      I canceled services on 8/2020. I received a final early termination invoice that Ive been paying on. I called recently to request an update statement ti be mailed to me. I tried of the poor customer service! I have not received a statement which I will like to pay off and be totally done with NorthStar! I keep getting collection call and emails but I cant get my final bill to pay it off!! I may take this inti legal matters

      My mother entered in a contract with this company without my knowledge. I tried to can this a couple of years ago and was informed that she was locked into a 5 yr contract. So, I continued to pay for something she was not using. Yesterday, I called to cancel and was then told that She is was locked into another 18 month contact because this auto renews with not any notices what so ever that this is renewing. She was told that she could cancel this in 1-**** which is 18 months from now. So, why in the world does this 18 months start now that she is trying to cancel. Apparently, they are scamming people all the time. There will always be that renewal just when you are cancelling and wanting you to pay. This is WRONG! ( So, from August 2022 - January **** will be exactly 18 months) are you kidding me. You just renewed this as she was speaking to you......I need this to be cancelled immediately!

      NorthStar Alarm Services has been a ROYAL PAIN IN MY LEFT **** CHEAK! I signed a contract for 5 years at a $115.00 per month being told that they would monitor the cameras and that we would have access to recordings for as long as needed. That was a LYE! A car was stolen in front of my house while on vacation and in reviewing the camera and speaking to there tech department the footage was not able to be recovered because too much time had past. LYE #2 Technicians will always be available to fix alarm/camera problems/smoke detectors. Yes, if the homeowner is the technician and able to fix the problem themselves. The company doesn't care if your system is down or up working. I have not seen a technician since my system was installed. In a nutshell, please save yourself money and time by NOT doing business with NORTHSTAR!! I have never had such an horrible experience with a company. DON'T believe anything that the sales rep says!!! This company deserves 0 Stars. One last thing there customer service is truly useless!

      I was told to submitted a "Notice of Cancellation". I tried to cancel service over 5 months ago... and since they "autorenewed" my contract. That 60 day notice for said notice was not mention at the time the service was started more than 12 years ago. Customer service is poor. Customer service representatives are rude and unprofessional. Obviously cancellation means nothing to this company, NorthStar Home Alarm Company.
