After booking a cruise and airfare through this company for 2020 they postponed the trip due to Covid and kept postponing it until they offered to give us credit towards another cruise, and they said they couldn't refund our money. Then we get a letter stating they were going into bankruptcy and we had to use up our credits on available cruises (less airfare, which was never used), I now see they must have come out bankruptcy, since they are still in business, but there is still no refund available, so I can't stress enough to stay away from doing any business with this company.

I traveled once with a friend with cruise builders and it was excellent for the price. Shortly after we returned, I got some email advertising other excursions and found one my husband would be interested in. We booked it and then COVID hit and everything was canceled and we were assured that we would be able to use it in the future. However, they never offered anything similar and to use my credits it was going to cost me another $6,000. In the interim my husband was diagnosed with alzheimers and has just died. The money that they never refunded would go a long way to help bury him.

We booked a trip with Cruisebuilder for 2020. The trip was canceled. We were given an option to reschedule or take a refund for 19% of a $10,000 trip. We opted to take the reschedule. Now that we can schedule the phone number doesn't work. Looks like the company has reorganized and changed names?

We have the same situation like the others on this website no phone connection and no refund. Between myself and 3 others we spent a little over $12,000. I can't believe these people. Apparently we are not the only ones who got scammed. Who ever ***** this company should return our money and serve time. Fat chance of that happening.

Paid for **** trip and Covid hit. They will not refund nor give another trip. Have called with no answer and will not return calls. We were told at first that they would book later then it was you can choose another trip. Now it is no communication at all.

Cruise Builder is not a reputable company. We scheduled the Cruise Through History tour which was to take place in March of 2020, however due to COVID it was postponed. They kept postponing the trip for months and then after about a year and half of postponing they offered us only credits. However when we tried to use the credits we could no longer communicate with the organization, web site down and they do not return calls. Originally, we had asked for a full refund that they denied. As stated in our agreed contract if CB cancelled the cruise we would be entitled to a full refund. We called the cruise line directly and they said they had refunded all the money back to CB, so where did it go? Because they have gone silent we are out $23K! This is completely unacceptable.

My wife, my sister-in-law and I booked a "Three Temple Tour (******, *****, ****)" tour May **** through Latter Day Travel (VacationBuilder). The total cost of the tour for the 3 of us was $14,701 which we paid in full. On February 23 we received a cancellation notice and said we would receive a refund within 30 days. As of yet we have not received any refund.

Complaint against Cruise Builder (Latter-Day Travel, Vacationbuilder)My wife booked a cruise to ***** with Latter Day Travel, November 11 of 2022 and put down a payment of $500.00. The deposit showed up as an agent fee Cruisebuilder. On December 15 our first draft was taken of $1,520.25 again shows up as an agent fee Cruisebuilder. On February 23 we got a notice that stated:Dear *****,In recent months, VacationBuilder has faced significant financial pressure due to inflation and related increased costs for travel services. These inflationary market conditions, which are in addition to lingering impacts of COVID-related restrictions, have made it impossible for VacationBuilder to go forward with your scheduled cruise or tour.Unfortunately given these circumstances, VacationBuilder has no choice but to cancel your tour. In accordance with the terms and conditions you entered into, you will receive a refund within the. This will be processed by the same method you made your payment. We are very sorry that these conditions have forced us to cancel your trip and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.Sincerely,VacationBuilder The cruise that we had scheduled has not been cancelled according to the website and we have a booking confirmation number Interior Premium. Vacationbuilder, Cruisebuilder, Latter day Travel, cancelled their responsibility without reimbursing us our investment.I have tried to contact Latter Day Travel several times with no response. They do not answer their phone or emails. After doing a little research this seems to be a very common practice with this company, canceling trips and not refunding money, it seems like a scam.
