I brought in a check. Inheritance from my father dying. They were so rude. Kept telling me that it was not good. Waving it around and saying it's too much. It was 14k. Not a large fortune. The manager told me that she will 'forget ' the check and do a loan instead. What the? Disgusting. Then put a two week hold. Only releasing 350 dollars for 2 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. So, I guess in two weeks I will get a new bank. Calling your customers chiefs is not a good thing to do.

This is by far the worst bank ever! They are rude and their staff has no clue what they are doing. This is at multiple of their locations. Not to mention they have closed locations here in *****. Probably a good thing since they are absolutely useless! If you are considering this bank just run away and go to literally any other bank.

Didnt report fraud, let someone take ***** dollars out of my account and now saying I have to pay it back. Police reports show I didnt do it but they basically told me and my husband to f*** off and we are responsible. Without permission the took all my husbands money and transferred it to the ***** dollar debt and continue to not work with us

The only bank account *** had my whole life. I was a big supporter of ****. Until i lost my job, got behind, and **** did nothing to help. They restricted access to my account, took any money that i could deposit and applied it to loans with out my permission. After now being caught up, my line of credit was unfortunately charged off cause i was unemployed for so long and could not catch up. Now that everything on my account is caught up, i still wont be able to personally access my account until that line of credit is paid off even though they sold it to a collection agency and i cannot pay them directly. This bank does not help people. even if youve been a customer for 25+ years. Good luck!

We recently reapplied for a HELOC through the local MACU in **********, ****. We had applied in January, and the underwriter then offered us a scenario that would pay off our high interest credit debt. However, the loan officer informed us that we only had a few hours to provide remaining documentation, which we were unable to do. The loan officer assured us that we could reapply and all our information would be transferred over. We reapplied last month and were told by the loan officer that the previous offer could not be honored, as the previous loan officer and underwriter "must have missed something". Their "counter-offer" (Note: This would've been a counter to their own previous offer) would've required us to pay off our lowest interest/payment amount solar loan first, leaving very little to pay off higher interest debt, and they would've also required us to bring additional funds to closing (which the previous offer didn't require). All in all, we are extremely dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and integrity shown by **** in handling our loan application.

I was very excited to see an18 mo 5% Cd at ****. I opened an account online and was rejected. A *** called and said he was confused why he was sent the rejected application. I asked if it could be that we have a freeze on our account and he suggested we unfreeze (equifax) he went through all of the steps I already did online. We had to take live identity photos to confirm. Mine worked but my husbands would not. *** suggested making the ap for just myself and add my husband later. You need to fund account with $1 from only a debit card which they charge a $3.99 fee. *** said to avoid fee ai should fund from external bank. My husband tried to open account he is 75 & almost deaf. His application failed also. Had to speak with *** to set up account. Had the same problem with linking accounts. Finally, got one bank linked but after a transfer it would reject the transaction. We called the bank. My husband is almost deaf and not computer savvy and I do all of our online banking. We called for help and the *** would not allow me to talk in the background to tell my husband what they were asking or to explain things to him. There is no place to designate a second ****** online and we live 30 miles outside of **** but are 300 hundred miles from a physical bank. The only way they will allow me to speak on my husbands behalf is to appear in ****** at one of their banks. This was after we asked to speak to a supervisor. They said they would try to give a call back in a couple of days to resolve the issue. We are both very upset with this process. All of our other banks have always allowed me to represent my husband on these issues. I am now looking into filing a complaint with American Disability Act which they are clearly in violation.

Mountain America Credit Union could not find a solution to verify my identity with their AI system so that I could open an account with their bank. I was informed that I physically need to apply within. This bank is in **** and I am in *******. I guess they don't want my business! There needs to be a solution to this. Can anyone assist me in opening an account?***** *.

Borrowed ****** dollars in oct 2018. 4.25%. I was at a 4 percent interest rate but because I went 72 months on my car they increased it to 4.24. Thats what my original contract states. I received a call from ******* stating I had disputed my auto loan 13 times due to transunion showing me at an 15% interest rate. Each time they stated it was resolved. I did a 3 month hardship deferral and 9 **** pays and never been more than 30 days late. Every month it states paid as agreed. Now my contract states 83 payments in 83 months. I dont know why they dont understand when you **** a payment you still only pay 72 months. Not 73. They claim you do. I have been paying for the car for 6 years 8 months and they claim I have another 22 payments. Makes no sense. Thats 9 years and an extra 3 thousand dollars in interest. I was advised at this point to contact ****. The credit reporting companies ******* and transunion have both advised me that it is that time. They both sent me every report for the last 6 years. Im disabled and this is very difficult for me.
