If I could give negative stars, I would.This company has been dishonest and extremely difficult to deal with. The first salesperson came to my home, was very persistent, and assured me that the $49/month service would take care of my grasshopper problem. That turned out to be false the service only covers the area near the home, not the yard.A second rep came out and admitted the first had misled me. He said he'd provide a complimentary service to address the grasshoppers and had me sign paperwork. I later found out that I was unknowingly signed up for a second contract, bringing my total monthly cost to $150 for services I didnt even want.When I tried to cancel, I was told Id have to pay 50% of the remaining contract even though I was misled by two different reps. **** offered a small discount, but only if I stayed in the contract. I kept being told conflicting information. One rep said my final service would be in March and to call back after that. I spoke to ****** on March 12, who said they'd come out again the next day and that I needed to call after that service to cancel.Then in June, another service was performed without my authorization, and I received a bill. I had already removed my card because I didnt agree to further services. When I called to cancel, I was transferred multiple times, pitched new offers nearly 20 times, and told a manager would call me back which never *********** one point, they told me I still had another service left, contradicting everything Id previously been told. Ive paid almost a full year for services I never wanted, couldnt use, and repeatedly tried to cancel.Customer ********************** refused to take accountability, even after all the documented miscommunication and deception. I finally had to tell them not to step foot on my property again. This has been a nightmare to resolve.Saela Pest Control

Warning About Saela Pest Control Dishonest Sales Tactics, Poor Service, and Terrible Customer Support I strongly advise anyone considering Saela Pest Control to think twice before signing up. When their sales *** came to my door, I explained that I had a poor experience with a company called Edge. What they didn't tell meand what I didnt find out until months lateris that Saela used to be Edge! That felt incredibly deceptive. Had I known, I would never have signed up.We were dealing with ants, spiders, and mice. Despite multiple service visits, none of the issues were resolved. I ended up purchasing my own pest control products and trapswhich finally workedunlike Saelas ineffective solutions.While they did offer to come out as often as needed, the fact remains: their service didnt work. When I called to cancel, I was hit with a $649.95 early termination feeeven though I had already paid $519.96. By my math, that should have left only $129.99 due. But then they suddenly claimed I still owed $389.97. Completely confusing and *************** make matters worse, I was in a serious car accident in September 2024, resulting in six fractured vertebrae. I was unable to work and told them I couldnt pay at that time. A manager called and kindly said they would write off the final $129.99, saying one less thing to worry about. I was grateful.But months later, Saela contacted me again saying the balance was not written off and sent it to collections. When I reminded them of the manager's call, they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. Total lack of internal **************** summary:Misleading sales tactics Poor product effectiveness Unclear billing and contract terms Broken promises from management Uncompassionate and frustrating customer ********************** This has been a stressful and disappointing experience from start to finish. 1 star***** to ****** a contract. The company insisted they could not do it by email and needed to do it over the phone. An employee of Saela did call, but still would not cancel the contract. The person kept giving me the runaround about how he did not have enough information to verify my identity and, therefore, could not cancel. When I started getting angry and asking why this was so difficult, the employee accused me of yelling at him, and told me that I needed to act like an adult. Would he have said the same thing to a man? I doubt it. It turns out once someone actually looked at our contract, one which we never saw until we asked to cancel, by the way, it had already ended. No fees could be charged.Rude employees. Impossible to cancel contracts, even once they have supposedly ended. Avoid this company.Review fromAlice S

We signed up for mouse control. At first I had a good experience. They came and set up the traps and explained how it worked. They quickly caught the mice. Then they had a service to come back and check. They tried to also spray every time they came back. We asked them to not spray and to please note that going forward. The technician always agreed. But then they would come back and we had to remind them again when they tried to spray. This last time we werent home and they sprayed. Then I tried to cancel the service and its impossible. 1 starThis company lies to you about there service. Had them come out to do a prevented treatment. After they treated my rental ( one side) they said they do not do a one time service, and I need to sign up for 3 time service at $150.00 each, but because it was half a unit they dicounted it $30.00. each time. Now I have renters that moved in and they have ROACHES!!! Which that was what I was trying to prevent from happening. Saela said that I have the bacic treatment service. Saela said they have GERMAN ROACHES which the service I have doesnt treat for GERMAN ROACHES and for rhat kind of ***** its a ONE TIME treatment for $300.00. Saela didnt explain any of this at any point. When I called to explain this to them and ask for ALL my money back ( because the treatment they use didnt work. There response was, we did the treatment you signed up for. AM NOT HAPPY WITH THERE SERVICE OR CUSTOMER **********************!!!Review fromAlbert G

1 starIf I could give 0 stars, I would. Back in 2023, my wife was approached by a salesman who came to our door and got her to sign up for a contract. After that contract had lapsed, we planned to have another company take over the services due to the ineffectiveness of the treatments. Earlier this year, another technician came by the house and spoke to my wife, saying that he was going to spray again. Nothing was mentioned about entering into another contract. Now we are locked into a 36-month contract, with the only means of escape being to pay a ****** of $1,300! The treatment straight up does not work; they were just out here, and my son is getting bitten by mosquitoes and spiders daily. We keep finding spiders and beetles in our home.We have called them numerous times to try to get them to let us out of this outrageous contract, to no avail. Sales people have come to our city harassing everyone about signing up. They ignore no soliciting signs and won't take no for an answer, even after telling them several times you're not interested. Most of us have to close our doors in their faces to get them to leave. Some of the pushy sales **** have even stayed out knocking on doors past 10pm... This behavior they are teaching their **** is completely unprofessional, and most of the time the **** don't have a city license to be soliciting anyway.
