Placed order around August 18, 2023. The order placed for merchandise totaling $30.93. Have yet to receive any of it. In the last week have asked for a refund as I have not received merchandise. The company refunded the cost of ONE item at $4.99. Cannot call as no-one answers the phone. Today was told they would refund the rest when I returned it. I explained that I could not return something I never received. I could send you the e-mail regarding the order but do not know how to upload it.Business Response

Upon reviewing your account history, it has come to our attention that there may be some confusion regarding your recent transactions. On August 10th, you placed an order for $25.94, and then immediately after accepted a special promotional offer of $4.99 which was an additional transaction.
While both amounts have been refunded to your account, they were processed as separate transactions due to system limitations preventing consolidation. For your convenience, I have attached a screenshot depicting both refunds.
We take great pride in ensuring the timely delivery of orders to our valued customers and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight.

********************************** charged me monthly payment for the membership. I asked them to cancel since August 16 but no one ever got back to me. It costs $13.95 monthly and on their website, they said to cancel, you can manage it yourself which is not true. There is no cancelation button. And they said email to cancel. That is also not true because I emailed them several times and noone ever get back. And I still got charged. Please help.
Now I see many people who purchased their product on the internet saying that they kept charging and noone successfully can cancel the membership. Hope you can help.

Christian Divinity is a members only company that provides a community to help women grow closer to God through providing live spiritual devotionals, eBooks and discounted pricing on all of our products. When customers become members they are given access to an account that allows them to see and join these devotionals hosted by our own spiritual counselor Kayla and they also gain access to the website to shop at the discounted pricing rates. For this service we charged $13.95 per month and allow users to cancel their accounts with us anytime and can give us a phone call or email us during regular business hours.
Our email responses may have been forwarded to spam or accidentally deleted however we can confirm the membership charge too *** was refunded and cancelled upon request no problem. We have attached a screenshot showing the transactions was refunded and have also attached a screenshot of what the inside of our membership portal looks like for reference.
In the future if *** would like to order from us or join our community she will need to contact us directly to have us reinstate her membership. We feel this resolution is more than fair and hope that both the BBB and *** agree.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: the true story is different from what you stated. When I called and emailed to cancel the membership, no one ever replied or answered for days. That is not a normal business practice. You advertised that members can canceled any time but in reality, you made it very hard to do so. You said it could be that my request went to spam. How convenient to reply like that. Normal business will not allow such a thing to happen and they will care more about their customers satisfaction.the only reason you even let me canceled the membership is because I contacted my bank and informed them not to let you withdraw money anymore (the monthly fee) because you are not a good company and only took money from people.

Company appears to be a Christian T-shirt company, but when you purchase anything, you inadvertently sign up for a membership at 13.95 a month. Although their web-site does communicate this, it is deceptive. No one going to buy a Christian t-shirt thinking they are signing up for a membership. This is a new company with multiple reviews in June and July that communicate the same issue. I think what is doubly frustrating, that it is done in the name of JESUS. That is a shame. For this service we charged $13.95 per month up until December when our rates recently changed to $19.95 per month. Users are able to cancel their accounts with us anytime and can give us a phone call or email us during regular business hours. We are a smaller team so sometimes it may take us up to 24 hours to respond.
We clearly talk about the membership on every single page of the website and make all users agree to it through a checkbox before they are allowed to make any purchases. Additionally we send emails and sms messages regarding the membership immediately upon checkout helping members utilize it and log into there accounts.
We understand the occasionally there is users who sign up to try something out or take advantage of the discounted product so we back our store with a 30 day satisfaction guarantee policy to ensure customers have a quality experience.

On July 22, 2023 I placed an order with Christian Divinity. On August 1, 2023 I was enrolled in their "club" and auto-charged a recurring $13.95 fee. I did not authorize a "club membership" and attempted to contact the company via email, phone, text, and Facebook messenger for a reimbursement of my $13.95 fee and a cancellation of my unauthorized "club membership". I cannot get in touch with them. I looked up their FB page and read many complaints from other people regarding the same issue. This company, Christian Divinity, is scamming people into a recurring monthly charge. They do not return calls, emails or texts. I contacted my credit card company and filed a fraudulent charge report.Business Response

On July 22nd you ordered 5 of our Christian tees using the discounted pricing perk and joined the Christian Club membership program, on this order ***** saved over $120. We then charged her for the membership after her trial period 10 days later then monthly thereafter as per our terms and conditions that ***** accepted when she made her initial purchase.
We understand that sometimes people may look over fees when making purchases so we do our best to refund people during these circumstances. ***** was already refunded the full membership charges on August 5th. We have attached a screenshot showing that her membership fees where refunded and that she was allowed to keep the product she purchased at a discounted price.
In the future if Therese would like to order from us or join our community she will need to contact us directly to have us reinstate her membership. We feel this resolution is more than fair and hope that both the BBB and Therese agree.Customer Answer
