Safe streets came out and installled camers and a house alarm. We paid for extra cameras, the total with cameras and installation came out to $800 + dollars. The equipment NEVER worked. We had Several techs come out to troubleshoot. Less than a month later it was determined that the equipment was NOT COMPATABLE with our internet (we live far out in the country). The equipment was picked up and we were given a full refund. HERE'S THE PROBLEM!! Safe Streets continued to bill us every month AFTER the equipment was returned!! I called NUMEROUS times to try to resolve the issue. Every tech I spoke to said it would be resolved. The last tech I spoke to said she would stop the monthly bills. Since then I have not received another bill UNTIL several months later I received a COLLECTION LETTER!! Safe Streets sent my account to a collection agency for $1,251.29 over equipment/service that WAS NEVER PROVIDED! Safe Streets is a complete SCAM. This nightmare has been going on for over a year now!! Biggest regret ever. I will need to find legal help because these fraudulent charges are now affecting my credit.

I've called and chatted online about camera and CO2 sensor issues and can't get anyone to come out and check it. It's been 3 weeks and more troubleshooting via phone. Why are we paying for a service that doesn't protect life and property? Minus 1 stars!

Two more weeks have past and still no contact. I've called them 3 times only to be placed on hold for 30 minutes or more. No return calls. I got a new provider and will cancel ADT.

Paid deposit of $99.00 to have an alarm system installed, I was told that the deposit would be deducted from the bill. Two days later, the system was installed and received a printed contract, stating that I had paid $99.00 deposit and this would be deducted from the final bill upon installation.I received my credit card statement that shows both the $99.00 deposit and the full change, the deposit was not deducted. I called Safe Street, was on the phone for over an hour and was told by two people, including an "Expert" that I was not overcharged. I offered to send my documentation to show I was overcharged and was repeated told I was not overcharged. Because the charges did not show on the credit card statement in less than 5 business days, I can no longer cancel the contract without penalty. The real interesting part it the technician told us that there always is a problem with the billing. Wished I checked out this company before I agreed to have them install the security system. After installation was completed, received

I have been working with this company for a solar system. They represent themselves as SunRun. The paperwork was completed on July 13, 2022. The system was installed by their subcontractor, Bright Planet Solar on August 3, 2022. The inspection was finally scheduled for September 7, 2022. I was informed that the inspection did not pass due to incorrect paperwork! The inspector stated the system was fine but he could not sign off due to improper paperwork. I waited for a few weeks and finally started being persistent as all I was getting was a lot of finger pointing to the subcontractor. Ultimately, *********** is responsible. I am writing this on October 4, 2022 and as of this date, there is no new inspection date even scheduled. Communication has stopped again. I would definitely not recommend this company!

If I could give zero stars I would. SafeStreet has terrible customer service. The first technician placed on of my cameras too high and in the wrong place. The second technician told me that my camera was placed in the wrong area. When I asked him to move it he refused and told me I had to call the company. He stated that the conversation would be documented in the notes for the service. The technician never documented the conversation. SafeStreet will not move it. The technician lied and stated we never had that conversation. Basically it became a he said/she said. I lost. I was basically misled and/or lied to by everyone that I spoke to at SafeStreet today. Of course, my call was passed around from department to department. One time the manager hung up on me and I had to call the company back, even though he had my phone number. He claims the phone went dead. What a joke. I will never do business with SafeStreet again. The company is very unscrupulous, lies and misleads customers. Never again!

I wish I could give this business a negative review! We called ADT for security system, they sent Safe Streets. Safe streets oversells equipment and monitoring contracts pushed through a digital esign. We have the satellite based internet that will not support the system. Cameras will not load, app will not connect and control system does not pick up all notifications. When a technician was sent to check internet support his work order review states Customer internet not approved and to slow upload of .30 should not have been installed. After speaking with ADT to cancel I was transferred to Safe Streets since that is who our contract is through. After speaking with customer service to cancel and diagnostics ran confirmed internet speed is low they tell me their system is connecting properly between each other and the Wi-Fi is not capable. Exactly my point.. THE SYSTEM SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN INSTALLED. Per the technician notes. All safesteeeta tells you is you must pay 75% of remaining monitoring contract wich equals $1600 plus the remaining $1000 in equipment for a system that ADT admits DOES NOT WORK in our home. A total scam and legal jargon that no one including their own employees fully understand, even their manager all they can tell you is the contract was signed and the contract states 75% must be paid. Spare yourself the headache and your pocketbook and never sign a monitoring contract with safe streets. Never let them in your home!!

Started service in 2021. Doorbell battery notification indicating critical battery started 9 months after install. The replacement equipment was covered. However they still charged me 59$ for a tech to come out and change the faceplate which is where the battery is located. The tech told me that there is a problem with these specific doorbells and they replace hundreds every year. The battery expands and are no good in the summer months. I didnt need the tech to come out for this. They could have just sent me a new faceplate and I would have programmed it myself. This issue should not be the customers financial responsibility and I explained that to customer service. They didnt care. I even threatened to leave although still in contract. They offered me a discount to do so but it would still cost me hundreds. I had ADT on my previous home for 13 years and never had this much frustration with customer service. Buyer beware. Do not enter into contract with these folks. Not sure how ADT allows them to continue business as an authorized dealer.

Unprofessional, if you have to cancel your no longer considered a customer and all the holes in your walls/ceilings and if they take off your doorbell its your problem to find some one else to fix. Called a supervisor ( had to take off work twice which is $400 off my paycheck) and was told they simply forgot to call me when they never showed up and that she wouldnt be answering anymore questions nor could I speak with someone higher in office and to not call back. VERY rude and unprofessional. Will be sharing my experience to my neighbors:)

********************* sold us on ADT, while lying through his teeth, manipulating us, and ignoring all forms of communication (because hes the only tech in the area) failed to set parameters (which caused us to be robber) and then blamed us for his lack of follow through. Promised us 3 months free service for his mistakes and a fisheye camera for the back of our house this guy should be let go! Hes a fraud! My family had ADT all throughout my childhood and this guy totally ****** me off when it comes to business and solving problems. Hes lazy, doesnt take accountability and likes to intimidate ADT customers into thinking what hes done is their fault. We will be consulting with *********** about the contract we tried to get out of after 3 days. We refuse to be lied to and have ONLY THAT MAN, to show up at our door. It no longer feels safe!

Id i could rate them negative star rating i would! I started service in January of 2021 and have had nothing but issues with equipment and communication overall, with my builder i was given a special offer and by far it was the worst offer ever! Having safe street security cameras on the outside of the home is a great idea but their equipment sucks! They have replaced them twice and now for a 3rd time they are refusing to replace or conduct service without paying $100 service call and $65 an hour afterward for faulty equipment. Needless to say they didnt care if i canceled or not! New home owners or current owners please do not invest your time with safe street they are horrible all around.
