      I was solicited by Lumio on July 31st, 2023. Their salesperson came into my home and pitched me on solar panels. I told him I did not want to sign anything that night. He promised me that I could cancel at anytime without fees or issues up until installation of the solar panels on my roof. He assured me that the company covers everything until installation, and made this promise while having me e-sign a document that he did not go over with me. He did not let me see or read, nor did he go over with me, any clause stating that I would be responsible for any costs. He assured me that I had a right of rescission up until installation, and I am now trying to cancel the agreement before any installation of equipment, as Lumio’s rep advised. The company is now trying to charge me over $1700 for charges that aren’t even explicitly detailed- just labeling them things like “admin”. Their representative is refusing to acknowledge the promise he made when coercing me to sign the initial agreement- the promise that I would be able to cancel without fees as long as it was before install. I would like these charges voided, as the company said they would void if the rep owned up to what he promised me on the night of solicitation. We have provided documentation to the company explicitly stating that we were told we could cancel without fees, and requesting the voided invoice but they are currently refusing.

      I am rejecting this response because the only costs listed in this documentation are those that are associated with acquiring the permits. The proposal generation as you mentioned was done in house by your consultant and passed to QC for confirmation of accuracy. We did not ask to be solicited and this was all done within your company without us asking. Again, the only costs I see here are those on the permit receipts. 

      As mentioned previously, your sales consultant failed to mention or outline any 3 day right of rescission, instead asserting and promising that I could cancel this agreement without fees. The only fees I see in your provided documents are on the permit receipts, and I once again request that you honor your consultant's promise to us by voiding those fees.

This Agreement (including all appendices) may only be amended or modified by an instrument in writing signed by both you and us." Additionally, page 9, section 8 of your signed agreement states, "You may terminate this Agreement in accordance with the Notice of Cancellation included as Appendix B within three (3) business days from the date of this Agreement. If you cancel after this period, you agree to reimburse us for the reasonable costs (including time and labor) that we incur in connection with your project..."       I entered into a contract with Lumio for the instillation of Solar Panels, with the agreement that billing for the system would commence once the system was fully installed and working properly. The installation was completed in FEBRUARY this year.The city where the permit was submitted, for final approval of the system, informed me that the initial permit was not submitted until MAY! The City clerk also informed me that revisions in writing were requested from Lumio, and that Lumio took whole other month to resubmit those simple revisions in writing, finally sending them in JUNE! The clerk also informed me that another correction was required, and that was only received on AUGUST 18th. A full 6 months later. As such it appears as if either Lumio is being callously irresponsible or merely incompetent in upholding their responsibilities in this contractual agreement! WHILE ALSO BILLING ME FOR A NONFUNCTIONING SYSTEM Along this same line, every time I have called LUMIO, they promise and guaranteed that they will refund all amounts billed, while the system is not functional. No such refund as ever occurred, and they will not notify me as to why, just that they will send the refund. They have been making that promise for 6months and still nothing!These practices of Lumio in Billing me for the system install, while also not completing the task of making sure the system is actually working has become a serious financial burden to my family. I am Paying close to $600 for electricity between being billed for a nonfunctioning system and my actual electricity use.This Practice is also Completely impeding me from being able to take advance of the clause in the contract in which if I payed 30% (Which I was told was 20%) of that loan by the maturity date of 05/04/2024, then I would continue to have a loan interest rate of ******%, also with the stipulation that the rate will more than triple if that 30% was a not paid by that Maturity date.

      Lumio installed the solar panel on our home. Some of the walk way concrete was cut and removed to place solar equipment. Four months after the completion of the solar panel installation, permits, inspection etc...the concrete has not been fixed and any correspondence sent to our project manager Josh has rendered no response it has been nearly 2 months of e-mails to Josh and nothing in return. Adding insult to injury when the concrete was cut, last October, they severed some of our irrigation pipes, which cost us $400 to repair. The Solar Project was to be completed by December of 2022...it was completed May of 2023. Lumio has been a company of excuses rather then results.

      System went off line on May 18 2023 contacted Lumio the next day to diagnose and repair the system and set an appointment close to two weeks from the day reported. Enphase the equipment manufacture contacted on May 20 about the issue and wanted to send a technician with Lumio permission to diagnose the issue with the system. Lumio denied Enphase access to the system until thier technican looks at the system. Lumio Technican looked at the system on May 31 and contacted Enphase Techs when they were not able to resolve the problem. System was finally fixed by Enphase on June 15 and Lumio stated they will compensate me for the outage. i have called several time about the compensation and i keep getting the run around first it was three weeks and the last few calls their stating that it take upto three months to get it approved and a check sent out. I called today August 18 with the same lecture. I would like this resolved.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I went a long time going back and forth with your company, about the contract signed, you will now want to just offer me 500? and 2 panels? Th e2 panels are not even close to the signed contract of 9 panels, I would take the 2 panels if they would do the job of the 9 panels in the contract, but after review the 2 panels will not event get me close to the output necessary. 

      My energy bills doubled because of this bad deal of solar panels scam. The sales person deceived me to think that it was the best for me to save on energy, it was not true.

      Now I have to pay the Mosaic loan 164.66 and plus the FPL bill average 120.00 total of 284.00 per month. This is not fair when the sales person was telling me 130/ month of the Mosaic loan plus the FPL connection fees. 

      He never mentioned that the taxes are not sure, he just said I would get the 9000.00 credit and even sent me one pdf with the mosaic loan -9000.00.

      I want that you pay me all the months of FPL since the last payment sent to me to compensate the error that AKE that you bought now you are Lumen. For a few months they sent me 764.00 credit , and since that day almost

      I had solar panels installed 06/2022 by Lumio more than a year later my solar panels are not working after a technician coming to my home multiple times and they keep saying they got them working and nothing the company keeps giving me the run and around I would like my panels uninstalled. I have been paying my electricity bill and my solar panels.

      Lumio contacted us around August 2022 to offer their services. We already have been considering Solar, so we gave them the opportunity to explain their system. They offered for the systems to be up and running within three months after installation and everything else, as well as explaining that we will not get charged until the system was completed. We signed up with them on October 2022. The system was installed and ready for connection with Teco. We were advised that there would be 2 inspections. The inspections were done in January which failed and in Feburay which also failed inspection. In all, it took 8 months for this company to complete the process. No communication after we reached out regarding being double billed or any communication regarding any changes to our account. This company made it clear that it would be a smooth and quick process (lie), Things would have been great if their work and support effort were up to par.

      We were due a refund for the months charged and double billed since the system wasn't up and running. Lumio stated a refund for the three months was already in process but nothing has been received. We called and cannot get a hold of the account manager which since to have changed three times during this process. Is like dealing with a ghost.

      We demand our refund to be processed correctly and to be sent to us ASAP. It is not our fault they were incompetent in their processes and work.
