Signed an agreement to buy this car on Tuesday, Oct 4th.
A few days after buying this car I realized something was wrong with it. At first I thought it was just different from the last vehicle I drove. But it started getting a bad sway on the freeway around upper speed limits of 60+ mph. Due to rush hour traffic, I did not become aware of this problem until a few days into driving it when I was finally able to consistently drive at 65+mph.

I contacted the dealership exactly 8 days after driving away with the vehicle. They said to bring it down to the dealership so they could look at it and find out what’s happening. I dropped it off (I believe it was 2.5 weeks after owning it, maybe a month, I contracted Covid and was unable to bring the vehicle in right away, nor was I driving it at ALL since the problem was realized.)

A few hours after bringing the vehicle in I get a call and text from their service department saying a quote is ready for the repairs. I open it up to find $3500 in quoted “critical repairs”. 4 brakes, 4 rotors, multiple suspension components on the front end, all of this leading to braking issues and swaying on the freeway. They refuse to pay for these repairs. I am claiming that these repairs SHOULD have been addressed before the vehicle was given to me. As it was, they gave me a vehicle that was not road ready and NOT safe to drive. There is NO WAY 4 brakes, 4 rotors, and multiple suspension components failed in the less than 500 miles I put on the vehicle in the time I’ve owned and driven it. I noticed this problem well before that point anyways, around 150 miles after they sold it to me when I was able to hit full freeway speeds for the first time. They still refuse to pay for these services. I just paid a ridiculous amount of money to buy this car, bought a warranty I was unaware of (nearly $4k that they slipped into the contract with no warning). The least they can do is fix these repairs or buy the car back. I prefer the simple fix.

I purchased a 2016 ****** WRX STI from this dealer on August 29th, 2022. The dealer refused to let me test drive the car due to a damaged wheel in the back, claiming the damage was from someone hitting a curb but I came to find out the car had been involved in a rear end collision even though they told me it had not been in an accident after I asked. upon purchase they agreed to replace the wheel and I could pick the car up on the next Monday. They did not replace it but had it repaired supposedly and I didnt get the car till Thursday. I drove it home and to work the next day and the motor lost compression. Its now October 25, 2022, Ive owned this car for two months and have driven it one day. They dont answer phone calls and rarely answer texts, theyve said they were going to make it perfect for me again but since the extended warranty company wont pay for it Im not sure what the plan is and the car just sits in their lot. They told me they would not sell me the car unless I bought the extended warranty. I fell for the pushy sales approach, this dealer showed a lot of red flags during the buying process. Including the base purchase price of the car going up over 2k as soon as I walked in. Ive been very patient with them and Im not sure what else to do. Im almost 40k into this car and it broke down immediately after taking it home. They have been gracious in letting me drive a loaner car in the mean time but I have not received an guaranteed resolution after 2 months. The driver headlight also doesnt work due to one being cracked which I hadnt noticed till I drove it at night. My salesman seems to want to make it right but he doesnt have the ability to do it without management and it seems to me that they want to sweep it under the rug. I drove the car 40 miles before it broke, I think its reasonable to assume there was something wrong with it when they sold it to me. Not letting me test drive it and forcing me to buy the warranty is suspicious.
