  Pushy salesman like others have noted, fell for it and got bad service. They have been out twice and we have had ants horribly. Inside the house (kitchen, bathroom, shower, pantry and closets) trails from one end to another. Outside bad trails of ants. Gets old fighting them! Kind of feel like we have been ripped off actually. Paid for something and got nothing, then had to pay a cancellation fee!! On the phone for over 41 minutes to get no where with them. Paid $400 in the end for some cobweb dusting. Not Happy. DO NOT recommend.

  Young salespeople using segways come onto property; ignoring no trespassing, and no soliciting signage. Aggressively harass property owners. Repeatedly trespass onto property when warned to stay out.

  This is a scam, they are pushy, misleading and kept saying they were changing our information and they didnt. Had to pay to get out of it just to be done with it. DO NOT USE this company. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

  I would leave NO stars if I could. They were extremely nice and the first visit went well. The second visit is where it started to go downhill. The technician came up with every excuse in the book as to why he couldn't complete the agreed upon service to include the spray was harmful to pets. We started to see spiders and ants in our home so I asked them to come early. The did a drive by spraying where they didn't ring the doorbell so they could complete the inside of the house. When I called the company, they told me anything just to get me off the phone to include that the technician would be back the same day to complete the service that he didn't do. I will never use this company again and will discourage anyone in my subdivision of doing the same.

  When I told the door-to-door person that I do not want to kill wasps, ants, and spiders, she said Aptive could also drive mice and rats away from my house using nontoxic means. It was a lie. A technician told me they use toxins, not essential oils or other non toxic techniques. I am now paying $199 to exit a contract that literally did nothing for me. I am also paying $70 for a visit that, because I told them not to spray my home or yard with toxins, again did nothing for me. When I called to cancel the service, I was told that I had to pay even though I was given an inaccurate description of the service. The no solicitation sign is going up since I am not smart enough to avoid companies like Aptive. I strongly encourage you to find another service if you are shopping for pest control.

  Employees utilize a bully/harassment style of sales. No respect for property (rolling up on segways through peoples' yards. No respect for homeowners (showing up after 7pm). They have been too personal with line of questioning (hey boss. how much do you pay? how long have you used a service?). Harassed my kids (where's your dad? are you alone?). Their services may be fine, but their sales staff are completely disrespectful.

  I started getting these young men that were going door to door over and over again at my house, despite telling them I am not interested. They seemed nice at first but are very aggressive with their sales pitches, they won't even let you get a word in. The last time this guy came he wouldn't leave my house despite telling him numerous times that I am not interested and that he needed to leave. He wouldn't leave so things kept escalating to a point I said I will call the police (which made him leave). I was so upset about this and knew that they would come back that I got a ring camera and a no soliciting sign. And of course, another guy came back and this time I have it on the camera with me saying do you see the no soliciting sign and he had the audacity to say yes and that he wanted to talk about that and then went on with his aggressive pitch. After reading all of these complaints I am appalled that this company isn't having legal actions brought against them. They are obviously a horrible company that takes advantage of people. Next time they come I am 100% calling the police.

  Aptive is the most unreliable company I have ever been involved with. After the first treatment, which I was happy with, I received a text with the date of next treatment. I was told by either AI or a person that someone needed to be at home. Because of this I rescheduled. The rescheduled date came and went and no one showed up. I contacted them to let them know that no one showed up and scheduled another date. That date came and, again, no one showed up. I contacted again and got nothing. Today I called customer service and talked to a representative to explain the situation. He suggested scheduling again which my response was would you schedule an appointment after two no shows?. The representative stated that the most recent appointment had been cancelled as no one was available to do it. I was not contacted via phone, text or email about this cancellation. Not sure how I would have known it was cancelled. I stayed at home the entire day, two different times, cancelling or rescheduling work and appointments, to make sure I was at home for their arrival. I have cancelled my subscription to their service and will not recommend them to anyone. I have never been with a company that is so unreliable. I actually wonder if it was all a scam. I recommend that you choose different company for your pest control needs

  Unhappy customer with the BAD pest control services they provided. I'm so unhappy with the service than i even paid a $199 cancellation fee to get rid of them but they keep billing me even after that.

  When we signed up, we were told if we needed them, they would be here same day due to the fact that we are both allergic to bees. The first treatment appointment they never showed up for they did not come out monthly as they are supposed to. Only one time they showed up same day second time I called on 07/12/2025 was told they called management and would call us back to let us know and we did not get a call back. I called back 07/14/2025 was told they would be here 07/15/2025 in the morning as an urgent appointment first thing got the text to prove this. Then got another that it would be 07/16/2025. We had a no show on 07/15/2025. This is a Breach of Contract on the company's part we were told it would be at no charge, yet they charged us the ****** and the additional ****** as a cancellation fee since my husband was so upset with the lack of communication and regard for the service we were told we would have when we signed up. Promises were made and broken. The ants are worse with the treatments they did provide, and they wasp nest was completely ignored on the end of our house. Would not recommend them to anyone at all.
