      Ordered and paid for my sons glasses in August 2024. When I went to pick up the glasses the store is permanently closed. I was able to get a hold of a lady named ****** and she seemed helpful. ****** told me that they found my sons glasses in the ***** store and took them to the *********** store and that the glasses would be sent to me (I assumed sent via mail). ****** quit and gave me a persons email that was supposed to help me. Som (from the email) responded once and has not replied since.

      The number here does not do anything except give you two options that go to a fast busy. I have not received the glasses I ordered almost 3 months ago as per Standard Opticals statement that they would be shipped as soon as manufactured. Is there another way to reach the former company? Or steps I can take through the BBB for contact with Standard Optical? Thank you.

      My dad ordered glasses in August at their **** branch. Never received his order and now turns out they are all closed. How can they take peoples money knowing they arent going to honor their commitments?!?

      We ordered contacts in August of 2023 and still have not received them over a year later! We call every month and are assured that they will be here in a few weeks. We still have not received them. After looking at reviews it appears they are still collecting money and making orders when they have orders from over a year ago that have not been met. Absolutely ridiculous!

      I ordered glasses 1/5/24 and then ordered contacts. To date I have not received my correct lens order. The first lens came as a lined bifocal, was sent back to the lab. When I received the lens back I was having trouble seeing fuzzy for distance and couldnt see up close with my bifocals. There was a space in my bifocals where I could see distance better than the upper part of the lens. I was called that the lens were in 2 weeks ago. Went to take my frames to replace lens and they were CLOSED! I have been extremely patient to that point. They are jeopardizing my eyesight and am furious. This is not a supply issue now I NEED my lens!

      Have been a customer for nearly 20 years. Had my annual exam on 7/16/2024. My lenses needed to be replaced. The order was placed and the associate told me of a pending change with lens manufacturer. The prescription could **** * to 8 weeks. All phone lines to the store were either disconnected or not answered. A physical trip resulted in a sign posted on the door. The phone number given eventually resulted in a voice-mail that 4 days later has yet to be returned.

      To all Standard Optical customers! Sadly & frustrating after waiting for 6 weeks for my glasses, that when I called & havent been able to get a hold of anyone at the store and went by yesterday to see it was closed during business hours. I called my insurance and they have told me that all stores are closed due to bankruptcy!! I was able to have them cancel the order and will go somewhere else. Now off to my bank to dispute charges on my credit card.

      I've been waiting 6 months almost 7 for my contacts and glasses instead of giving me a discount for any inconvenience they leave me hanging they keep lying to me about when I'm getting the product I payed for some are ignorant and they still don't know about my order DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE COWARDS
