business practice in my opinion. If you have an alternative, use it instead of this horrible company.

      Ancestry has predatory practices related to auto-renewals. IF you use a "free" trial and dont cancel in time for newspapers.com, they charge you for a 6-month subscription. This wasnt clear to me and they charged me anyways. Their cancellation policy also wasnt stated on the trial sign up page. Well i never used the service, i reviewed my finances later and passed the 1-month window to get a refund. I never used the newspapers service. Dont fall for their predatory practices. Dont use their free trial They refused to give me a refund even though they can clearly see I never logged into the service.

      It has been many years since I joined Ancestry. Got the *** information and didnt renew. They have been emailing me for years with solicitations and I have clicked on unsubscribe each time. The emails now have no unsubscribe

      I enrolled in the free trial. First day found tree back to 16th century done by relative so I canceled free trial. Billed me anyway, telling me that tree was no record of cancellation. Refused full refund. I no longer trust Ancestry.

      My brother has two children. His profile says, "No known children." I searched for their names and birthplace and get zero hits. Contacted Live Support and they accessed my account. After explaining the problem, they hung up. This used to be a great tool and I'm disappointed it has become so bad.

      33% rate increase. Foreign call center for *** genealogy customers; now that makes sense.Customer for ten years until now; will not return. Only reason I gave one star was this system won't take zero stars.
