      I have tried numerous times to get customer support. Hold times are ridiculous, 60 minutes to 73 minutes every time. At this point I'm trying to cancel and the hold times are brutal. I was able to get through twice and both times it sounds like the person talking to you has a bad connection. Seems purposeful considering it has happened twice. They have bad attitudes on the phone and forward you to a random department once you state you are trying to cancel for another hour plus wait time. They make it impossible to cancel on purpose.

      Three year contract that expires July 2023. Safe Streets a subsidiary of ADT misled in the beginning as if they were ADT. The cameras installed has not worked properly the entire contract period but they are still expecting payment.

      Customer was installed in July of 2020, we provided a 90-day warranty for the customer to help out with whatever goes on. Customer will have to pay in order to receive a service appointment.       I entered into a one year contract with safe streets on 12/5/2020. Unbeknownst to me they were parading as if they were ADT but they were in fact an authorized retailer but did not disclose that information. The installer drilled a hole through my electrical wires and stated that his manager would call me back to schedule a repair. I filed a claim and my total repair amount for the damage was over $1500. I kept calling to get someone out to repair but no one every called me back. I covered the repairs myself. My panel was never hung and it was plugged into a wall outlet on the kitchen sink. On Nov 15,2021 I canceled my contract and paid the remaining balance with an ******* G over the phone. The same day I signed up with ADT directly - my first charge from ADT came out 12/8/21. I have not heard from safe streets since until I checked my credit report and as of Dec 2022 they put my account (thats been paid off) into collections for $1061. I will be filing a small claims court and reaching out to safe streets again so far no one has called me back and when I did get someone on the phone she hung up on me. They are extremely unprofessional and if you check their Yelp reviews, this is something theyve been doing to customers for quite some time.

      On our end we have no record that this customer paid their balance of contract with us. The customer has been sent to a 3rd party collections agency because we have no record indicating they have paid. We would ask customer to send a copy of their bank statement showing they have paid the amount owed to Safestreets.

      In Sept of 2021 I contacted *** to schedule installation of a home security system. *** referred me, unknowingly, to Safe Streets (hereinafter SS), an authorized dealer. SS completed install on October 1, 2021. At this time, I purchased the entire system, and required to sign a multi-year service contract. I signed with the full installation of a Ring three camera security system plus glass breaks, door sensors and fire. The agent did set up the *** app on iPhone, and advised me to download the Ring app to access footage and told us we'd need to link the apps together ourselves. Multiple times over the following months I attempted to connect my Ring to my *** app to no avail; the cameras I was sold were never available to link. In spring '22 I called *** directly for support and was notified that Ring was no longer supported by ***. Further, I was told *** could not help me as this was contracted through an agent, so they connected me to SS via that call. I spoke with a woman and explained the situation; she confirmed that they no longer supported the Ring platform. This meant I had to pay Ring for services separately. The woman noted that someone would all me back to discuss further. I ultimately had to call SS again as I never heard back. The second call she didn't understand why SS would sell that platform to me at that time, and had no remedy. I ceased payment and notified her that SS is in breach as they're not servicing systems they sold under a year earlier. I did not hear from SS again until today. I received a collection notice for $1439.76. SS still doesn't service Ring, so SS is still in breach of contract as they failed to remedy this issue. The purchase price was $3527.61, paid on 10/1/21, posting on 10/4/21 via ******. The only acceptable remedy is to cease the collector action, remove all negative credit references, and consider the contract null, or refund me the entire purchase price of $3527.61 and collect their equipment from my home.

Customer has been attempted to be contacted several times by email and phone to pay for due payments by SafeStreets. After no contact customer was sent to a third-party collections company and is now attempting to collect on due payments of customer.

      On 11-28-22 Two sale representatives came to our home. They said they represented **** Internet and ************ They asked who were our carriers.We told them **** Internet and *********** They asked to see our Bills. $ ***** ********* and $65.00 **** Internet. They said approximately $16.00 mo more they could upgrade performance of computer ,give us more channels on TV. Representative said as part of their of their promo we are entitled to a FREE Security camera for our front door bell or Garage. Representative of Safe Streets USA ***** *************************,. They had us to initial a form to install security camera. A few minutes later a Installer for Safe Streets **** ******** Penalize shows up with equipment for Home Security System ADT. I said we talked about FREE Security Camera. They said let us install modular tonite . savings $99.00 will come back to install Camera that was 11-28--22 they still haven't called or installed.Called ************************* on 11-29-2022 asked to cancel contract. no response.Subsequent phone calls and text never answered. Called 800 ADT number in Cancellation Form December 1,2022.at 3:18 pm. You have 5 days to cancel per agreement Representative *** could not find Safe Street Work Oder or ADT Account number, don't worry he said. I called Safe Streets **** Representative said I could break Contract if I paid $1,200.00. System not installed, we feel we were manipulated. We were quoted $ ****** for Internet and ********* for 24 mo. we ended up with ADT and TV. NO internet Cost $ ****** plus $65.00 for internet total of $ ****** month. Why would I do that if I had full disclosure Now I am paying $ ****** For internet and direct TV .I told them Representative NEVER talked about a Full Home Security System They were going to bundle and lower my cost.. It was never presented as a Home Security System. Solution: Cancel ADT Agreement as of 12-1-22 when I called1-800-327-4348 @ 3:18 pm. Phone call should be part of their records.

      The customer completed both a signed Congratulations Sheet as well as a recorded Welcome Call which clearly indicate that Safe Streets was not the offering party of the AT&T promotion.  The customer must work with their Sales Team, ************************** to obtain the AT&T promotions.  The customer has been in contact with their Sales Team via email and must continue to work with them to obtain those promotions.

      Should the customer wish to cancel the *** account, we will be holding them to the Balance of Contract as the issue does not stem from the *** product but from the AT&T promotion offered separately.

      My family contacted Safe Streets USA to activate our current ADT equipment. We spoke to "*********************," who is not very good with customer service or explaining the setup, when my elderly mother passed me the phone to receive information about the process. We informed him that we don't have a landline and that we have ADT equipment. "*********************" stated that a landline isn't needed if we have internet. He said Safe Streets would take over ADT's equipment and activate it. "*********************" claimed to have done a credit check on my mother without her providing an SSN, just a DOB; he stated he would charge her card $99 upfront (read via the phone but did not provide a three-digit code) for installation he said she was approved for set and an appointment for installation set for November 29th. On November 28th, I received an email stating the installation had been canceled due to issues with the account. It's evident that we've had service with ADT for years, so it does not make sense for "*********************" to state we were approved for an installation of an updated keypad and then cancel the appointment. He also stated the monthly charges would be $45.99. The contact number provided by the employee is *********************. The confirmation number provided is 02W1F473

      The customer was not able to be installed by ************************** because a representative of ADT let us know that there is an active ADT account at the address. The sales rep would not have known this, and it was not discovered till a day after the rep spoke with the customer. We have also refunded the customer the $99 activation fee, if the customer believes this was not returned, we will need them to send in a bank statement clarifying that the $99 was taken from the account and not returned.

      In May of this year, ADT Security stopped by my house (one of those door to door people), talked to my roommate and he said that the service was easy to get out of, no extra payments, no hassle to get rid of if we changed our mind about getting them or count afford it anymore. In August of this year, we decided we couldn't afford it anymore so tried to cancel the service. Turns out, it's a 3 year contract but he never said it. I asked many times different ways to make sure it wouldn't be a problem to cancel. Now it's a little under $2,000 to cancel. So he lied to get us to say yes. When I called their company, they said I could talk to a supervisor that called me, but they never called back.

      They illegally took out over $460 for service I've never had they have taken the money since August of this year. We have contacted them more than a dozen times and they continually say they will refund the money and have not for over 2 months I have never had nor will I ever have service through this company.

      Normally, if a customer cancels ADT will refund them directly back into the bank account from which the money was taken. For some reason, ADT sent ** $265.96 of the total $470.93 charged by ADT for monitoring. We are sending the customer the $265.96 and will take full responsibility in making sure the customer receives that portion of the money they are owed. However, for the remainder of the owed balance the customer would need to talk to ADT as we do not have access to the account information on ADT's end.

      Signed up for a ************************ September 2022. In mid-November got a notification that my *** issued security camera no longer will record any motion occurring outside the outside nor will it record when someone rings our front door bell. Called *** and was told that I have reached a monthly upload limit and because I live in front of a busy road the camera records every car driving by and fills up my monthly upload limit. I deleted all the older videos uploaded on the *** website, but it still will not record any new motion occurring. Was then informed on the phone I need to pay additional monthly to increase my clip amount. I pay them $60 a month to provide security and I feel they are not doing that nor was I ever informed about a monthly upload limit by the salesman when i initially signed up. Nor was the monthly upload limit ever described in the contract that I signed. Now that I would like to cancel they want me to pay a $1500 cancellation fee when they are not upholding their end of the contract of providing monitoring services for the $60 a month I agreed upon. I should not need to pay a cancellation fee when the reason I am cancelling is that they are fulfilling their end of the agreement.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      I did reach out to them months ago in November. They want to charge me an additional $5 a month on top of the $60 a month that Im already was  paying just to have my camera functional again. The need to pay an additional $5 a month was never described in the initial contract I signed. I feel I am being taken advantage of. Yes I signed a contract but one should expect a reasonable service in exchange with fully functional equipment. They are now trying to sneak on another $5 a month. If youre not going to provide me with the services I purchased at the price we agreed upon, I should be able to get out of the contract without having to pay an outrageous fee. Your company is totally unreasonable and unethical  and I will continue my complaint with the state attorney  general offices and on social media outlets.

      The tech rep lied to me. I asked if I could pay $42.99 upfront for the 2 years. Instead he added equipment that I didnt ask for or need ( sml 2 bedroom ****************** $1700 for the *************** getting bills for $42.99mo for 3 years! After complaining,the company only took $2off my monthly for 3 years. im on disability on a fixed income! They should hsve removed tbe unnecessary equipnent & given me a credit!! Their rep was fraudulent!! I only needed an alarm at tbe front ************* would be called. Thats what I asked for!!

      This customer signed a contract that explicitly stated the terms of the contract, being $42.99 per month for monitoring. Furthermore, the extra equipment is listed in the contract, and the fact that customer was not paying for the entire balance of contract is evident in said document.
