1 starI purchased a 2016 ******* MKX on 7/27/24 in *******************. They sold with a broken windshield. Said they would fix it or replace it. Has not happened. 2 weeks ago I noticed a transmission leak. I took it to a local **** shop, I live about 2.5 hours from *******************, so it not conducive to taking it to *******************. The local shop determined it was a couple of seals. I purchased the extended warranty. *********** is the warranty company. They were given info and pictures about the leaks. They declined to pay for the repair as they determined it was a pre-existing issue. They said I had to take it up with the dealer. I have made multiple calls, left messages, messaged my salesman, etc. The dealership has not responded. I cannot get any response back to see how they are going to handle this situation. So, at this time (a month later), no word on fixing the windshield or the leaks. I am so angry that I cant get any response or discussion with anyone. I am being completely disregarded. Initially I contacted my salesman and told him I wanted to return the vehicle and get my old car back. He said he want would talk to his manager and get back to me. Nothing back. Its no wonder used car dealers have such bad reputations. I am absolutely disgusted with this company.Review fromArden G

1 starNot only are they extremely unprofessional but they actually broke the law when working with our car. NOTE: They are ignoring all emails and calls to fix it. I even got Ken Garff corporate involved but they refused to make it right as well. They did almost $8,000 worth of work on our car WITHOUT approval and never gave us an estimate. (this is against the law...) After the UNAPPROVED work was finished, they forced us to pay in order to get our car back. Since we were from out of town and traveling with a 6 month old baby, we had no choice but to pay it in order to get home. Not only is this terrible customer service but it's actually illegal. I am shocked that a place like this is still up and running it's a disgrace. People involved in this were: *************Review fromRagy M

1 starAbsolutely Terrible service at Big Star Cadillac. The service staff is unbelievably rude unaccommodating. They kept my Brand New car for a month with no communication and got bothered when I would inquire about getting it back. Unfortunately I had to take it back to them for a tire because I have tire coverage and they again told me one thing and did another. They sat me in the waiting area for 2 hours only to tell me they couldn’t fix my tire, they didn’t have a loaner, and that I would have to basically drive on the nail in hopes I didn’t get a flat for the ENTIRE WEEKEND! Extremely UNSAFE! Also what am I paying ALL these extra fees/costs for you all to not accommodate?! Very nonchalant and tried to make an excuse to why it took them 2 hours to do NOTHING! The fact that the service staff acts as if they don’t need their jobs or this is acceptable behavior is mind blowing. If they don’t restructure and get some new hires FAST the service department is going to sink that entire ship!Review fromTravus N

1 starMy complaint is for the service department and their ************************ ***. Would give 0 if I could. I took my truck in as the weld for the exhaust on my 2024 had snapped. When their mechanic looked he said it snapped at the weld and then proceeded to say it was inside outside influence. After this they "sent" the picture and videos to their FTO *** to see if it is covered by warranty as it should be since I'm not at ****** miles and the truck is only 4 months old. Their *** *** said it wasn't covered even though it is!!!! My wife contacted the factory for the exhaust to see if it is covered. Shocker it is covered. Took then truck to another dealer to get a second opinion and guess what it is covered. The service here ***** even with an appointment you'll be sitting there for hours just for an oil change and that's if they ever change the oil. Do not go here!Review fromNeel B

1 starTerrible Experience at Big Star Honda Unethical Practices and Rude Staff My experience with Big Star Honda was nothing short of a nightmare. From the start, they coerced me into paying for window tint as part of the deal, but then refused to let me choose the product I wanted. Instead, they cited some vague, unwritten policy that no one could clearly explain, which conveniently allowed them to choose the tint after the fact. This shady practice feels like nothing more than a bait and switch. The sales guy, *********************************, was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I questioned the policy, he not only refused to help but also made a small, yet deeply offensive racial remark comparing "illegal" car tint to buying a BOMB (....like WHAT?!?!) one could only assume he mentioned this because of my skin color (my family is originally from *****). This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in any setting, let alone from a car dealership that's supposed to value its customers. To make matters worse, ****, who is supposedly a manager, had the customer service skills of a worn-out seat cushion. His condescending attitude and unwillingness to address my concerns only added to the frustration. After a lot of back and forth, **** finally agreed to get the tint done, but I didnt even get to bring the car in for three weeks because they kept pushing me back. Apparently, someone was on vacation, but this was never communicated at the beginning of the whole deal. The entire process was a huge inconvenience, all for something I was forced to pay for as part of the deal. This experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth, and I will never recommend Big Star Honda to anyone. If you value your time, money, and dignity, avoid this dealership at all costs.Review fromAndrew V

1 starOn August 3, 2024, I visited Ken Garff ********** in *******, **, to explore options for trading in my vehicle and financing or leasing a ***. I was approached by a salesperson who insisted I could qualify for a 2024 *** and urged me to test drive the car first, without presenting any liability paperwork. The salesperson retrieved the keys for a 2024 blue manual transmission ***, which was blocked by an SUV. After moving the **** he left the *** in a narrow space for me to navigate. As I pulled out, the rear driver tire made contact with the curb. We initially thought there was no damage due to the tire contact, but upon returning, we noticed a puncture in the sidewall. The *** was dirty, making it difficult to assess its condition, and no pre-test drive inspection was conducted. When the financing numbers were presented, the deal felt unfavorable. I expressed concern about the damaged tire and requested its replacement, but the salesperson dismissed it. Feeling uneasy, I asked for my car key back. The salesperson and finance manager resisted, insisting I discuss the deal further. I noticed discrepancies in the paperwork, with the numbers not matching the salespersons verbal assurances. In the finance office, the manager asked how I would pay for the wheel. As I continued to express discomfort and requested my key back, the finance officer threatened to call *******************. I explained I had not signed any liability paperwork, but they interrupted and ignored me, causing significant stress and triggering my PTSD. I informed them of my disability, but their shouting and threats continued. One individual, claiming to be a veteran, accused me of not acting like one, dismissing my mental health condition. I reiterated my request for my key, but they insisted I wait for the police. Eventually, after repeated demands, they returned my key. I left the dealership shaken and distressed.Their behavior was coercive, unprofessional, and caused significant emotional distress.Review fromThomas T

1 starDefinitely a 0 review if could. Bought a used vehicle with very low miles( stew ****** gmc buick on *******************.). They Sold us a warranty claiming bumper to bumper all covered for 3 years. They repeatedly said bumper-to-bumper in fact they were so proud to offer bumper to bumper everything included, no deductible warranty. When i asked for a copy of the warranty to keep, they said dont worry everything is in the system for the warranty so if something happens, we would already have it and besides if something happens in the next 30 days, its on us anyway. Within a few days of having the vehicle check engine light came on. We drove it right to *********************. They ended up clearing the code saying it was a fluke and if it came back on to bring it in well, it came back on a few days later, bring it in That it was an emissions issue. Which they replaced and then told us that it was not covered on our warranty. Thats right the quote bumper-to-bumper warranty everythings covered dont worry that they sold us. My husband had to end up paying to have this fixed. The only thing that I can say is it good thing that I wasnt there because no way in h*** would I be paying and I wouldnt be bringing this vehicle back home with me. The way that this happened, speaks volumes into the integrity of your business and for that you will never see my business again, and I will speak volumes. Every chance I get to let people know what is shady, dishonorable, and zero integrity business that you are.Review fromPatrick P

1 starThis dealer uses deceptive pricing practices to attract customers. A car priced approximately $34,820 last September, 2023 had dealer add-ons which totaled another approximate $2000. The same car is now priced $31,016 as of 7/2024 and has $4995 of dealer add-ons. This is a deceptive practice and extremely frustrating to the customer trying in good faith to purchase a vehicle.
