On May 15th I bought face product from THE SPA DR. without knowledge i was enrolled in a subscription which i would not do and prefer to purchase it when ready to order if i like the product.. i was charged on the 16th of June $127.20 for a product that did not work well with my face. when i called i was told that i will get no refund and they will not stop shipment of product because of a subscription that never authorized. this is very disappointing because they have a policy that you can't return the product for a refund you can't exchange because it's part of a subscription that I never signed up for. i am obligated to stay with something that i will never use and be out $127.20 dollars. that is not customer service and as much as i tried they did not at all help me... the customer is def not of importance to them.Business Response

I tried a skin care product for $25.00. The next month, I was just automatically charged $129.00. I did not agree to that and I did not get a notice that they were going to deduct this money from my account. In May of this year, I placed a one time order with The Spa Dr for Youthful eye cream and Age defying lift & tight serum. I received the product , tried it and did not care for it. I thought this was a ‘one and done ’ , but then on June 12, I received an email, thanking me for my order, *******-TR. I immediately contacted the company, bith by telephone and by email to cancel the shipment. I received the following. As much as we’d like to help with a refund for your recent order, our policy only allows returns and refunds for first-time purchases within 30 days. Since this is a recurring order, it’s not eligible based on our guidelines
I did receive a cancellation notice - I aldo cancelled my bank card, so they could not continue to use it. I received the products yesterday, june 16, and immediately contacted The Spa Dr to innitiate a return for a refund. I had to leave a message for a call back. Today, *** called from The Spa Dr snd after my explaining the situation , she ‘supposedly’ asked a supervisor for permission to process the return and did not get it. I have $120 + $8.40 tax on my credit card and I have filed a didpute with my bank. I told *** that I was sending back the product and I would expect them to refund it. This is a very hidden policy, as I have NEVER signed up for a recurring charge of a makeup/skin care product. Way too much hassle!Initial Complaint

I signed up to try this product and within 3 weeks my CC card was charged and another product was sent which was not sealed and had product (cream) leaked in the box. I reached out to the company requesting my money back and told them I would send the product back. They would not do it but rather sent me new product that also was not sealed and was different product. Thus is not a good product and I want ALL my money back. Its a typical ************* company!!! This business enrolled me in a subscription without my knowledge or consent. When I purchased a sample product, nowhere did it say it was a subscription. Made a one time purchase from this company. They billed me twice what I originally paid a month later and thanked me for my purchase. I never ordered from them again and I never signed up for a subscription. There is no phone number to call and no way to sign into their website to cancel. Emails go unanswered. I order once from them to TRY and the product gave me a severe rash so I never ordered from them again. Now they have made deductions from my debit and credit card accounts and say they are shipping me additional product. I tried to call them but no one answers. I emailed them at least four times and one response said they will not refund my money and said I signed up for reoccurring shipments, which is FALSE. I never do that with anyone one. I am 78!
