Please be careful for I am certain they are scamming a 92 year old man I am POA for, that is living in a memory care facility- doesn't need an alert device. I called them and they said return device, can't return a device never received. Had to stop payments through the bank. Wish I could use zero stars.

This place is trying to scam my mother out of her money. They someone got her credit card information and sent her equipment of some type to begin the process. They charged her card without authorization! I had to call the CC company and advise that the charges were fradulent yet they still send past due invoices even though they have never provided a service.

We had the same issue as others here. They got my ********** account info and started charging her even though she doesn't want the service and never activated it. They did agree to stop the charges for this month so long as I send back the equipment. They are clearly praying on old folks with dementia. Shame on them!!!

Like many here I went through a similar experience with my father. I paid ***** because my dad was basically kidnapped by the local hospital and kept in the system for months so his medi-cal ********* could pay the different facilities. I paid it in full. The next month he owes ******. They charged him 3 times the monthly charge. I called and they offered to refund half. I told them to cancel and they wanted 75 cancellation fee, being my refund to 4 assuming I send the device back.

My father, who is 93 years old, received a call from Stay Safe Alert . He already has a medical alert from ANOTHER company that works fine. He was told that his alert was "outdated" and he needed a new one. He believed he was talking to his current medical alert company. He was "badgered" into getting a new one. He gave them his debit card number from the bank over the phone. I called Stay Safe Alert and wanted it cancelled because he didn't need a new one. I was told from the agent "well he ordered it." Then I got told there would be a $75.00 cancellation fee. I told them I was going to report them to ND Better Business Bureau and response from agent, " I guess we can waiver the fee". I went to my father's bank and cancelled his debit card. This company preys on the elderly in order to get a sale. This company needs to be investigated!!! Don't let them allow to prey on our elderly in ND!

I, too, would like to leave 0 stars.I have no idea how mom "acquired" a Stay Safe Alert button. It showed up in the mail and there was a $39.95 debit from her bank account for it -- the monthly charge. As mom has dementia, I can only assume that she picked up a "solicitation" phone call. Mom lives in an assisted living facility and receives upwards of 20 "solicitation" calls per day. When I called to cancel, the customer service agent was distracted and hardly interested. I was told that the account would be canceled when they received the device back. I'm hoping for the best there.

Be careful their sales procedures are questionable. I found the stay safe device pictured below at my 89 year old dad's house. He had no idea what it was or how he got it. Checking his bank account there were 2 monthly charges for their service. I did call to get a refund and their answer was when they get the device I can call back and see if they will give me a refund. Thinking there is no way they would try to keep $80 from an 89 year old man I figured I would call the billing department and the person on the phone said they did not have one. Personally I think their business practices border on abuse of the elderly.

Scammers. Unsolicited call, needed to verify information, including credit card info. Assured my mom no changes in charges, but charged card *****. Beware!!!
