I have contacted them regarding the supposed delivery of there device to my mother on 1/27/2023. She was charged 39.95 that day and 29.95 every subsiquent month until now August 2023. I contacted the company as my mother does not have this device nor does she recall ordering the necklace. I was told too bad, too sad. I was given this trackingnumber for the US post office **********************. This tracking number told ne she. I called today 8/8 was told well that number is too old and she ordered it. I was told to cancel she would need to pay 85$ lost fee and now today I was told 65$ lost pendant fee. I asked for proof of delivery to which Brian, said he had but did not need to provide as she ordered it. I would like this stopped and my mother to get her money back, which totals $249.60 and not pay a lost fee. I explained that my mother has been the victim of fraud several times, medicare, a phone scam etc. They were like what does that have to do with us? I said I am trying to tell you that this is fraud, I have searched her house and she does not have this pendant and did not order it. VERY RUDE peopleBusiness Response

My father is 83 years old he was being scammed over the last year. we looked back at several months was over 2500.00. I have taken over his banking and bills that's when I started getting these from Stay safe alert bills for a device at 29.95 a month. i called and tried to cancel they said we have to return device, he doesn't remember and he gets so many calls. We have searched every where. We will pay for device if we have to, but I don't want him paying for something he doesn't have. Can someone please tell me if this is scam company if so I will just stop paying. We have been paying it, but paying for something that is not there. Thank youBusiness Response

Please be advised, I am filing this complaint on behalf of my sister, ***********************, who has early dementia. I am her ***** of ********* On Aug. 3, 2022, I called Stay Safe Alert to cancel her contract that she had no knowledge of signing and received no safe alert device from but was being charged $34.95 every month. The agent who I spoke to advised she needed to return the device, which she didnt have, or pay the balance of the contract. Since there was no device to return, we decided to pay the balance of $174.75, in good faith. On Aug. 5, 2022, Stay Safe Alert again began to auto charge my sisters account until now in the amount of $34.95 each month. Ive been calling periodically to resolve this pertinent issue to no avail. I called again on Wednesday, 7/19/23, and was told that my sister had to send, again, a payment of $120 for the remaining balance of her so-called contract, since she couldnt return her device, which again, she never received. My sister is on a fixed income and has been scammed once before and I dont appreciate it happening to her again! Its a disgrace to see elderly people being treated with such disrespect! I truly would appreciate it if this ongoing issue could be resolved in a timely matter before she gets charged again for the next month and every month thereafter. Thank you for taking the time to address my sisters crucial situation!Business Response

My mother received (unsolicited) a medical stay safe watch. My phone number is attached to the account and has now generated a second account. The vendor keeps calling saying we owe for the service we have not asked for. After a call today, I requested a copy of the initial phone call were I asked for service in April. They said it would take 2 weeks and I plan to call back on 8/2. Attached are the two invoices (now double billing).Business Response

As his health & financial caretaker, I found this $29.95 on my dads statement. When he looked at it he had no idea what or who it was. We called and spoke to a **** ***** started calm & respectful..... UNTIL it Wasn't! He told me that my father; whom can not read, write or spell well; signed a THIRTY-SIX(36) month contract and that because he'd not completed 36 months he needed to send the equipment AND $75 to cancel the contract that he NEVER signed and I know this because my dad brings EVERYTHING to me; for scamming purposes and he DID NOT put this in his weekly pile of documents AT ALL, he didn't even mention it! THEN....... Who has contracts anymore and 36 month contracts, at that! Not cell phone providers, NOR cable providers!! They are scamming seniors out of their hard earned social security money. By charging them $30 a month, then telling them that the equipment is free, but charging them $75 to get out of the 36 month contract that none have ink signedBusiness Response

Stay Safe Alert claims that in August '22 I ordered their emergency help equipment from them and signed on for their service. They do have my credit card number and have been billing me. This may be because I thought that I was talking to SimpliSafe or Life Alert, companies that I am a customer of. They have been billing me for this since 8/31/22. I should have caught this earlier, but, sadly, I did not. Again, I may have confused this with one of the above mentioned companies. They claim that I received the equipment in September of last year. I refute that I ever agreed to this service or received the equipment. I have been with Life Alert since 2019 and am very happy with it. At Stay Safe Alert's request a thorough search of my home was performed by my son. He checked every room and the garage. He looked in closets, cabinet, drawers, under furniture, everywhere. The equipment could not be found. We were not able to confirm with **** (this is who they said delivered the equipment) that it had or had not been delivered. I have a place where I put such equipment until a family member can install it for me, it is not there. I have a place where I keep the empty boxes for such equipment, it is not there. They refuse to stop billing me and say they will continue to bill me until I return the equipment or pay an $85 dollar lost equipment fee. The credit card company (Discover) says that they are obligated to honor the bill. They also claim that I paid a $10 activation fee, there is no record of that payment with my credit card company. I noticed that in the reviews for Stay Safe Alert there have been numerous complaints of the same nature.Business Response

My 80 year old mother with dementia received a cheap plastic med alert device in the mail with some marketing materials. I thought nothing of it since there was no bill or account info enclosed. In checking her bank account, this company has been withdrawing $30/month under the name "MEDALERT STAYSAFEMEDALERT TEL". I called to cancel her service, and they said they would cancel and refund her account once I sent back the device, and they would email me with the directions. They never did. I called my bank to block payment, and they recently withdrew another month's payment under a different name "EPAY STAYSAFEMEDALERT TEL"! It seems they called her and talked her into giving her bank account info over the phone. I have yet been able to get the service stopped or the money they have withdrawn refunded.Business Response

I am 71 years old woman and I was being charge for a Stay Safe Alert that I wasn't aware of. My daughter sent back the equipment to the "lady" that sent it to me and she charged me $75.00. I was not aware I was going to be charge for that. And I would like to get my $75.00 back. I don't care about the other monies that was loss. But I feel like I shouldn't be charged anymore when I returned the equipment in a timely matter.Business Response
