      I went in with my girlfriend after she order her glasses. She said to go there because they were better priced and were a good company, she ordered sunglasses and an everyday pair I ordered 3 pairs, an everyday pair, sunglasses and and safety glasses they told us we would get our glasses in 2 weeks.... 3 weeks later she gets told her glasses are there. She picks them up and upon getting them home she realizes she keeps getting a seeing triple effect in her everyday lenses. She complains about it and the person at the store keeps telling her there is nothing wrong with her glasses and that there wasn't anything they can do but when we brought them in he relises they ordered them with plastic linenes and that's why she kept seeing the triple vision effect. So they ordered her her lenenses, and they would be in in about a week..... as far as my glasses were connected mine would be in in about 3 more weeks. then I finally get told my glasses were ready go to pick them up and they were the wrong frames and they didn't fit my face correctly. Making then unwearable So I told them that I wanted the frames I ordered.....they said they ordered the correct ones and all my glasses would be in in about 3 weeks well my girlfriend finely gets her issue fixed and but they told her because of her having to Wait they would cover her future frames well months later after constantly going in to the store and annoying the employees I am told that as of the end of August first all the orders had to be filed and that every once would have there glasses.... so I go in August first still no glasses but a promise they would be there by no later then the 15 the came and went and I was with no word go In in September and am told they don't know when I will get my glasses but I would get them then this month I try to stop in to see if anything new has been said and there doors are closes no glasses and no refund

      I took my daughter to standard optical to get her some glasses and when we were there the told us o will take a bit longer since they’re moving lens manufacturing so i paid for her glasses and 6 weeks later i never got a call from them I tried calling and got no answer so I decided to make a trip up there and come to find out there all closed so these people took my money and closed the doors. What can I do to get my money back?

      On 04/25/2024 I came into Standard Optical Lehi for an eye exam and contact fitting. Immediately when walking in, the two receptionists just stared at me until I was in front of their desk, and even then, didn’t say anything to me. I started by saying “hi, my name is Cecilia. I’m here for my appt at 9:30”. They proceeded to hand me paperwork to fill out and said the doctor would be out shortly. Had my eye exam, had my contacts fitted, everything went smoothly. Then it was time for check out and to order contact lenses. The receptionist wasn’t rude, but certainly not friendly either. She said it could take up to 2 months for me to receive my contacts if I decided to order with them. She also said that in the meantime, I could come in and pick up free trail lenses in the meantime while we wait for my contact lenses to come. I agreed and paid for my order and left. Fast forward one month, I am in need of new trail lenses so I made sure to call beforehand to ensure some trial lenses can be set aside for me. IT TAKES 4 CALL ATTEMPTS to even try to get ahold of someone. I have been calling every month since my appointment to get trail lenses and NO ONE can give me an update on my order. The last time I went to get trail lenses, the receptionist was on her PERSONAL cell phone, talking about drama happening in HER workspace! She would glance up and me occasionally and then finally decided to end her call. No apology to me whatsoever. Just handed me my trial lenses. Now today, 10/10/2024, I am in need of another pair of trail lenses and my call goes straight to voicemail. The voicemails says “we are closed for the first viewable future”?????

      I purchased a set of glasses in July and was told 3_4 weeks. Called back and was told end of September. Called mid September and was told end of September by that time the store was closed. The number provides by the BBB to contact about orders does not work.

      Took $1504.16 payment for my families glasses on 4/6/24. After 5 months have not received any glasses from them and they keep telling me 2 more weeks. Now the business is closed.

      Back in late 2023 purchased two sets of rx glasses. We purchased the warranty for the glasses and need to get them repaired/replaced

      1st pair with warranty cost around $298
      2nd pair with warranty cost over $300

      Because of my diabetes, I must have an eye exam every year. I also wear contact lenses and I needed a renewal of my prescription. On May 13, 2024 I visited the South Jordan office for eye exam and prescription renewal. I paid $299.72 for the contact lenses to be ordered. I was told my contact lenses would be received at their location in about 3-4 months, the delay because of a distributor problem. I check on the status of my order the end of August and was told they were using a new distributor and it would be approximately 30 days before delivery. I went to the location in South Jordan to check on the status or to get a refund. The door was locked, with a sign that said they were temporarily closed, and to call their West Valley location, giving the phone number. I called that number, also the number of 5 of their locations from Layton to Lehi. No one answers the phone, or the recorded message says that the voicemail box of the called person//store location is full and cannot receive any more messages and to call back later, or there is a busy signal. I cannot reach anyone from ANY store in the Wasatch Front area.

      On August 31, 2024 after an eye exam I paid for lenses to be put in my current eye glass frames. I paid $458.86 for the lenses -left my frames with Standard Optical. On September 30, 2024 I stopped by the store to check on my glasses. The store is closed and had numerous ups delivery notices taped to the door. A refund is only partial compensation as they have my frames in addition to the $458.86 that I paid them on 8/31. I tried calling the corporate office but no one answers the phone number listed online.

      Company has closed its doors and phone lines. They have eyeglasses that I am unable to pick up. They have an email address contact on the door but there is no response to any requests.

      I paid for 18 months of contacts and have been waiting for almost a month for them to arrive. I called multiple times. Drove over to the store yesterday and there is a sign that effecitve immediately all standard optical stores are closed until further notice. There was a number on the door to call if patients are waiting for orders. I have been calling it non stop and no one answers. The number was 801-886-2020. I don't have a receipt when I purchased them they didn't give me one, but I used my HSA account so I have proof.
