Door to door sales people con elderly people into signing up for pest control services. Crews that come to your home only spread water around foundations. They spread undeclared substance on your yard. They sweep eaves. I have more bugs & spiders now than before their treatments began. As this company has fled Yakima County, they have sold all client lists to who knows who. I am getting calls from unidentified numbers wanting to treat the problems created by BROOKS.Initial Complaint

This business enters into a pest contract guarantee no monthly contract and lock you into a 12 month contract in the paperwork. Also they won't let you release after 1 year. I tried and got harassed for numerous phone calls for weekends on end. Despite having services. I tried closing the account and got explained numerous times how I can't close without paying a high closing fee. (Because they would let me out 3 months prior).Initial Complaint

I did not sign up for no 2 year contract or a year contract. I simply asked for a spray of my daughter’s unit at 1221 N. Peach and they continually charging me and calling me saying I signed a contract that I was not aware of. They tried to say did you read the contract. There was no mention of a contract when I called for a service spray. Then they tried to lower the price and change the duration. Look I don’t need there services and it’s not what asked for. They are preditory and once they got my bank account they just keep charging me. I feel they are scamming me for services that I did not ask forInitial Complaint

A sales representative came to our house wanting our business and informed my husband and adult daughter that a pest control representative would come to our house each month and spray inside and outside of our house and I informed them to take out the monthly payment on the 5 th of every month. The pest control representative only came once in December of 2024 for anb 5 minutes spraying just our front yard and porch area and hasn’t been back since. Company took out funds from my account twice in December, once in January and February of 2025. We called to cancel service was never informed that the pest control representative cames once every three months!! And that we were on a month to month basis. The accounting so called manager said that we had a contract with them for a few years and that we couldn’t cancel. Brooks Pest Control again never told us that our house gets serviced every 3 months. Nor that we weren’t on a month to month contract.Initial Complaint

Our technician arrived today to spray our exterior and I was home for the entirety. He walked the perimeter with a cobweb getter, and left shortly after. He never sprayed for pest. I called the office to reschedule, assuming he left for an emergency. They said he told them he did spray and it was just already dry. An absolute lie. I went outside when he left, shocked at how quickly he sprayed our house to see he didn't spray at all. I told them we have cameras and it shows that he indeed only did what I said he did. I said I do not want to reschedule service, because I don't trust that it'll actually get done without me having to micromanage them. No one wants someone walking the perimeter of their home that they don't trust. I was charged almost $300 for canceling, even though the man who signed us up for service told us if we are ever unhappy we can cancel at anytime. i I complained about the service being not so well and how other companies were offering a better service at a better price and I would like to discontinue with them and they continue to charge me and charge me after I told him not to and I couldn't pay them. A Brooks Pest Control sales representative knocked on my door and sold me a monthly service subscription. When going over the details, the rep asked me to sign his tablet without allowing me to review what I was agreeing to. He also failed to mention that canceling the service would incur a $250 cancellation fee. After several months, the pest problem not only persisted but worsened, and whatever they were spraying killed my grass. I called to cancel the service, only to be informed of the $250 cancellation fee.
When I questioned why this fee wasn’t disclosed upfront, they claimed I had signed a contract and that I was provided with a copy. However, I didn’t receive a copy of the contract until after I signed, and the rep never disclosed the cancellation terms or allowed me to review the contract on his tablet before signing.
Now, they’ve sent me to collections for the cancellation fee. I believe this is unfair as the terms were not disclosed, and I was not given the opportunity to review the contract before signing. I am requesting that they remove me from collections and waive the cancellation fee due to their lack of transparency and failure to provide the contract in advance.Initial Complaint

Started service May 2024. Promised a service every other month. Received my first service just fine and they got rid of my pests. I was supposed to have a service in June and I was charged. They forgot about me and I had to call and get a service in July. They did not send me a text or reminders telling me of my upcoming service. Someone called me at 8am in September saying they were there to treat my home and they would not treat because the doors weren’t unlocked and no one was home. I called the buisness and asked to cancel because i have paid $500 for two pest control services and they keep forgetting about me/not communicating when they are coming. The man I spoke to on the phone was yelling at me and interrupting me every time I spoke and told me if I wanted to cancel, due to their negligence they would charge me $250. I asked to speak to someone else and he told me he was the only person that would handle my issue and so I hung up and called customer service back to speak to another associate. He then called me 6 times and left me a voicemail letting me know he would charge me cause I hung up “for no reason” and “that’s what was gonna happen”. I requested 4 separate times to speak to a manager about the situation and no one reached out. He proceeded to charge me, even tho they set me up for another service and I agreed to continue cause I didn’t want to pay $250 to cancel and I would deal with it. They again on October 10 did not send me a reminder text and someone showed up not able to treat the back of my home but agreed to treat the front and said they would return to treat the back on another day. It is November 27 and I have not had any other treatments. They are taking peoples money and not providing promised services or good customer service. I have voicemail but can not attach.
