  The salesperson knocked on my door he was very friendly, it was a good deal because they were in the neighborhood. I was in a rush but I got ************ last year so I thought it would be good to get sprayed. We usually take care of it ourselves but I thought the extra would be good. I offered to pay cash because they were in the neighborhood they said no you have to charge it and then I was in a rush because we wouldn't have been and I were making plans and he's telling me to stop and come in the house and I was telling the kids to hurry up he's like oh just initial here initial here initial here initial here PS they said I am bound to a 2-year contract. Which is insane because I'm moving in the next 9 months. Also they come once a month and charge you once a month so it's 24 treatments. Crazy! They would not let me out of the contract unless I paid $199 for nothing. I cannot recommend them because of this I feel like it's a scam.

  salesman puts a lot of pressure to sign up for a contract that contains many hidden fees not disclosed up front. Ended up having to pay a bunch of money to cancel. Super shady and scammy business. Definitely avoid and go with an actual locally owned pest control company instead.

  They have virtually NO personal customer service anymore. The actual pest control was fine but when they miss an area (I have cameras so I see what they may miss) and I try to reach them, it's all automated now and impossible to speak to ANYONE! ***'T USE COMPANIES WHO WON'T HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS!! DON'T USE **********************!

  I would leave a zero review if I could. I was conned into signing up for their service last summer and have had issues almost every time they have come out. They are here for 10 minutes max and charge $180. And I still have spider, centipedes, and ants inside and outside the house. I specifically asked to schedule when I am home so that they could do interior and they didn't wait even a minute so that I could have them come in. And when I called him about it, he said he didn't have shoe covers so couldn't come in anyway. Like take your shoes off, that was the whole reason I rescheduled for today. Another time the driver came reeking of pot.

  I have had a contract with Aptive Environmental since May 2024. The contract allows for me to terminate / cancel the contract, without any penalty after the initial term has expired or after I have received 9 standard treatments. The contract does not contain any language that requires a customer to terminate by only calling from the telephone number that is on file with the company. Despite this, when I called from my work telephone number (my cell has zero reception at home), I was told by their offshore customer service department that I could not cancel unless I called from my mobile phone listed on my account. This, by the way, was after I had to confirm my account information including my full name, address, mobile phone number etc. The person tried to tell me it was because of GDPR, the privacy laws in place in the ************** that relate to disclosures of personal data. This is untrue. **** does not apply to my disclosure of my personal data to a company in the ** - I am also in the **. This is a clear attempt to make it as difficult as possible for any customer to actually cancel their contract. Surely, even had I called from my mobile phone, they would have come up with some other excuse. After they escalated the issue, supposedly to management, they said that they had to comply with their internal policy and could not transfer a call to a manager as managers do not accept transferred calls. There's a reason why people cancel their contracts with Aptive, and this is just one of them. Dealing with the ** folks who are offshore is a nightmare. Steer Clear.

  Salesman (***) knocks on my door (June 9th in **** neighborhood of ******* at ~11:20am). I politely answer, hear initial pitch, and say i'm not interested. He continues to push. I say I need to get back to work and that i'm not interested.He again continue to ******* I say I've got to go, bye. And i close the door.He audibly calls me a "f&$%ing weirdo" through the window and walks ********* this kid and stop bothering people. @aptive, the video is posted on your yelp. Enjoy

  Aptive was servicing my neighbor and asked if we'd like a "free" treatment, we said no. They said no obligation its free. So we reluctantly agreed, I showed them that we are DIY on our pest control and didn't need a service. Next month they started texting us saying they were coming to our house for contracted service. We said NO don't come, they said unless you cancel your contract we have to come. I called them and all they wanted was more of our personal information or else they couldn't help us. I said we signed nothing and don't want or need your service, They hung up on me. I am watching to see if they show up anyway

  ????? Warning: Deceptive Practices Stay Away from Aptive Pest Control Do not sign up with Aptive Pest Control. This company operates with misleading sales tactics, vague contracts, and zero accountability once they lock you in.A door-to-door *** offered a no-risk, cancel-anytime plan that sounded reasonable. What they dont tell you is that youre being signed into a YEAR-LONG contract with early termination fees buried in the fine print. I found this out only after the first ineffective treatment when I tried to cancel. Suddenly, I was hit with a hefty cancellation penaltydespite being told otherwise upfront.Their treatments were rushed and completely ineffective. I still had pests, but they insisted it takes time. Multiple calls to customer service went nowhere. Representatives either ****** the issue or blamed me for not waiting long enough. Classic runaround.Aptive hides behind a glossy brand and pushy sales ***s, but once they have your signature, youre stuck. This feels more like a scam than a service. Save your money and go with a ***utable local company that values honesty and results.

  Not impressed by the service. We reported seeing ants in the house before last service. We're still seeing ants. And, just now, I saw what could only be a brown cockroach in the living room. I've lived in this house for 15 years, and I've NEVER seen a ***** here. Of course we had Orkin for all those years, until you guys conned my wife into signing your contract. My wife who is currently laying in a hospice bed on the other side of the house due to cancer. Thank you so much for your failure. My wife called for service today. Your technician will be getting an earful when her arrives.

  Negative 20 stars. Door to door solicitors tricked my elderly mother into signing up for a 2 year commitment. She already had service somewhere else. They had her sign a docusign without her understanding the cancellation fees, and then were very rude and smug about making us pay the fee. They did not care that they were spraying a property that was already being treated. ****** the manager should be slapped and fired. It is a dirty practice to conduct business in such a deceiving way and then were not even understanding to the fact that they had confused an old lady. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
