    I'm a customer, and while I feel like right now, the hassle in getting a new accountant is not worth it, I would never recommend Vyde to another small business. Their customer service is abysmal, they cannot seem to even respond to my emails. It's incredibly frustrating.

    I had a deeply frustrating experience with Vyde Accounting that I feel compelled to share. On Tuesday, April 1st, at 8 PM, I was contacted by ***** from Vyde after business hours, requesting my social security number via text message. This initial interaction felt unprofessional and raised immediate red flags regarding their security practices.After several days of back-and-forth communication, I finally managed to get ***** to call me. The delay in receiving a phone call was unacceptable, and it took far too long to resolve what should have been a straightforward interaction. Nearly 2.5 weeks have passed since I provided my social security number, and I'm still waiting for my tax documents.I wasnt even informed that an extension had been filed until I asked, which is critical information that should have been communicated. Additionally, ***** initially told me that I didnt need to provide my social security number because I was no longer with the company. However, I had to remind him that I was an owner last year and still required a K-1 form, which led to the confusing situation of providing my SSN after all.The lack of knowledge and follow-through is astonishing. Accepting personal identifiable information (PII) through unencrypted text messages and emails is alarming and raises serious concerns about their data protection protocols.When I followed up last week about the missing documents, ***** stated he would check on the status but never followed up with me. After reaching out again the following day, he mentioned that the accountant might be on leave and that he would request access to my account. A week has passed since that conversation, and I have yet to receive any updates or replies.This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering Vyde Accounting to think twice. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I hope the Better Business Bureau takes notice of their practices.

    I have made 3 different appointments with this company for business tax support. The first meeting, they called 20 min late (for a 30 min call). Rescheduled and they again called 15 min late for a 30 min call. They rescheduled again today and guaranteed they'd be on time. They are currently late and I am not going to reschedule again. ***** this company if you want responsive and punctual service.

    They are not professional and they confuse the customer by changing bookkeeper and tax audit assigned to you. I had to get my taxes done over because they left out a lot for me to file. Only good thing is that I got my taxes back quick.

    Horrible I didn't even know i payed for the service until i cancelled my **************** When i speak to the person on the phone they said they were willing to give me a full refund. Then i get a message from ***** ***** which is the billing manager of Vyde (formerly Mazuma) saying "It is our policy not to refund" I Never used this service and they have proof of it. She Masked it as a subscription based service!!!!Then finishes it off:This may seem unorthodox. Thats because it is. At least in the accounting industry. Our subscription model makes it possible to provide accounting and tax services to thousands of small business owners at a price they can afford. It also allows them to spread out the cost of bookkeeping and tax throughout the year instead of taking a significant cash flow hit to get it all done at tax time."Yea i bet

    I started my business in October of 2023. Vyde was recommended by the platform I used to set up my business. My actual bookkeeper has been very professional, but whoever is in charge of the taxes is dropping the ball big time! They filed for an extension on my business taxes. They said they were short staffed and couldn't get them completed in time. Ok, no problem. I filed for an extension on my personal taxes. Come October 15th, when the extension is due, I still can't get my form 1065. I need this form to add in with my personal taxes. Now, I am going to have late fees that 100% could've been avoided.I've emailed my bookkeeper and support. My bookkeeper said apologized and said he'd forward my message to the tax team, and I got no reply from support. I asked for a direct number or email address to the tax team, and that gets ignored. It seems very disingenuous and fraudulent. When money is accepted for services, services need to be provided, otherwise, that's theft. I've paid my payments and have completed everything that has been conveyed to me that I needed to do. I've held up my end. I do not recommend this company to anyone, and I am withdrawing from their program. DO BETTER!

    If there had been a NEGATIVE ZERO Star, it would have been selected; however, a 1 Star was the lowest applicable choice but definitely not deserving.I strongly advise against using Vyde. This has been an absolutely awful experience. Their poor communication and lack of responsiveness will cause us to miss an important tax deadline for which we PAID for services weeks ago. Their customer service is nonexistent. Despite multiple attempts to contact them concerning our Personal Returns, our emails have gone ignored. My Personal return was attempted YET Incorrect. I notified the Tax Specialist IMMEDIATELY Via Email (The only communication available to them) with no response.They clearly do not care about their clients or the consequences of their INACTION. If you are paying any money to this company for any service STOP Immediately and join me in sharing all complaints with the Better Business Bureau.This company should not be in business, as they have demonstrated they are unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid Vyde at all costs. It is October 13th, a federal Holiday is on October 14th and the Extension Deadline to the *** is the 15th and now we are left scrambling trying to find someone professional and reliable to do our returns after paying this company months ago! UNBELIEVABLE!We have asked multiple times if something was missing or if they needed any additional information to no Avail as I know their excuse will be to deflect to us - DO NOT BELIEVE THEM or Fall For it! DO NOT - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    I have been with Vyde since March, and in that short time, Ive had two different people handling my account. Unfortunately, I found myself having to explain to my accountant how to do their job, which was frustrating, especially as a new startup. Vyde is certainly not a good place to start for anyone looking for reliable accounting services.

    They don't answer the phone horrible communication you have to go to your dashboard an requests a call they have no regards to there customers they just want the money an they will tell you the best way to communicate with them is a email not true

    This was a good company until the name change from Mazuma to Vyde! That's when things went completely downhill, now everything is delayed or not done. I have 3 businesses with them, and waiting on taxes and my personal 1040 as well. Here is what I think happened:They made the subscription cheap, and then found they couldn't hire enough or good competent people with the revenue coming in. Probably thought they could have a huge database of customers that they could sell to H&R or PWC or some large accounting firm. Well, it won't happen if all customers leave now due to the service or inability to service clients.Bottom line - charge a bit more to cover your operating expenses, and pay the **** the market rate, and a modest profit, but don't s**** up operations or the business will fold.
