To Whom it may concern,This letter is to inform you that I recently received a copy of my credit report that your company publishes and after reviewing it I found a number of items on the report that are inaccurate. Sometime in the first week of October, I called and spoke to an agent who helped me skip the payment for October due to a hard ship, my wife lost her job. The agent was very friendly and advised me that if we need help with skipping another month, to call and it would be no problem. I tried to do so a couple weeks ago and was told no, it was then sent up for a manual approval, which was denied. I don't think this is fair because the agent advised me to do so if needed. If that agent didn't advise me to do so, I would've figured out a way to make the payment. They told me something and in good faith I believed them. I'm sure calls are recorded and I would like you all to listen to that call and do what is right. This isn't my fault and you all are putting the blame on me. I would like a manager or higher level to handle this and reach out to me with a resolution. A higher level executive is preferred. I will seek legal action. The phone recording will prove what I was told.Business Response

The people on the phone are extremely rude. They hung up on me several times. It's made even worse by the fact that it takes 20-30 minutes on hold to get to anyone just to get hung up on. I tried to make a complaint against a particularly rude person and the supervisor I was talking to kept recording the complaint to make the rude person sound less bad. Collectin Department
Worst customer service
I don’t care the customers only the loan. Won’t work with you with payment plan. When a REAL Collection Agency would work with you to set up a payment plan. America first collection department it’s nightmare. I want to set payment plan for $180 because I barley got new job and now I can make bigger payment but they decided to withdraw $130 from account and now I am negative in my account. It’s was so simple splitting the payment for two months. But no they don’t care about my account. If it goes negative and one of the supervisors was a nightmare, she was rude. She didn’t understand what I was saying and now I’m going to close all my accounts and go to a different bank.Business Response

I financed a car with a loan from americas first. The car was purchased 8/3/23. I never got a bill, when I called I was placed on hold with no answer. I finally got through Friday 9/29 and was told my payment was past due but I could pay by phone. When I said I never got a bill the person didnt offer to send another and didnt seem to believe me. I paid by phone but today 10/2 it has not been withdrawn from my account. I have been on hold for 25 minutes at time of this email. I tried to sign up for online bill pay but it wont work, and I am only relying on the account number provided to me by the employee I spoke to 9/29, since I never got a bill. She gave me two account numbers but there is only space for one. I submitted a complaint to them online 9/29 and I havent been contacted. A complete customer service failureBusiness Response

Date of Transaction: 07/15/2023 Over 50 Calls, and Numerous **Mails requesting a Pin Number that can never be sent out.I didn't pick this Institution for my Auto Loan, Hopefully they can transfer my Loan to an Actual Bank!I see that America First CU has a 1.57/5 Rating. So, after speaking directly to Managers, Supervisors, and Bank Employees, I probably will not get my problem resolved without calling an Attorney or the Attorney General in my State. I am a ************* Veteran, I hope that I can have my loan sent to USAA or PenFed and even Navy Federal Credit Union. I purchased a nonstop direct flight only ticket online thru Priceline.The Ticket was supposed to be ********* Nonstop to ***..They agreed it was a nonstop and once they got my credit card number they completely " bait and switched" the ticket putting me thru **********(layover).I use a wheel chair flying disabled walking.Never ever buy lay overs for this reason and checked wheel chair reason.Called Priceline 15 times in a day each time mail box full and did so for 3-4 days.Called America First within 30 seconds explained over and over to the idiot in detail exactly what they did..Followed up 4-5 times and they didnt even contest the charge to days late and had no details at all of complaint.America First says that have to go by pricelines word...Balony they scammed a disabled person that can hardly walk..after saying a wheel chair was needed.Cancelled CC within 30 second of Pricelines scam.Totally scammed bait and switched.All this disabled ill senior wants is the $127 and change credited back for the fraud against a disabled person or anyone in the case...Filed numerous compaints online asap and yet to get my credit......Please get me my credit since America First new 30 seconds after the scam was done..Thanks you very much and God Bless.Business Response

I got a car loan from them in May of 2023, a secured car loan (had to go find a car and get it approved then go to bank and fill out paperwork before getting the check and getting the car). I haven't been able to register the vehicle since I purchased it, I've called and emailed dozens of times to them. Always an excuse or someone else's fault. First it was the DMVs issue, then they couldn't find where the title was and now come to find out from the DMV that American first is missing paperwork, they should have gotten from the company who sold it to me back in May. So here we are 4 months down the road and 200 dollars a month. They have no updates at all as of today 9/11/23 but told me keep making my payments. I've reached out to them with 20 phone calls and multiple emails and have not one time been told any updates. My other vehicle is also financed through them, and I have never had any issues with them until now. This is poor business, communication and downright unacceptable.Business Response

The bank continues to take my money, they keep taking it and putting it to my loan and causing me to be late on my rent. I talked to them and they said as long as I called them and let them know what was going on they would stop doing that. Now here we are another month I went this morning to go pull my money so I can pay my rent so that I don't get late fees and they've taken my money again. Not only this time have they taken my money but there is no one for me to contact until tomorrow morning, so now I somehow have to come up with another $150 to be able to pay my rent and if I can't come up with that by Wednesday then I'm going to get evicted. This is ridiculous I called them and I told them that I was behind, I've asked them for help with my loan they refuse to help me or give me any kind of help, they refuse to defer my payments to the end of the loan (even though they say this is a perk they offer) so that I can get caught up. I got caught up, then fell behind again because of the cost of living. Now they're putting me an even more of a financial hardship and I don't know what I'm going to do because now not only am I behind on my car payment but now I'm about to be evicted from my house because the bank won't leave the money that I earn that's mine in the account. They either need to help me with something in some way to get my loan current or they need to quit taking my money out of my account I can't afford the late fees every time they do this they're causing me to drown financially and I don't know how many more times I have to tell them this before somebody listens. If I lose my housing because they refuse to leave my money where it belongs even after I've called them and tried to work with them then I am going to *** them. This has been going on for months now and I'm sick of it I cannot afford to lose everything else just because I have a car loan with a bank who refuses to help me.Business Response

I noticed that some of the checks that were issued through my business accounts bill pay service we're not visible online. I called up your 800 number and spoke with an agent who stated I needed to go and chat online to get those checks sent to my online profile. I logged in and requested that from the chat agent, named ARRACK. He told me I needed to log into my business account in order to request this. I was logged into my personal account, which is linked to my business account, so i was already logged in to where i normally log in to conduct my business affairs. This has never been an issue before. I stated this is just too much. I'm gonna be talking with three or four people by the time this is all done and I still don't know if I'm gonna get done what I want accomplished. I told him I was gonna file a complaint and he didn't say anything else. I did verify that the name he gave me was his real name so you can look it up. This was poor customer service.
I am asking for all the checks, where there are no images online, to be sent to me so that I have them for the record. Some of them I need immediately for business purposes, and the others I'll need for tax records, no matter the year they happened in.
Also, regarding the bill pay system, when they send out checks, they should always include them online so we can get copies of the cancelled check. Why does this not happen automatically? Sometimes the checks are visible, while other times they are not. Please make this automatic that checks are posted for online viewing once they are cashed going forward. I need this for tax purposes.
