      Beware of Saela Pest Control. They tried to hard sell me on new insulation for my house. All I had to do was sign a contract, give them a down payment and they'd start the next day. Why is a Pest Control company ripping out and installing new insulation when they don't have a Contractor's license for that? Why are they selling that service to people who don't need it? Reported it to supposed manager in **** who couldn't even be bothered to apologize for the offence.

      Predatory sales practices. I wanted them to spray one tree with a lot of wasps, and they convinced me that I had to sign a bunch of paperwork that included a contract for 2 years, 9 treatments, and FYI you can't cancel it unless you pay 50% of the $1100 you owe by signing it. Then they sprayed my house and killed my good bugs in the back yard along with a few bad ones. I wish I never called this company, I only had a tree with wasps and I ended up with something I didn't need. These are predatory sales practices and they squeeze over $1100 from you to buy what you don't want or need. I learned a life ******* DON'T BUY FROM SAELA!!!

      Signed a 2 year contract for pest control at $119 per 3 months. Each quarter, the technician would ring the doorbell and explain what he was going to do. Two thirds of the time, the technician would then go back to his vehicle, get comfortable, wait 10 minutes or so, and then leave. When I called the office to complain about this behavior, they didn't dispute whether it happened or not. They just automatically offered a make-up service. Apparently it's a common problem. You can get out of your contract for $300, and that should tell you everything you need to know about how Saela does business.This company will rip you off. Stay far away.

      PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES! Do not use them if you have a bed bug problem. Instead of coming to your house and walking you through the three treatments they originally recommended over the phone to solve the problem, they make you sign a bunch of paperwork and scam you into signing up for an additional 2-year, 9 treatment, outdoor pest control program. They say this additional package was needed to guarantee the original bed bug program. Shouldnt your services be good enough to speak for itself instead of locking you in for two years? Pressuring you at your door to sign contracts? WowAfter receiving 5 treatments, we still found a few bed bugs crawling in my sons bed. For real?! After FIVE treatments and now spending over $800, we still are seeing them. We finally took matters into our own hands and took apart the bunk beds and found hundreds of live bud bugs and their eggs. WHAT?!? We bought our own spray and sprayed every nook and cranny. They kept saying that it would take some time Im sorry, after five treatments and 6 weeks and your child is still getting bit by bugs night after night AND then you find hundreds ****************** of the bunk bed, THEY DID NOT DO THEIR JOB! When we called and complained, they said they would send someone out to inspect. We were done. We told them we didnt want to see them again. They said there is a 50% cancelation fee on the 2-year program that they conned us into singing. Wow. Now we must spend another $250 to cancel?!? This place is shady. The corporate manager ******* even used the word SCAM when we explained it this way. Thats how we make our money was also said by her. For real?!? This place should be taken down. Any lawyers out there wanting to go after them so they stop preying on additional vulnerable folks?? Business like this are the problems in America SCAM! Do business with honest folks instead. Steer clear.

      RUN.... I'm done with these guys. Just say "NO" when they come cold calling at your door with their service contract.I seldom write terrible reviews, even when I have had a bad experience, but I'm so mad at Saela I am willing to take some of my precious time to bring to light what a fraud this "contracted" service is. I signed an agreement originally with Edge and the service was acceptable. When Saela bought the company, the service went downhill quickly.One of their guys came out to spray when it was sprinkling and the forecast was for 100% rain. When I questioned why he wasn't going to wait for a better day, he replied that they had a "proprietary " formula that works even if it gets wet. That couldn't have been farther than the truth. It pored down rain less than 1/2 hour after he left.The next time they showed up I mentioned that I had seen quite a few spiders. The guy said don't worry, we'll "take care of them". In less than a week, the spiders were back.I called Saela to cancel my contract. I sprayed myself with some ********** stuff and did better with the spiders than they did.I was told that I couldn't cancel, I would have to at least pay half for the last 2 services under contract. She told me that I might as well have them come out and spray since I would have to pay anyway. I asked to talk to a manager... she put me on hold for a few minutes, then said no managers were available right now. I told her I would wait, she put me on hold again and then told me that no managers would be available today, but maybe one could call me tomorrow. Of course no one called and my service call was charged even though I told them not to spray anymore.I can honestly say that I have never had such a terrible experience with a company that made promises that they couldn't keep.

      I will never ever use this company. I will do my best to tell everybody that I know that they are absolutely the most inconsiderate pest company around. They're actually a pest, in my opinion. We put up a no soliciting sign specifically, so I didn't have to deal with people during the day when I'm working from home knocking on the door. ****, their representative, mentioned that he read the sign, but he still wanted to let me know that there were wasps on my house. There is an old nest from last year that I knocked down that I haven't had the chance to remove completely.It shows you just how inconsiderate and unprofessional this company truly is. It clearly states no soliciting and **** could care less as he knocked on the door anyway. I simply said what the sign say and closed the door. In the event that I needed pest control services, I'd ask one of my neighbors. I certainly wouldn't hire Saele for pest control. I can only imagine how inconsiderate, and what crappy job they would do, since they can't even observe simple signs placed on people's front porches.

      I was a customer for 5-6 years. The longer you are a customer, the less they take care of you. Then when you are out of contract they don't tell you and just raise their prices by $30! I got a service today, told them all my problems and didn't talk to me when they left. I then walked the property and there were cobwebs everywhere, still had wasp nest exactly where I told them, had spider eggs, and they didn't check the mouse traps in over 2.5 years! I cancelled all services today and they would not give me the lower contract price. When I called to get a reservice, they said you are due next week so we will just service you now. At that point, why would you NOT tell me that my contract was over and the price is going up!! I would NEVER use them a day in my life again!

      I attempted to cancel my service until next spring, when customer ********************** put me on hold for a manager confirmation. I was on a perpetual hold, no one ever came to the line. Saela still showed up on the day that I had canceled (they called first, so we called the driver back at their cell number to tell him not to come and it was cancelled, and apologize the company did not comply). Saela did keep calling me, but were not able to get a hold of me because they only used one of two numbers attached to the account (The Saela customer portal does not allow you to update your details). So they neglected to use the second phone number on the account, and never got ahold of me. Two days later I receive an email confirmation of another service in a few days. I tried to cancel again (this time for good, this is not service) through their 866 number, which lead to nowhere. So I did get someone on chat who refused to canceled without a verbal confirmation- which I explained I had already given a verbal confirmation through phone and then was put on hold. This is going in circles. Im put on hold when I give verbal confirmation, the only way to get through is chat which asks you do make a verbal confirmation.This company makes it impossible to cancel. Impossible to remove your bank details. And their customer ********************** is frankly frustrating, you are run in circles (Im starting to think that is on purpose). As of now, my service still isnt cancelled. I have spent hours attempting to cancel (at this point, I should be charging them my hourly rate). I would recommend staying away from this company.

      I have been working with this company for two years with a mouse problem. I have spent $13,000 for attic clean out and ceiling of finished basement clean out. I still have Mice problem. They did not clean out the ceiling in the basement I can still hear the mice in there. They did not do the job properly and I have been dealing with mouse droppings for two years and Ive spent all this money. Never use this company they Dont do the job properly and charge a fortune. They should not receive any stars.***** P
