      My A/C went out on monday the 16th of june i went in Tuesday the 17th asked for a work order and she put that into the system. I then went friday the 20th asked if there is any update because i knew it was going yo be about 100 degrees and she told me no that there is no update that there’s nothing she can do that They’re too busy. It was Saturday the 21 i had to get a hotel due to how hot it was for my Son 101 in the house. Today the 23 i went in to ask for an update she told me that other residents had a/c problem that they will get to me when they can I then told her if they have any fan or any swamp coolers to keep my apartment somewhat cooler in the meantime until this gets fixed and she told me they have nothing to give me that they will get to me when they can.

      I currently live at the Paseos Montclair North which is managed by AMC LLC. we have 6 amenities here and I pay 2600 a month for rent and those amenities. 2 of those amenities have been down fro about a year, one for 6 months and now the gym and we are being told we don't know how long the gym will be down. My AC also has been broken for over a month and I complained 6 times and have it on writing to be only felt bad my management telling me im wrong, to find out finally after the 6th complaint there is a coolant leak in my apartment. Due to all of these issues and more than 50% of the amenities being closed, I believe everyone and my rent should be lowered. we are paying all this money for rent and nothing is open or working. I want to speak to someone in corporate to get this figured out because it's not acceptable and management here is doing nothing. I would also like to add we are in the middle of a heat wave, so it has been deemed unsafe and not comfortable not having proper AC and caused my AC bill to be higher and the company refuses to pay it , due to them not listening me and handling the issue from the beginning. also want to add we have no website and no way to report issues in the apartment if maintenance is needed or for emergencies due to not having a website and the portal app not being active that we were told to sign up for.

      Apartment management neglected to maintain the property we paid the last months rent and moved out to fulfill our lease and they are trying to keep ourdeposit, even though we were out before the first of the last month we were there paid the rent to fulfill the lease.

      The landlord and management do not care about your safety or well-being. I regret signinThe landlord and management have shown complete negligence regarding my safety and living conditions since I moved in. I regret signing the lease due to numerous unresolved issues, including holes causing water damage, a broken AC that makes the apartment unbearably hot, and a pest infestation. After four months of submitting work orders, my complaints have largely been ignored. Whenever I call, I'm met with dismissive responses, and maintenance visits have been ineffective.

      I also have concerns about my privacy, as management has entered my apartment without notification, resulting in some of my belongings going missing. Furthermore, my daughter's medical needs are at risk; our refrigerator is malfunctioning, causing her insulin to spoil due to inadequate maintenance response.

      I've reported these issues to the city, which has documented everything, but the management continues to avoid addressing them. Living here has been a major mistake,

      These apartments scam people out of money. They claim that they have cameras and charge you for it but there is none. We were told point blank by one of the office managers that they have no cameras but they charge us for the excess dumping anyway. There is lead poisoning, roach and mice infestation. Nothing is up to code. The bottom floors constantly flood. They refuse to pick up a phone and are extremely rude. When the apartment caught on fire they refused to find housing for the people that were displaced and they didn't fix the issue that lead up to the fire.

      Not sure if it’s discrimination but it’s definitely favoritism. I do believe that it’s also against company policy.
      The manager seems to favor her leasing agent and the people she associates with. The leasing agent was warned once before about fraternizing with residents but now has married an unauthorized person(not on the lease) that lives with his mom in an apartment at hidden cove. The same Manager that warned the lease agent before is the same one that has known from day one about the marriage and has failed to do her job as manager. Manager has only stated that she would not get in the middle of any of this. The manager didn’t report this marriage to HR which is supposed to be the first thing she needed to do. Manager has made all residents take down all decorations that were on or around their patio. However, the leasing agents new mother-in-law has been allowed to keep a baby gate up on the patio. The manager has failed in her duties and in her position as manager for not abiding by the rules, not reporting what is supposed to be reported, not making people do an application, pay a deposit, or anything. The manager displays heavy favoritism in this situation. Multiple times this matter has been brought to the attention of the correct people and nothing has been done in accordance or to resolve this matter. Why should anyone follow the rules or the policy of the company when the company’s employees who run the business don’t follow the rules or the policy themselves. Nor is there any consequences to their actions. Why isn’t anything being done about this. This is not right nor is it fair.

      Ongoing issues with management at this property. They seem to use predatory practices with their residents. My son and his friend were living there for a period of a year. The management did not do a walk though with us open check-out as requested. They sent pictures and a letter saying all was fine. The next week we got a bill for feces and flea remediation. When we called the carpet company that supposedly did the work, they said they don't even do the services that was listed on the bill. There was a dog in the unit for a period of time, but he was treated for fleas the whole time and is well potty trained (not a puppy). The management is so hated by people that she had her tires slashed while at work. I don't want to pay for what were are not responsible for and I want other people to be aware of this property's way of dealing with tenants. In addition to the issue with the carpet, my son's car was towed despite him being in his assigned spot. The tags on his car had just expired because I had sold the car to him, but he was within his 10 day window to get the vehicle registered after transfer. Management was aware that it was his car in the spot. When he went to pick up his car, there were several other people there who had had their cars towed from their own spots at different apartment complexes around North County San Diego. It seems very likely that the apartment managers get kick back from the towing company.

      Back in August 2024 I emailed and inquired about a PDLW charge and other expenses added to my payment ledger after a new management company took over. I received no response. I again inquired about it in Jan. 2025 no response. I recently inquired about it again this month on 4/1/2025 and a credit of $14 was given to me for a renters insurance over charge. I asked about how I've been over paying this whole time and have provided proof of me having valid renters insurance through AAA, that they even requested residents to update our policies to reflect the new Property name since they took over to be valid. My lease ends on 5/9/2025 and I have found a new property which they are now refusing to contact back for my rental verification blocking me in getting a new unit. They are now refusing to speak with me in person because I requested the over charges be applied to my last month's rent or with the security deposit which I now suspect they will not return with no context as to why. My security deposit was $500 my renter insurance overcharges equal $192 for 16months.

      We have contacted the business numerous times both via email and face to face about people breaking the lease by smoking cannabis in their apartment in I-101, on the property and in their vehicles. We have over 15 complaints spreading a couple months time about this issue. We have been told on NUMEROUS occasions that something was going to be done, that they have been sending notices to our neighbors, that they were going to do a 10-day vacate on them probably 10 times but they never have. Our neighbors continue to expose my child to their drugs. He's gotten visibly glassy eyes from the exposure and our apartment continually reeks of it after 10 PM. Please follow through on what you said you were going to do.
