I ordered a shirt from this company in August 2024 and they have since started charging me for a “subscription”. I never subscribed or authorized their monthly subscription fee. This company is a scam! I want to be reimbursed for the unauthorized fee of $19.95 in Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec 2025.Initial Complaint

I ordered eight t-shirts which they actually charged me for nine about a week ago and then just like everybody else that has been on here that says they're not clear about a membership, I got charged 19.99 today. Everyone has the same complaint so clearly they're not very honest about showing that it's a membership. Why would they advertise this shirts this price only for today and then what they're really doing is getting you for this fee for a membership without making it clear t even blurry. It's probably in a 12-page thing you need to have an attorney read with you to see that you have a membership you're signing up for because that's what everybody else on here said. I didn't see that I was signing up for a membership either so this is unethical especially from a company selling shirts that are Christian.Initial Complaint

I ordered and paid for products from the company on 10/19/24. I also started a membership. I paid the $19.95 on 11/26/24. I checked on the status of my order on 11/27/24. After reaching out to customer service via email at **************************, I was informed that one of my products was out of stock. I was never informed about this issue (in over a month). I was offered to get a refund on the out of stock product and process the order for the other items. I replied that I would like to do that, but that I thought I should have been notified about the delay. No response. I have emailed the original customer service representative (Anna) three times. I have called the customer service number, but no one answers and you are directed to text the same number of ###-###-####. I have texted the customer service number. They responded once requesting my email. Then repeatedly no response. I texted the number back three times. I eventually had to refund my order on 12/03/24, even though I did not want to. I just wanted the products, because they were purchased for women in my discipleship group for a Christmas exchange. Ultimately, I was only refunded $31.95 of the $42.86 that I spent. Also, I paid for the November membership fee after never receiving my products. I am out $30.86. In summary, you cannot get a resolution or barely a response from customer service via email, phone, or text from this company. The company will withdrawal your membership fee, but not ensure that you receive products that are purchased. They are not professional at all.Initial Complaint

I bought a t-shirt from this company (Christian Divinity) back in April for my Mom for mothers day. I am just now noticing that since may they have charged me monthly in the total of $140 in membership fees. I never joined a membership or had any knowledge of these fees. In researching this I am seeing that I am not the only one who has been scammed in the process. I would hope with it being a Christian company they would do the right thing and cancel whatever membership they falsely have for me and refund me my money. very disappointed in this company!!!Initial Complaint

I orders some tee shirts from Corinthians Corner on August 8, 2024 and paid them $83.85. Ever since then I’ve been getting charges to my American Exoress card :
9/5:$40.58; 9/12:18.95; 10/12: 18.95. I don’t know what they are charging me for! I paid full price for the tee shirts!Initial Complaint

I ordered a shirt online and the company charged me a membership fee of $19.95 which cleared my bank account today. I never authorized this nor joined any membership club with this company. The charge is dishonest and unethical and after reading other complaints on your site I can plainly see that this is a scam your company runs to get money out of patrons. I want the charges to my account refunded. I will be cancelling this bank card thanks to your company and warning others so this doesn’t happen to anyone else that I know personally. You can reach me at the provided email acct. since the nonworking phone number listed for your company is clearly part of your scam.Initial Complaint

This company claims to be a Christian company offering low prices for Christian t-shirts and merchandise (which you also pay your own shipping for). Once your order ships, they sneakily charge you a membership fee of $20. I did NOT authorize nor was I alerted of this reoccurring fee during any of my payment processes or confirmation emails. Very poor and deceiving business practices. I would never have known I was being charged this if I hadn’t reviewed my bank statement shortly after. After contacting their customer service to dispute the charge they told me that I “clicked a box” authorizing the monthly subscription (which no where in the description states anything about a monthly subscription fee). They told me they could only refund me half the charge, or I could send the two shirts back and pay my own $10 shipping again (and not be refunded my original $10 shipping) for a refund. This wouldn’t make any sense as I would still be paying $20 in shipping fees to get my $20 subscription fee reimbursed. This company clearly has been doing things dishonestly and hasn’t changed their practice looking at the other complaints here that are all the same and they should not be in Buisness.Business Response

Erin,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We genuinely apologize for any frustration or confusion you encountered during your purchase.
Christian Divinity operates as a members-only platform, and we strive to ensure that all terms and conditions, including the membership fee, are clearly presented during the checkout process. Customers are required to check a box to confirm their understanding and acceptance of these terms before completing their purchase. We regret that this may not have been as clear as we intended in your experience.
We understand your concerns regarding the membership fee, and as a gesture of goodwill, we have processed a refund for all of your membership fees. Please note that the cost of the products and shipping cannot be refunded, as these items were delivered as ordered.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us directly at **************************. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to better serve you in the future.
Sincerely,
Christian Divinity TeamCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
Absolutely no where in your check out process does there explicitly say there is a fee for thurs membership or what this fee is. You advertise only the very low pricing of T-shirt’s and merchandise on platforms such as Instagram, which prompts people to click on them to shop. Here they are taken directly to our he merchandise and check out page which NO WHERE during the checkout process tells you what the membership fee is. It is extremely sneaky and misleading to not list any membership pricing confirmation at any time during the checkout it process. You clearly know you are in the wrong as there are dozens of other complaints on here stating the same thing. God is watching. Do the right and honest thing and refund this $19.95 that was NOT clearly explained OR authorized.
Sincerely,
Erin ValentinoInitial Complaint

Christian divinity automatically signs people up for a monthly charge of 19.95 for a "membership" however the first 7 days are free and it is stated in their website that you may cancel at any time. I emailed them to cancel 4 separate emails and every single response back that I received was the exact same worded response. I was charged the 19.95 and they did NOT help to cancel. Please assist in a refund and cancelation.Initial Complaint

This company in rolls you in an automatic subscription when you buy a product from them. You are not told this when you place your order. This is deceiving and fraudulent. When I contacted the company they refused to reimburse me my $19.95 that I didn’t authorized. Finally, the company credited my account for $10.00 and now I received another $19.95 charge on my credit card after asking them to discount services that I didn’t requested. People need to be aware that even though this company claims to be a Christian company and profess God as their shield, they are scamming and deceiving their customers.
