  The door knockers have no respect for no soliciting signs. They keep coming and coming. I would ask them to leave, and they wouldn't leave! Once they have been told to leave, they need to leave. I should not have to ask multiple times to get off my property.

  They illegally allowed my spouse that I was legally separated from fraudulently sign as the homeowner without any documentation proving he was; and he wasnt the homeowner at all. Then they put a lean on my home without my knowledge preventing me from selling my house to move away. I called multiple times and I do not have access to the account even through the financer Mosaic and they would not take the panels or lean off my home no matter how many times I told them that they participated in fraud. Beware of this company. They are criminals.

  The ion solar team is knowledgeable, friendly, and there for you. I started Solar with the thought I was going elsewhere. *** sat down with me and explained the entire solar process just to teach me. He broke it down so it made sense and then asked if I wanted to see options. **** has been with me throughout the process. Checking in along every step-inspection, installation, you name it. Every person on the team always gives cell numbers and says to call with any concerns. I truly feel I am part of the ion family!!!

  If I could leave zero stars, I honestly would. This company is manipulative and dishonest, as well as being completely incompetent with the work that they completed. We were told that if we paid up front, which we did over $20,000 cash, that we would save so much money in the long run. When we initially turned the panels on after getting approval from the energy company, nothing worked because they had wired it incorrectly and had to send someone out to fix it. After the work was complete, I could see something was wrong with the roof. When the team came out to install the solar panels they admittably said they broke a 140 roof tiles, which seemed high. He even had to leave and come back, so he could go get the correct tiles to replace them. Based on how this all turned out, I think he was just going on a lunch break, because spoiler alert, he came back with the wrong tile. Considering this is a brand new roof, not brittle at all, it is clear that they did not have the knowledge for how to walk on roof tiles. After they left, I could still see tiles that were lifting and the wrong color. So we called them back out a third time. The gentleman went back up on the roof to repair the damage. When they came down, they said that they fixed everything. He then proceeded to try and gaslight me by saying that the tiles are the right color they just need to bleach in the sun. Our house is brand new and roof is five minutes old. None of the tiles have had time to fade yet, so this does not make any sense. We ended up calling out a roof inspector to come look at the roof and he revealed there are currently over 200 tiles that are misaligned and or still cracked. The solar company used bathroom caulking to attempt and patch some of the tiles. They used the wrong manufacturer and monthly are the wrong size and sliding off. There is not a shortage btw. They have taken shortcuts, lied, and tried to gaslight us. We are now seeking legal action. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

  I recently began the process of looking for solar quotes and had no idea how insane this process would be.ION Solar takes the cake as the most aggressive, disrespectful people on this planet. They have been bombarding me with calls over and over again, texting, leaving voicemails. I have told them verbally, over text, and left ****** review to just leave me alone.I never once opted to do business with them, I only wanted general info... But not to be called incessantly all day at work and on the weekends. I'm here now because I've received yet another phone call. PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE.

  On May17th 2025 I had a representative from Ion knock my door . I answered to the gentleman through the ring doorbell and told him No I am okay I dont need solar .Soon enough, I found out from another gentleman that he actually goes by the name of **** and his name is ********* ******* .After telling him, no I do not need Solar as he was walking back to his car , he called me a f****** f***** & a f****** b**** before getting in and driving away .I had already signed up with SunSolar Solutions ?? I absolutely LOVED everything about them from start to finish along with my 25 year roof warranty & 25 year workmanship warranty .I see a lot of reviews on here that were recently left after they install . Im assuming people from Ion ask homeowners to leave reviews .My brother went through *** a year ago, and I thought that was my company of choice until he started receiving $180 power bills every month, sometimes even higher because they undersized his system . All seems great until they turn on your system .I will be letting everyone I know about this guy, stopping by my home .I have the full video with proof !

  Door to door salesman and also very aggressive. Kept trying to argue with me last evening when I said NO I don't want ION.....he wouldn't take NO for an answer......couple of points from my experiences:1) NEVER buy anything from door to door salesman....2) When salesman are that aggressive, run, something is wrong!3) Never agree to something on the spot, always wait, reflect, and compare. 4) Research the company.....

  12 of my ************************************************** March 17 of 2025. The alert system that is supposed to notify me when the system stops reporting or has lower than expected production did not notify me for a couple of days. April 1st I called and explained I had a wire which was chewed by a squirrel and would have to be repaired as well as the microinverters fixed. I received an invoice for $250 which had to be paid before a tech could be sent out. Paid the $250 fee to have them come trouble shoot my system which cleared my bank on April 25 2025. They notified me on April 30th that a technician would come out May 15th. A single tech arrived to trouble shoot the system. It requires 2 technicians to remove any panels on my roof. The **** made some calls and left stating a team would have to come out to replace a panel and pull all 12 up to inspect the other 11 panels. A week goes by no calls. I called and they scheduled a team for the 5th of June and an adult over 18 had to be present at the house. On the 5th no one arrived. I called customer service to be told a tech came out on the 3rd. No photos were uploaded. The tech did not cone on the 3rd as we were home all day on the 3rd and saw no one on our roof. j

  ION Solar was on top of things from day 1. Communication has been great, always keeping me updated on everything that was going on. There were no hiccups whatsoever on the project and everything went as planned.****** ******* was our point of contact. He is very personable, and he seems pretty honest in his recommendations. He was always available for any question, follow-up, concerns, etc. Highly recommend.

  The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Salesman (****** *****) offered to cover first year of solar costs ($1420) and that hasn't happened and doesn't answer phone or return messages. System has been up for over a month and zero reporting. When you call, they just transfer you around left and right with no resolution. Waiting another week just for them to send a technician out. Do yourself a favor, go to Harbor Freight and pick up a solar kit, you would get more out of that system than you do a system from ION Solar.
