1 starAmerica First has denied to credit back an overdraft fee of $25 which occurred on May 27th by an unauthorized charge of $101.86 by ******. This is no fault of mine why this happened. Why they won't credit this back they won't tell me. I've been with this credit union for over 15 years and this is how I'm treated. I could understand if it was my fault but it's not. So I'm wanting this credited back to my account no questions asked!Review fromEric J

1 starThis institution fraudulently ran a hard pull on my Experian credit report without my consent. I've expressed my concern over the phone with two different **** and they both tried to justify their incompetent behavior by acting as if it was clear before the application, that they were gonna run a hard inquiry before approval.... IT IS NOT STATED THAT A HARD PULL WOULD TAKE PLACE! I'm demanding this inquiry be removed and that this company is held accountable for it deceitful methods. After this I will file with the ***, **** and any other agencies including local agencies in **. A demand letter for violating my rights will be sent off immediately and depending on their response, I will proceed with small claims court. 3 days now buying out my lease with ****** and **** cant even explain to the dealership what they need so I can complete transaction. I give up going to pick a new Credit Union so I can finish up buying out my lease, worst I have ever dealt with

This institution should be shut ******* is impossible to make a loan payment online or by phone. They want you to deposit your money into their accounts in order to make a loan payment. My account is always locked!I hope someone initiates a class action lawsuit against them and shuts them down!America First Credit Union

Branch at Di*k's Store in *********, **. (I can't spell the whole name of the store, because the system thinks it's a profanity) HORRIBLE service and RACIST employees. I called customer service today (May 7th, 2025), due to some fraudulent activity on my account. The lady over the phone was beyond amazing; she answered all my questions, walked me through the whole process, stopped the charges, and cancelled my card. Then, she asked me to go to any branch to pick up my debit card. I arrived at the closest branch to my house (the one inside Di*k's Marketplace in *********). There were two tellers and one loan officer. One teller (male) was assisting a customer, and the loan officer (female) was helping two people. When I got there with my two little daughters, the teller looked over the shoulder of his customers and told me, "We are about to close." I explained to him that I needed to pick up my debit card and that it would take him less than four minutes to issue a new one to me. Then, the loan officer, a blonde Caucasian lady, told me, "We can't help you; our system is already closed." Then, my little daughter quickly replied, "How are you helping them then?" and I added, "You can't help me because we are Hispanic?" The loan officer looked at my daughter and then told me, "There is nothing we can do right now; come back tomorrow at 9:00 AM." All the customers they were helping were Caucasian. I have never ever had such a horrible experience with this financial institution.America First Credit Union

I will NEVER use America First Credit Union again. Their practices are completely unreliable and dishonest. I was lied to multiple times by different representatives, given conflicting information, and left in the dark when it mattered most. They clearly do not value their members or operate with any integrity. If you're looking for a trustworthy financial institutionkeep looking. This place is a nightmare.America First Credit Union

Totally unwilling to help with loan and credit cards. I needed to modify my car loan and credit card. absolutely no help at all. They offered no decrease in interest. Instead took my payments out to 84 months on the credit card and gave me 4 months on my car loan, and then it goes right back to an unaffordable payment. As son as I Pay off America First Credit Union, I will take my business to Cyprus Credit Union. They are sincere and treat you like a human being. I wish there was a 0 star option. I have had to call America First nearly every month to make my car loan payment, my autopay quit going through and nobody was able to tell me why it stopped running. The third month I had to call them, they let me know that they "couldn't find my title". In addition to losing my title, the representative guaranteed that he reinstated my monthly autopay from my bank account. Spoiler alert: he didn't. and I was nearly late on another payment the next month. I am hoping to find and refinance my 2019 car elsewhere, but am now worried about the other ratings because that doesn't seem like it'll happen smoothly either. Nobody I've spoken to has been able to give me a clear answer on any question or any ability to resolve the issues I come to them with that they created.Heads up on their website, they don't have any way for you to find your full account number online. The only place I can find my account number is on the original paperwork I got when I signed the loan information.I wish I had researched this credit union before using them for my car loan, I would take a higher percentage rate to avoid working with people who seem like they are unable to process simple banking processes.America First Credit Union

Horrible service, I try to make payments and everytime the transaction was rejected or decline by the bank, so I have to waste my time to go in person they said everything is ok, hours later I try to use it to buy my lunch and was decline again and thats being the last 2 years I dont recommend this bank, you will stressed out a lot with themAmerica First Credit Union
