      After a feee trail period I was billed ****** dollars and I wasnt able to receive a refund. In my correspondence I was told that it was in their service agreement and they had sent an email, which I didnt receive. I understand mistakes happen but when you havent used their services and you ask for a refund its good buisness practices to refund. What ever happen to customer service with these folks

      Ancestry.com are unadulterated crooks. I forgot I signed up for the free trial. Today they charged me $35.91. Their instructions to request a refund instruct you to go to a page and cancel your account. The cancellation fee is an additional $25. This is a trick. They issued me NO REFUND and on top of that, I am CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL CANCELLATION FEE of $25! This is by far the most crooked scam I have ever seen on the internet. I am now out $60.91 because of these grifters.

      I signed up for what I thought was a 14 day free trial. It asked me to choose a membership so I did. I was IMMEDIATELY charged $26.74 so I chatted online with customer service less than 12 hours later and was told what I signed up for was not the free trial and that they could cancel my membership and sign me up for the free trial after the month was up. I said that I was not happy with that and wanted a refund and the customer service representative disconnected the chat. Very shady business practices!!!!
