1 starDon't return phone calls. Don't return message for cancellation and failure of software to work as promised. It's impossible to get someone on the phone. We signed up for their services and have never been able to send bulk texts/marketing messages as agreed. We requested cancellation which was delayed. Then a sale rep came in person and saw that the software was not working. They have never responded since that in-person meeting. We are asking for a full refund of all monies paid as the software does not work and has not been used as promised.Review fromDylan M

I used Podium to help start my new business. Features were fine, but the product was very expensive. We decided to try other platforms that cost less and had more features, but wanted to keep Podium still. When we made the switch to try other platforms, our number was removed from Podium which means although we still had their service, we could not use most features. Over a period of months I tried contacting support to get a new phone number, but did not get help. I paid for months for a service I could not use and Podium would not reimburse me. Despite that I tried to give them another chance and use their phone services. I was sold a list of services they could provide, so signed up. When they scheduled my call to set up the new services, their representative told me that what I had been promised was not a service they could provide me. Many, many weeks later I am again in a position where I dont have access to all my features, yet they are still charging me!When I called in to undo the phone lines I added, I was told I am in contract and that cancellation is not an option. As of today, I am unable to cancel, yet I am still paying for services I dont have.Podium

1 starI need the -1 star button. They almost got me. False advertising. Refused to offer two week trial as advertised. They said it it's not available. Why is it advertised on your website. High pressure sales team pushes products and when I tried to cancel the company help center told me they will cancel but they do not, they had sales person call me and talked me into a free month trial. But they billed me for the next month (so I pay more) and when I called they say they will credit the next month. So I got billed for more than I wanted. Then when I call to cancel after the credited month, they tell me that the month to month plan has a 30 advance notice cancel policy and I will be billed another month that I did not want. The Podium Sales representative never mentioned any contract requirements on a month to month pay service. I do no trust Podium and I do not recommend Podium. I signed up with Podium after speaking with a sales rep about month-to-month while trying to service. They assured me it was month to month and I could cancel at any time. After several issues with setup and app malfunctions, I decided to cancel the service. I tried to cancel starting 1 week prior to the month renewal, but they do not let you make changes online to your plan. When trying to cancel, it states, "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later". I tried to use the chat feature online to cancel several times and received an email back stating, "Please stop sending new cancellation requests as this delays response". It wasn't until after the renewal date I heard back from someone regarding my plan. He advised I was locked into a year contract. After arguing this and showing my receipt which stated month to month, he then advised I had to pay September and October to have my plan canceled by November as they have a 30-day cancellation terms policy (although this is 60 days not 30, I am unsure how they are calculating this other than just trying to steal your money). This was never advised to me, and my receipt states, "essential plan is a month-to-month agreement until you cancel. If you cancel, your plan will end at the close of the current billing cycle". However this was not the case, and one week after arguing with the representative over text (because they won't call you), my card was charged another $317. I asked for a refund, but they did not respond. I called the sales representative who set up my account, and although he was laid off due to company issues, he still got me in contact with his former manager. I emailed the manager, and he responded the next day, but that was a week ago, and still no further response or communication with Podium. The entire company has proven to be a scam and not reliable. There is a lot of mixed information and false advertising. I would not use this service!Podium

Podium is a scam. They verbally told as 2 months exit after a year and went I asked to cancelled they come with lawyer. Don't signed anything before reading carefully. I made the contract agreement and they made my husband signed and they don't want to help me to get out.. Any other website can be cheaper. The app is very superficial nothing special for the huge cost they charge.Podium

I used a trial version of Podium and found it was not a product that I wanted to continue using. I canceled my trial but Podium will not remove their link to my business ****** My Business page. All of my messaging from ****** My Business is routed through Podium and I'm only notified of a message after about 5 minutes when Podium sends me a message saying I have a message waiting for me. My trial version is unavailable to log into and their customer service team will not disable the connection to my ****** My Business account. This company is terrible to work with and I would not recommend them to anyone.Podium

1 starThere are so many negative things to say regarding this company, and absolutely no positives. I own a bridal store, and was approached by reps from Podium to start a contract. I asked them what happens if it doesn't work out, or something happens and I need to cancel. I was then told that "we ask you to stay for 60 days", but before, and once the 60 days were up, it was a nightmare to get out of the contract. I am hoping to sell my business, but wasn't ready to list it yet, and had to reach out to a realtor in order to get a copy of an email stating that I was trying to sell my business before they'd cancel my account. HOWEVER, my account somehow then was linked to another account with the same store name in a completely different state. The last two months after my account was supposedly canceled, I was charged the monthly fee for another store. Last month it took almost two weeks and several phone calls for my account to supposedly be canceled..again (even got a cancellation confirmation phone call and email), and eventually saw the refund. I was assured it would not happen again. Today, there was yet another deduction in my credit card account for the other store with the same business name. I am absolutely livid at the amount of extra time and frustration their deceit has caused me and my business. Absolutely do NOT recommend.Review fromCharles F

1 starI cancelled and have a paper trail, but every 6 months someone different has attempted to collect and I would dispute the charge and present evidence. Now a collection agency has contacted me for close to **** dollars and the original amount was $800.The service also was not worth it, hence the reason for cancelling. The right hand at Podium does not know what the left hand is doing. They sell and promise the world on an oyster shell, but can't deliver what they promise. Specifically for a small business Podium is a very poor fit, due to the poor communication and abysmal training.The continuing harassment in attempting to collect is very time consuming, but I have the time and ultimately an email paper trail.There should be a Class Action lawsuit against Podium due to the harm against small businesses, I would join immediately.I also recommend complaining to your local state's Attorney General and the ************************* Seriously I have successfully rebutted 3 or 4 attempts to collect and always they were going to review and then silence and no response.Buyer beware.Review fromBrandy C
