    BRD past solutions offered me trial of treating my yard outside for $50 when a salesman came by. I understood this was a one time application to try it out. They automatically signed me up for monthly treatments and build me $140.71. I called and canceled andasked for a refund and they bill me $337.71 for canceling I asked for a total refund and they said no we cannot do this.

    On 8/9/24, a door-to-door salesman from BRD Pest Control came to our house with an offer of a $50 discounted pest control treatment to demonstrate their service. He stated that he would hope that we would continue service after that, but that services could be cancelled anytime. My wife signed the tablet but was told she was just signing that she understood what the salesman had said and was approving the start of services. The contract that now shows over my wife's name called for four more services at $130 each, which they try to cram in a very short time frame over the winter months. And they will not allow cancellation, denying that the salesman would have said that.
    Reading the overwhelmingly negative reviews for this company on BBB, I wonder how they are allowed to continue doing business like this. Is there any recourse?

    I was told it was a one time service to try them out for $50.00. They now say I am in a contract which I cannot refuse service to or they will cancel and bill me. their sales man was fraudulent and I believed him. i signed his **** ipad and believed him. My father has a serious lung condition and cannot have their chemicals around. I just want out of the contract without paying them anything since I have paid for the one service and do not want anything else. They are a sneaky door to door sales company that is not honest. I know this happened to other people in town as well. I will no longer talk to any door to door sales people.

    I tried to cancel my "contract" with this company (I say "contract" because I was told at the time I agreed, that there was no cancelation penalty and it can be canceled at anytime, I failed to read the document fully, because there is a cancelation fee). Yet, when I tried to cancel, I was informed that there would be a charge. I told them that I would be disputing that charge prior to remitting payment, and I needed time to review their contract and then I would respond accordingly. I revoked my authorization for any payments, but yet they charged my card moments after I informed them I would need to review first. My bank and I agree this was fraud since they did not have authorization to charge my account, but yet proceeded to do it anyway. I will be filing formal charges.

    The salesman came to our door and was very friendly. He explained the one time charge of $129 and all the treatments that came with that cost. He told me several of my other neighbors already signed up for it. I figured, why not, he's nice and I have a lot of grasshoppers. I might as well help this guy out so he gets a little commission instead of me going to Walmart and getting my own pest control. That was my first mistake. He did not tell me I was signing up for a year contract, that they would try to schedule future apointments, and that I could not cancel my account without paying an early termination fee. I just got an email about a future appointment. I called them and told them that I was told it was a one and done thing. The people who answer the phone can't do anything so they always transfer you. The next "manager" was extremely unhelpful. He said he could not do anything and that if he cancels the account then I would be charged over $400 for a termination fee. I told him that the sales rep did not explain that to me. He did not care. The next "manager" I spoke to said the same thing. I told them I canceled my debit card. He said that the account would be canceled once the early termination fee was paid. I explained that they could not charge me again because I canceled my card. In a round about way he said that it's up to billing, so basically it's going to collections now. They have terrible customer service and their sales reps lie through their teeth. They do not care about the customer and they have extremely shady business practices.

    I have been trying to cancel services with this company since May. My contract said I have to cancel by email. I sent an email on May 17th. I got a reply saying I have to call in so I called in. When I called in they said they can’t help me, only an account manager can. Do after phone tag with a Steven, I finally talked to him. He said I was still in contract. While my contract was for a year and the year had passed in April, they had yet to do the final service. So I paid for the final service and was assured it would be cancelled after that. While I disagreed that I should have to pay after the year, it wasn’t worth the fight. But even from this date we’ve still been charged two more times (both disputed with the bank and won) and also have talked to the account manager again, being assured both on the phone and in writing that it will be cancelled. Yet they are still trying to come to my home again and do another service and charge me even though I have refused. At this point, I don’t know how to get this company to stop.

    We have been trying to cancel our subscription with BRD for about a month. When we call them, they tell us that only a manager can cancel our subscription and that a "manager" will call us back. No one will return our calls and they continue to charge us. We want our subscription cancelled immediately.

    We had a man and woman visit our home in April selling pest control services. We discussed using them one time to see how we liked them and possibly having them back if we were happy with the service. My husband and I both inquired about this only being a one-time only service and we were assured that it was. They stated that they required a signature and intials. One was to be able to run the card for $139.99 and the other one giving permission to spray. This is where they deceived us.
    They did come out and spray a week or so later. The guy had a small container he carried around that sprayed inside our home, outside perimeter of our home, and our trees. Very little was sprayed that day and it did not deter pests. We weren’t overly impressed with as we’ve had better luck with Ortho Home Defense and it’s a lot cheaper.
    Fast forward, my husband recently received a call from BRD Pest Solutions indicating they needed to schedule a time to come out and spray and he told them we weren’t interested. He was then informed that we are locked into a contract and will be required to pay $129.99 for June, September December of 2024, and March 2025 whether we receive the services or not.
    I called and requested a copy of the Service Agreement today because we were not provided any type of documentation. I explained to the man on the phone why I was requesting it and he apologized for the sales team not explaining it very well. I told him that they straight up LIED to both my husband and I because we each directly asked about this only being a one-time service and both times they said yes. I asked if there was anything we could do because this was very deceptive. He said no.
    Now we are required to submit cancellation in writing 30 days prior to cancelling a contract that will continue indefinitely beyond March 2025 if not cancelled. If we cancel now before the end of the contract we are still required to pay 80% of the services through March 2025.

    Service was cancelled and rescheduled multiple times. They are unwilling to answer emails or phone calls. Per their contract cancellation is required in writing. When I emailed the service provider I continued to receive the run around that only the billing officer can cancel accounts. I called multiple times to reach the billing officer and was told that it would be taken care of. Then BRD Pest solutions did not cancel my account they changed me to a month service and continued to bill my account. When I called back no one would answer. I have left several messages and receive a text asking if I would like to talk to someone through text messages but no one will respond. I called again 7/18 and was told again that there is only one billing officer available and that charges will not be cancelled or stopped until the billing officer is available which he was not available again. This is fraudulent to change a service and continue to bill after service was cancelled.

    The salesman did not explain that when I itialed his agreement that I was signing up for a 1 year contract. He said it was an agreement to have my yard sprayed at a certain cost.
    When they did come out they did a very poor job. And I wanted to cancel any future work. But they said they would charge me 80% of what was left owing for a year.
