I purchased two tickets both with the refund protection for $108.64. I have emailed them several times and no response other than automated ones. They offer refund protection and then don't honor refunds. This is misrepresentation and fraud, they are scamming people out of their money. My next step will be a lawyer.Initial Complaint

The Lights Fest has delayed an event scheduled for the Denver area for months. I requested a refund of my tickets for said event back in November, citing that their policy states a refund can be obtained if an event is delayed by over 90 days. I bought tickets to one of their events on 11/04/2024, the event was scheduled for 12/07/2024. It is an outdoor event, the day of the event was raining and cold. There was no communication as to if the event was going to be held or not. Per their website the tickets are transferrable to another event. I have sent an email to the company several times over the past 2 months requesting to transfer tickets to the Austin event that is coming up this weekend on 02/15/2025. I have received no response from the company except that they have received my email and please allow 2 business days for follow up. I have not received any follow up from the company regarding transferring the tickets.Initial Complaint

On 9/19/2024 I purchased two adult tickets for The Lights Festival event in Colorado Springs, which was scheduled to occur on 10/12/2024. The total amount paid was $116.67.
On 10/8/2024 I received an email stating that the event had been postponed due to a fire ban and had been rescheduled for 11/9/2024 in the same location.
On 11/6/2024 I received an email stating that the event had been postponed due to inclement weather and had been rescheduled for 12/7/2024 in the same location.
On 11/26/2024 I received an email stating that the even had been postponed due to cold temperatures and likelihood of snow and had been rescheduled for 4/5/2025.

Purchased tickets for an event that continues to be postponed with no refunds given. It’s evident that this company has been scamming for a while now and getting away with it. Viive events is listed as PERMANENTLY CLOSED despite them actively posting events and taking payment for those events. They need to be shut down immediately.Initial Complaint

On October 23, 2024 I ordered tickets for a light festival to be held on November 2, 2024. I ordered 2 adult tickets, 2 children tickets, 2 additional lanterns and parking and fees totaling $236.62. It states on the confirmation email that you would receive a packet explaining details 1 week prior to event. On October 29, 2024 I sent an email stating I still have not received my packet via email. I never received a response other ten the confirmation that the email was received. On October 30, 2024 I receive an email that the event was postponed due to a fire ban in PA and the event has been rescheduled until April 2025 at the same location. I emailed immediately stating I wanted a refund because if there is a fire ban how are you rescheduling for the same location and it is 6 months from now. I did not purchase the additional refund insurance because it states on the website refunds will occur if the event is canceled. We knew we wanted to go so we would not need to cancel for any reason. Now the site has changed the wording on their site stating a refund is only granted if the event is canceled and not rescheduled. That is not what it said originally. I have sent several emails regarding the refund requests I submitted with no response. This company is ignoring my request and my complaint. This company should be shut down.Initial Complaint

Purchased tickets to The Lights Lantern Festival on 10/26/2023 for an event that was supposed to be 11/18/2023, also purchased refund protection. The event was cancelled and they said they would reschedule within 90 days or issue refunds. Neither happened and when you follow their process to request a refund you don't hear back. Event was rescheduled for 10/19/2024 in a different location. Yesterday they announced they are moving the Richmond/DC area festival to PA, which is a 3.5 hour drive for us where the original venue was 30 mins. This company is a scam that keeps moving/cancelling events without issuing refunds. There are countless stories on their FB page. They need to be shut down and people need their money back. Like any good scam company they seem to have multiple LLCs.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I received my refund but they need to do the right thing for everyone in this situation. There are many people that have followed their process for a refund and were ignored.

Purchased 7 tickets to an event in Dec 2023 in FL, got post poned 2x. Have not had any communication from Lights Fest since and have not been refunded $330! I purchased tickets on 3/25/24 to The Lights Fest's Pittsburgh lantern event scheduled for 6/1/24. At that time, I purchased their refund protection plan for each of two tickets: $38 x2 (base ticket price) + $3.99 x2 (Refund Protection Plan). In total after service and admin fees, I was told I was being charged $103.40 and was sent a receipt after the transaction. I was actually charged $103.53 (unsure why the discrepancy); however, I realized shortly after that I would be unable to attend. I followed their website's instructions to fill out a refund form, as well as emailed The Lights Fest via their info email address and never received a response. I was notified soon after that my refund was under review; have since emailed countless times and have never received a further response from this company. I purchased 5 tickets for the event in New Castle PA on the 1st of June 2024. Tickets totaled out to $282.55 because I purchased the refundable tickets in case something happened and an extra latern.
Which I did they line we waited in just to get to the line to wait in to possibly find a place to park took way to long. It was very unorganized and dangerous.
So left did not check in to the event or stay for it, as we as requested a refund for all that i purchased. It's been over a month and I have received zero response from the company besides their automated message you received when you send them an email.
