      I would give 0 stars if I could. First the claims manager **** and was very rude. Its has been 90 degrees plus and I have an asthmatic child and had to get a hotel room to keep her able to breathe at night. There is some type of confusion with the contractor and Acclaim as they are not getting each others emails for work order request. Unfortunately this is at the expense of the customer. ********************** is by far the worst company I have had to deal with. I would definitely not recommend and will be looking for a new company in the future. They never return calls when they say they will. If planning to submit a claim plan on waiting up to a week or more to get service because of communication errors between Acclaim and their contractors. Not sure how they are still in business with so many bad reviews. I will be posting about this on my ***** blog

      We have received your concerns and appreciate the opportunity to provide information regarding your HVAC claim. We are very sorry that the initial service provided was unsatisfactory. Your frustrations are understandable. During the summer months, our HVAC contractors are at their busiest, due to many air conditioning systems failing. Acclaimed and the contractors understand that your service needs to be completed as quickly as possible and work diligently to service all homeowners as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

      At the time the claim was opened Acclaimed reached out to all HVAC technicians in your area to ensure we assign the company with the soonest availability to schedule with you. Acclaimed Home warranty has made reasonable efforts to expedite your claim. Per the contract, Acclaimed is not liable or responsible for the contractor's delay in providing service.

      On May 2nd I made a claim, they sent out a plumber who looked at the broken pipe and said they would call back. I called acclaimed after no call back, they said they would call back. I called again, then again, then again, then again. They let my warranty expire, I never to this day have received a call back. My pipe is still burst. It should have been covered and I was ignored again and again. They have made no effort and are not worth the $500 my realtor spent. It's been a month, I tried to be fair to them and wait, then finally lost access to the website just so I could at least check if there would be an update. I talked to maybe 5 people who all said the same thing, that they had no record of me speaking to them and that they would get back to me. This is an absolutely terrible company, terrible customer service, they should be avoided since they will absolutely do nothing for you.

      I had an issue with my "extra" refrigerator. The claims process was very quick, the contractor was out to my home in less than 48 hours and the issue was resolved within the week. I am very pleased with this company and will be renewing when it is time.

      Wasted my money, wasted my time! I wish I chose a different company! Never fixed anything, just sent people to look at the issue and would never hear back from anyone. $65 all 3 times and nothing ever got accomplished!

      I'm in the process of trying to cancel my plan after only having it for about two months because Acclaimed seems determined NOT to cover anything. Their typical excuse is "preexisting" condition. Well, of course the situations we have sought their help with are preexisting...for we just bought the house! We didn't cause the problems that have come up. We had the house inspected of course before we purchased it, but none of the serious issues (i.e. rusting cooling coils for the *** were found by the inspector, who did do a good general inspection. The house is not very old and so we didn't suspect that the previous owners did not do a very good job in maintaining the house. However, we thought THIS is the very reason for having a home warranty! Additionally, it is incredibly difficult reaching someone at Acclaimed. I do NOT recommend this company!!!
