5 starsI recently used Acclaimed Home Warranty to replace my hot water heater and I had a great overall experience! Once the claim was submitted they had a plumber out and I had a new hot water heater the following day. Despite me being a bit overwhelmed and frustrated because of this issue and others going on in my life, the staff was very helpful and my issue was resolved quickly. Ive been a loyal customer of **********************, with multiple properties covered under their plans. As a realtor, *** also referred numerous clients to them over the years. Unfortunately, my recent experience was deeply disappointing and has caused me to reconsider both my personal and professional relationship with this company.I submitted a repair request for a stove burner that stopped working at one of my rental properties. The property was purchased new just three years ago, and I had only recently purchased the home warranty for it on May 1st. As required, I waited the 30-day ***** period before submitting the claim. Once the tenant reported the issue, I filed the claim, and a technician was sent out to assess the repair and order the necessary parts.Shortly after, I received a call stating the claim would not be covered due to a preexisting condition. I explained that the appliance was fully functional until recently and that the issue had only just been reported. Despite my explanations, the representative, who claimed to be a manager, refused to reconsider or escalate the matter. I also reminded her that I am a returning customer and someone who frequently refers others to their service none of that seemed to matter. When I told her I would cancel my warranties and switch providers, her response was, I will gladly accept that.This is not how loyal customers should be treated. Denying legitimate claims and refusing escalation leaves me questioning their commitment to service and accountability.I am now in the process of transferring my policies to a different home warranty provider one that values integrity and long-term relationships.Acclaimed Home Warranty, LLC

Our goal is to provide our customers with the best home ********************** experience. In order for us to maintain that experience for every customer we must stay within the guidelines of the given service contract. We sincerely apologize that we are unable to assist in repairs for this claim.
We are happy to provide service to the items listed as covered as long as they fall within all the guidelines of the warranty. We can understand how frustrating it is to find out that a covered system will not be covered. Acclaimed has thoroughly reviewed your claim and contract coverage.
Per the contract Acclaimed's liability is limited to failures due to normal wear and tear during the term of the contract. If an unknown pre-existing condition cannot be determined, Acclaimed Home Warranty at its sole discretion will determine coverage. This contract was activated 5/30/25 with the claim opened 6/6/25. The failures found with the range would not have failed within that short amount of time and has been determined by Acclaimed Home Warranty to be pre-existing from the contract activation date.
Acclaimed understands the frustrations the most recent experience has caused you and your family. However, state regulation requires Acclaimed Home Warranty to follow the guidelines of the contract with each service request placed to be equitable to all our customers. It is the official opinion of **********************, that all the procedures required in identifying the service you requested were followed. Unfortunately, your request does not fall under the guidelines of the warranty coverage. This contract was cancelled per your request.Review fromJohn S

***** and his team took great care of me when my washer broke. They were quick to respond and get the issue fixed. What really is the point of this? I filed three separate claims. Two denied, one the co-pay was so high I could have just paid for it myself. I actually mentioned to my agent that I didn't want it, but he said it was useful. It doesn't cover anything. I think most of these home warranties are basically useless.Sellers spent $400 for the policy. I spent $100 to upgrade it and a $60 charge to look at the damage.All other claims denied. I have communicated this to ********************** in ************** as well as Metro National Title in **************. In order for Acclaimed to maintain that experience for every customer we must stay within the guidelines of the given service contract.
Acclaimed understands the frustrations you have experienced. We have thoroughly reviewed you concerns and contract coverage. We do show that a claim was approved for the refrigerator in which the water line for the unit needed to be replaced. Acclaimed covered the repair. You were responsible for the cost of moving the refrigerator from the cabinetry which is considered access. Per the contract, "*** is not responsible for providing/gaining or closing access to repair or replace a covered system, part, or appliance that is concrete encased or otherwise obstructed or inaccessible except where noted in this Contract."
In regards to the other claims you had made that were closed, those items are listed exclusions in the contract. Acclaimed representatives had attempted to call you on each of the claims to provide information on why we were unable to assist. Acclaimed Home Warranty does not cover for restoration repairs, such as those caused by the leaking refrigerator. The refrigerator light and the glass on the range are also listed exclusions in the contract.
As you will find with all home warranty companies, there are exclusions in the contract. State regulation requires Acclaimed Home Warranty to follow the guidelines of the contract with each service request placed to be equitable to all our customers. It is the official stance of ********************** that all procedures required in identifying the service have been followed. We apologize that we have been unable to meet your expectations. Acclaimed takes pride in being transparent with the contract and coverage we offer. We urge all our homeowners to review the service contract that is provided to maintain proper expectations on their warranty coverage. They just take your money, and then ignore the customer for the whole year: no response for calls/emails/voice mails/online claims on their "convenient" website.They were responding promptly via email when the question was related to initial account setup and our payment to them. After that - total ignore of emails/calls.Our claim on the website was there for almost a year in a "Pending" state and then was just moved to "Closed" w/o any actions being taken.Acclaimed Home Warranty, LLC

Thank you for your review and letting us know of your experience. We have thoroughly reviewed the claim that you had opened in July 2023. The claim was placed from the online claim portal for a rekey service. Acclaimed called you and left a voicemail to review the claim process for the rekey service, including a service call fee. We received a voicemail back from you in which we did call back and left you another voicemail. We also receive your email and attempted to call you again in order to complete opening the claim. As we could not get a hold of you to review the claim process and collect the required service call fee of $75.00 the claim was closed. This was the only claim you had reached out to us in regards to. We apologize that we were unable to meet your expectations.
