    As the owner of *******************, I had a very disappointing experience with **********. We signed a contract that mentioned a release fee but did not specify any amount. When we decided to end the relationship, they demanded $5,000 to issue a simple release letter with no clear justification or breakdown of costs.This is not only excessive, but it feels like an intentional attempt to trap small businesses and block them from moving forward with other service providers.We requested a written explanation, but got no reasonable *********** very careful before entering into any agreements with this company. Read the fine print and dont assume theyll act in good faith when the time comes to part ways.I do not recommend Fleetsmart based on our experience.

It also specifies that a Letter of Release or Buyout Agreement is available at additional cost upon request, reflecting the legal and administrative work involved in preparing these documents.This release fee was clearly disclosed in the signed contract and covers the costs of filing and removal. It ensures that the necessary legal processing and administrative steps are properly handled to formally close your account. There are no hidden charges, and nothing is applied without your consent.Fleetsmarts offers some of the lowest factoring rates on the market when combined with fuel services, along with discounts, insurance financing, and equipment loans. We remain committed to being a transparent, full-service partner and encourage open communication to resolve any concerns based on facts. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us directly so we can address them promptly and professionally.

    The contract does not state that a $5,000 payment is required to obtain a release letter. I am currently gathering all necessary information with my attorney to file a lawsuit. A formal complaint has already been submitted to the Secretary of State, who referred us to the **************************I do not recommend this factoring company to anyone they negatively impact your finances, emotional well-being, and business stability. I have all call records, messages, and the contract. Anyone in a similar situation is welcome to contact my company to pursue legal action.

    Save yourself and company some time and money. Don't accept their fuel cards that leads to a 1 year contract that you don't want for their factoring. They are very hard to work with, and their staff is very arguementive. There are no supervisors or upper management to speak to to elevate complaints to. In order to get out of Ucc go thru your Secretary of State and wait 45days instead of paying them $2500 plus waiting 45 days. Waste of time and money

All terms, including the *** filing and early termination fee, were disclosed in writing and confirmed on a recorded call. Due to file restrictions on the BBB site we can not upload the MP3 file, but we do have recordings and email confirmations verifying the agreement was reviewed and accepted.While we understand this review reflects the customer's current frustration, several claims made do not align with the actual record of communication. Supervisors and managers are accessible and routinely engage with customers to resolve concerns. Our team also strives to remain professional, even during difficult conversations.Its worth noting that some factoring competitors encourage carriers to dispute valid *** filings in an effort to bypass agreements. Fleetsmarts remains open to reasonable discussion and continues to provide a strong value through our fuel, factoring, and financial services.If there are any open questions or if you'd like to revisit the conversation in good faith, please contact us directly. We're always willing to help resolve issues constructively.

    I had ****** call me bc I was having issues with percentages and she went above and beyond to help me out and lock in a solution to my situation. She listened to my issues and she did a great job on finding a reasonable solution to it! I was about to throw the towel in and planned on leaving them but after speaking with ****** she changed my mind and if everything goes well to the deal we have setup I may actually stay with them. So time will tell but as of now im not planning on leaving them and im currently happy with them .Thank you very much ****** really hope your boss realizes they have a good one on his team
