  An ION salesman knocked on our door in **** & started his speech with "I saw your no soliciting sign, but I still wanted to tell you about these solar panels." Not appreciated.

  Ion thinks they are the best solar company out there. They do nothing special. Except for charging way more than every other company out there. Their **************** is horrible, install time is way too long, and the communication *****. Lots and lots of lies. I could have been 100% offset but ********* told me there was not enough room on my roof. After I learned more about solar definitely knew he wasnt truthful. Stay away from ********* *****!!! He only cares about himself. Not a team player. Only tries to pad his own pocket. Ive literally heard him talk smack on **** ********* and *** *******. Very very arrogant.

  Amazing!!! Our sale rep ****** did a FANTASTIC job. He helped us step by step since the beginning. Explaing to us every single detail. The crew did an INCREDIBLE job, they explaing everything that they were coming to do. When installation day came they did a clean job and work was done perfect. Glad we made the right choice choosing ION Solar.

  One word: AMAZING! From the moment we met Mac, we were intrigued about getting solar for our house. To be honest, I knew NOTHING about solar, but Mac explained everything to me so that I could understand allll the benefits! Once we setup an appointment to look at installation, we met ***. *** is INCREDIBLE. The customer service weve received from these guys has been beyond all our expectations. We have a question? Theyre available to take our call or return our call quicklyALWAYS. We cant thank them enough for making this experience super easy. If youre reading this, let this be a sign for you to GO WITH ION! You will be in GREAT hands!

  Last year had a sales associate stop by and develop a report on our property based on our home size, energy consumption, etc. Ultimately, we did not move forward with the proposal because of the significant investment required (over $100k).Received a call from a different sales associate yesterday to follow up indicating their records did not show having met with both my wife last year (though they did), and I indicated we were not interested at this time.The associate was overly pushy, indicating they had much more efficient panels and could do our property, meeting all of our energy needs, with significantly fewer panels and that what the prior study indicated was overkill for my energy needs.First of all, anyone with a phone can research solar panel technology, and *NO* there have been no major advancements in this tech in just the last year beyond just the minor/incremental advancements seen in any tech year over year. Even if there had been, why invest in panels this year, knowing there has been significant advancements (and more could be coming, or with the recent major changes, wait another year or two for bugs and kinks to be worked out)?Second, this demonstrates they were fully committed to selling me a system, costing way more than we allegedly need last year, oh but now it's a good deal? Who's to say this year is the 'good' deal? Can't have it both ways, either last year was a bad deal or this year will not meet our energy needs. Which is it? Which?Lastly, the sales associate became argumentative when I called these things out and in the end I basically had to just indicate we weren't interested and come just short of hanging up on them. This is not the kind of company I want to fork high 5- to low-6 figure sums of money to put a bunch of holes in my roof to mount panels just so they can smile all the way to the bank. Their sales tactics are way too aggressive and I cannot in ******* recommend them to friends, families and neighbors.

  **** was knowledgeable and courteous. He made the process of installing solar panels easy and non-stressful. I was very impressed by his professionalism.The ION Solar team set my system up and followed up with me to make sure that I was happy. Solar allowed me to have a consistent energy bill and saved me money! I highly recommend ION Solar if youre interested in solar.

  After signing up in November of 2024, the one day installation was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 4 February, 2025. The team came but did not have all the parts necessary to complete the installation. Why even start???? I finally called on Friday the 7th because no one had called me. Completion date was set for Tuesday, 18 February, 2025 - 2 weeks later. The 18th came and the team did not show nor did they call me until prodded by their drywall man who had come at the prescribed time and completed his job. He called ops to report that he was done and to check on the installation crew. About an hour later I received a call saying they were not coming that day - would have been a no show with no call had the drywall man not called. The troubling part was that the agent I spoke to lied to me about the schedule and when I asked to speak to his manager he said he could not give me his number but would have him call - didn't happen. No word on a date by Friday and then nothing until the following Wednesday still with no finish date. Finally got a call last Friday with a date which is one month after the initial install date. There has not sufficient contact from *** to keep me in the loop. I am disappointed in the process so far and still feel like a mushroom - I seem to have to initiate a lot of calls and messages yet I am the customer. They are supposed to show up tomorrow and I hope they do but I will still have a sour taste in my mouth for a long time. More to come!!!!

  Company pressured us into product that wouldve been at 60% of what we truly needed. We had only been in the home for a month and based our electrical usage off of that. Afterward, we tried holding the process to get a few more electric bills to have a better idea what our average usage would be. Project kept moving forward with pre phase and because of that we wanted to cancel and were hit with a $3500 fee they would not compromise on but said it would be waived if we came back. Unethical to convince buyers of something they cant back and deceptive to keep going with process that would make them some more money.

  Working with *** was a pleasure. They made the process of getting solar panels easy and understandable. They walked us through each step of the process from design to installation, answering all of our questions along the way. They even worked with our HOA and township in order to fill out all of the proper forms and ensure that we got the proper approvals.They communicated with us frequently to provide updates, even if the update was that they are still waiting to hear back from the city about permits. They were honest and upfront about the whole process and what it would take to get solar installed. We couldn't be happier with the results.
