    We have, on multiple occasions, requested that this account be cancelled and closed. We have complied with each of their demands. They do not seem to be willing to cancel this account. We will not continue any further relationship with them.

    We our the owners of Pelican Garage Doors in ************, ******, and we were solicited by *********************** for the Local Pages, and we placed an ad with them to be featured in their phone book that would be sent out in March of 2022, we are now in 2024 and the phone book has not yet gone into publication. I have called several times and they have given me a different excuse every single time. I have asked them to return our money and to cancel our listing since it seems to be a scam and they have refused. I am at a loss as to where to go to resolve this. We paid them on Ocrober ************ Please help.

    I am sorry that you were not prepared for the timing, I understand that this is your first time running ads and magnets and the timing may be longer than you expected. The magnets purchased, which is the largest size we offer, and ads are already sent to the press and we are not able to cancel at this point.  We can delay the billing for the remainder so you can see these ads and magnets purchased before resuming payments.

    Hopefully this will give some comfort to know that you will be receiving what you pay for.

    I am rejecting this response because: This is the same excuse they have been giving us for over a year now. They have been saying that its in print for over a year. They have so many bad reviews about this, people saying they have been since 2016

We have been in touch with production, they have said these books along with your magnets should be out within a month. Unfortunately, there is no option to withdraw these ones they are already being produced.

    I am rejecting this response because: This once again is the samething they have been saying for 18 months, if you go and read their reviews, there are people that are still waiting since 2021, we want our money back, this company dfoes nothing but lie, and we reeived another bill from that doesn't even have the correct amount. I am tired of them and their excuses.

    I apologize the book timing was not explained at the time these were placed, if the timing is unacceptable going forward, you can certainly choose to not renew for the next issue. 

     The magnets are a premium product, now that these magnets are made we are not in a position to cancel. These are costly and after being personalized for your business, cannot be undone. I will send you a copy with a tracking number so you can track it as it ships and see these before additional payments are due.

    I do not believe a word you are saying. All I have heard is lies and excuses. Have you seen your reviews? Ask yourself why you are choosing to steal from so many companies? How do you live with yourself? Where is your integrity? Why has your business not suffered the consequences for being thieves???

    In Sept 22, I signed for services for advertising, understanding that it had a renewable option at the end of year, after I saw how it was helping my business.

    As of 10/18/23 Services have not been provided, no proof of services has been provided either.

    10/18/23 I receive a bill for $6,671.00 for a 2nd year. No one has contacted me about this & again No Services have been provided for the first year that has already been paid for.

    I called & the customer service rep refused to escalate my call and called me liar. She claims the advertising I paid of in Sept of 22 went to print in Aug of 23. Fully admitting that I paid for services over a year ago, that still have no been completed. I told her I did not want a 2nd year as there is no evidence that their services actually work since they haven't even given me an opportunity to evaluate them. She go aunry and hung up.

    I should not be paying for a 2nd year of services with the 1st year has not even been completed, no one called me to talk to me, no one has ever reached out to see if I was even happy with their services, mostly I am sure because they failed to provide the services to-date.

    In addition, their misinformed renewal/extension information states they can only increase the rate by 1% - I am only finding receipts for $3000 & they are billing me $6671 on this new one.

    They should not be able to force renew services when they haven't provided any

    The timing for books is usually more than 1 year from the time one book is published and a new one is released. I confirmed the book you are waiting for is at the press and should be delivering soon, if you would like payments delayed in the meantime so you can review the ads we can do that, just let us know. 

    The renewal rate is at a 1% price increase. Your payments on the ads at the press totaled $6600.00, I think you may have been missing the $3600.00 receipt. I have attached receipts for those payments made.

    The 1% price increase was only a price increase $66.00. I was out when you called yesterday, I did need to leave the office around lunch hour, but I'm glad we have been able to review this.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I am not interested in paying for incompleted services & I feel completely lied to by this company. I do not want to continue doing busisness with anyone that is this shady in their business practices. I have no ROI at all, I cannot get an ROI as no services have been provided. Its been an entire year & no services have been provided. This is not a good way to do business at all. 

    I don't want a delayed anything, I do not want to work with this company anymore, they are scamming busiensses out of money & failing to complete services.

    I was told when I signed a year ago that I would recieve a case of the books, I did get one a few months later, but they were not the ones I just paid for all the ads for. I did not agree to pay over a year in advance for something, the fact I was lied to about timing and publication is bad enough, I have been scammed out of my advertising money & this company has completly wasted it.

    I do not want to continue business with them at all or ever again

    Hi ******, 

    I understand you are upset with the timing of the book, and if this was your first year advertising I see how this could be a surprise, but you have ran ads previously and they also took over a year. You currently have ads in the last book we've delivered, and it was over a year from the time that contract was signed to when it delivered, as is nearly every book we make. Your 2 issue renewal was received shortly after this delivery.

    I've attached a cover of the book with the pages where your ads are in the last book delivered.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was never told that I would be paying over $12k for nothing before anything would even be done. There is a huge cost difference from the first one until now, a small number & being told that they were already out when we renewed & we would be seeing something from it, is completely different from keep paying us for services we still haven't provided & are lying to you about providing at all. 

    Not ONE person until now told us we would be throwing away advertising money for services that would be delayed 18 months plus - this is unacceptable. I do not want to pay any more money for something still haven't recieved & not one book has been delivered on. We were lied to to sign this contract & I am done with your company
