      I ordered glasses on April 5th and was promised 3-6 week for my glasses. At 8 weeks I started calling weekly for updates on my glasses. Every week I was given different excuses for why theyre delayed. Yesterday marks 14 weeks since I ordered them. I got no explanation and was told it would be the end of this month before I would get my glasses! My current glasses have since broken and are now taped together. I cant do my job without my glasses. I do not want a refund! I just want my glasses!

      My husband is incarcerated and was supposed to get his glasses through Standard optical in Bountiful UT. He has his appointment in Feb of 2022 and we have still not received them
      They were paid for by myself AND the US Marshal service and I'm supposed to get reimbursed fully!
      I have called multiple times to no avail! I called again today and was hung up on and I was lied to AGAIN about the glasses.
      I was PROMISED by the store manager, Karlie, that I would be sent a refund check at the end of May and I called today in regards to this and was hung up on
      My husband needs his glasses to see and has been without proper glasses since February 2022. This is causing him severe headaches as the glasses he has are the wrong script!
      The glasses are paid for by the Federal government and standard optical is refusing to send the glasses and refusing to give me my refund. I have been lied to and my money had been stolen and the business is stealing from the Federal government

      I have been to this business several times and they tell me three more weeks. They will not give me a refund because "the system is down". I payed over $100. I liked this business until now.

      I decided to purchase a pair of glasses with magnet sunglasses on March 18, 2023 (Order# *******) for a trip to Hawaii in May. The young woman who helped me was lacking in training. She never informed me my insurance was not accepted, did not know how to process Care Credit, and knew little about progressive lenses. I don't know her name because she couldn't even figure out how to put that on my printed receipt. This should have been a warning. It is now almost three months later and I have yet to get my glasses. No one informed me that I would be waiting this long. No one called me. I have had to call the store to find out what is going on. The first story I received was that there was supply chain issues with the lens coatings. That was for the first 2 months. I called again today and I am getting a story about how difficult it is to make progressive lenses. I have had progressive lenses made by another company twice with coatings and it only took a couple of weeks to receive my glasses. I am entirely unsatisfied with Standard Optical. I feel like I am getting a whole lot of BS from them. I will never purchase anything from this establishment again if I can help it. I just want my glasses before my prescription changes.

      Back on August 23, 2022 I went in for an eye exam to renew my contacts at the Harrisville, UT location. I was told there was a rebate if I ordered a year's supply of contacts so I went ahead and had them order a year's supply. The total was $300 which I am sure they have billed my insurance, I paid a total of $180.00. I was told they were about 6 weeks out. They gave me a sample pair to help me make it and was told to come get another if I needed. I have continued asking when they would be in and I kept getting the run around. As of today June 10, 2023 I have still not recieved my contacts. I have tried calling with no answer as to what's going on. I am at a loss and would like answers about what is going on. I have read other reviews about similar issues. They have taken my money back in August. I would like to get this resolved whether it's my contacts that I ordered or my money back. I am very disappointed in this company and the way they are handling everything. It's terrible because my vision insurance is only accepted here and I can't rely on them with my eyesight. This is such bullshit.

      I had an eye exam for contacts on the 17th day of March 2023. So did my wife. The same day we were given trial pairs of contacts and I gave them my glasses which were to be repaired under insurance provided by Standard Optical with in a few weeks at which time I was told I would get my glasses back with my new contacts. I havent had my glasses since the 17th of March and keep having to drive up every couple of weeks to get new trials. It is 110 miles one way and 220 round trip to my house. I just talked to the person at the store and they told me it will be another ***** days out its already been almost 90 days since I have had my progressive lenses which I would like to be able to use on my days off to read when I am not in the oil field truck I live in at work. Looking at the BBB complaints shows me that this was a problem before March and that in March when I was told it would only be a few weeks, that Standard Optical already knew they had a problem and they intentionally lied to get my business. I will be complaining to my insurance company aswell Seeing as how Standard Optical has already received the money for services not rendered in a timely or reasonable manner.

      I paid for and ordered contact lenses in January 2023. I've had to reach out to Standard Optical twice since then to be told they still don't have them ready for me to pick up. I went into the store to talk with them about the wait and was given a trial pair of contacts that were a different prescription. I noticed it and told the receptionist and she said it was ok that it wouldn't be bad for my eyes. Now my prescription is out dated so I'll have to pay for another eye exam in order to get my contacts somewhere else. Frustrating and unprofessional.

      We had eye exams and ordered glasses at the beginning of the year. We were told a couple of weeks to receive the glasses. I have been calling ever since and every time I get the same answer to wait longer and the that it should be 1-2 more weeks. I was told if I don't want to wait they could start a refund process. I don't want a refund. I would like our glasses. I would like someone to contact the location where the glasses are processed to confirm when the glasses will be processed. Then get confirmation once they ship and for them to monitor the tracking. Then I would like updates with the tracking number and this info so that I can pick them up when they come in. I feel like I've been getting little customer service and just getting told a repeat with not much effort being put into it. I shouldn't have to call constantly to get an update. Where we are now at 12 weeks I should have someone doing these steps for me. I don't want to have to go to a new doctor. This has been a very bad experience.

      I had a eye exam January 19,2023
      And had paid for that by insurance, then I paid in full 290 dollars for glasses and was told it would take two to three weeks, then a month went by called and was told the vendor was experiencing some delays so it would be a couple more weeks so two months went by I called again and same excuse, so I wait then finally 4,06,23 I got a text saying I could pick up my glasses so I go in try them on and blurry is all I see so I flipped the glasses backwards and looked through and surprised the vendor put the left lens in the right and the right in the left so now I was told they could send them back and have the fixed, I declined and asked for a refund on the glasses and terminate business with standard optical and Jake the sugar House manager said that want an option so I need help getting my money back or legal advice please

      We are sorry ******* experienced some issues. The challenge was that the AXIS which has to do with the patients astigmatism was off. The lenses were not backwards. The patient was refunded in full and I attached the notes and the return from our system.
