I have to agree with every customer on here. This company customer service was pretty bad. I asked for a price match that I saw online and they couldnt even ***** it. I called again later to ask for an RMA number so I can return it just so so can repurchase again since they wont do price match. On second thought, after reviewing all of this, I may have to reconsider repurchasing after I return it. Went through a hassle just to return and rebuy. Its so ridiculous.Cricut

Terrible customer service! ********************** had a known defect on the Maker machine which required them to extended the warranty on the machine. They failed to notify the customers that purchased the machine directly from them that there was a known issue. When my machine stopped working due to this known defect, customer service states sorry, even though this is from the known defect, it's past the warranty extension and you need to purchase a new machine.Cricut

I am livid! I have had a Cricut for years and recently purchased a Cricut Joy. I have called in twice and sent 2 emails which have gone unanswered! My account cant be found, I have lost 6 months of prepaid access and I have been told I created the issue when I didnt. The customer service team is unhelpful and rude. I have lost all patience with Cricut. All I wanted to do was change the email address linked to the account. This has seemed like the most impossible task to others! I should have been able to do this on my end. Now I am saying Goodbye to Cricut! I am going to give another company my money. If you are thinking of getting a Cricut, the machines are good, the products are great, but the Customer Support is AWFUL! I wont tolerant being treated this way!Cricut

I hate Cricut!!!!! Their machine can not be repaired so they are starting that I have to purchase a new machine! They offered a replacement but turned my half working machine off before I received another machine! I called back **************************************************** a new machine! Im so irritated!!!!!!! They stated that they can not turn my machine back on and itll be another week before I get a replacement??????? I asked for a supervisor and the gentleman stated he works from home so there was not a person that he could transfer me to. So Im stuck without making money, a machine, without compensation, without a guarantee that I will get another machine, and without a manager that I can contact. Ive been robbed by the company!!!Cricut

I don't understand how a direct to consumer and massive company like Cricut doesn't have a space on their website dedicated to viewing common issues, common complaints, and actually addressing them. That only leaves BBB as an option to express these concerns as I'm not taking out my frustrations against your poor customer support for following the protocol that you have set for the company. Upon one swift ****** search, I knew that customer support was going to take care of my very well known issue of the Cricut Maker lid malfunctioning. While that's great, why haven't they been recalled or fixed in the first place? I called, I was told that I would be receiving a machine (hopefully, maybe in the color that I have it in now without any choice in the matter what-so-ever) in **** business days. That is all "fine" (do I have a choice?) but I still haven't received my machine and I spent the last 4 hours creating something in design space and placing foil on my mats and when I hit "make it" I had a notification pop up that my machine is now deactivated. I have a surprise engagement party for a family member where I promised I'd supply the decorations. How in the world can you deactivate my machine without confirmation that I have a new one in working order? I understand not leaving machines activated to be used and abused by consumers but to have a policy not reactivating machines while support can see that the machine is still shipping is absolutely outrageous. How about a week ******************* period after the entire world has been dealing with shipping delays? WHY IS THIS THE POLICY? If the support person can CLEARLY see the tracking that they sent me and that the item is NOT in my possession because your machine continues to have the same issues, why couldn't they reactivate? This experience, and the hundreds of threads on Reddit and across the internet, have made me realize that Cricut is not a company I want to continue to support.Cricut

Wow! Reading these reviews is not very reassuring for MY case!!!Where do I start? My best friend bought me a Cricut Maker (from Hobby Lobby "**" ) for my birthday in June. As most Cricut owners, I was extremely intimidated getting started. I watched hundreds of videos. When I realized I wasn't alone staring at my Cricut, I actually felt better about my insecurities. Anyway, I'll get to the point. In mid-Aug I finally open my box, but something just did't seem right. The first thing I noticed was the machine not wrapped in plastic like in the unboxing videos. Then I noticed the missing piece of foam protecting the double tool holder. It was also quite dirty inside. My first thought was that my bestie probably bought me a used machine - no big deal.I followed the steps in the packaging to learn how to use it and from the get-go it doesn't work. I call customer service and I'm asked to send a video of what the machine is doing and they will call me back. I was also asked where the machine was purchased but I didn't have that information readily available.Meanwhile I messaged my friend to let her know what was going on and she sent me a copy of the ** receipt via text message. I called cust serv back and provided the information and apparently they can view registration history for the machine. The rep told me I need to go back to ** and have them exchange the machine because they sent me a used machine. I called ** and they have a strict policy of no returns on open Cricuts and the manager was astonished that any ** sold a refurbished Cricut. I called Cricut back and said ** would not accept the return. Cricut then agreed to send me "another" machine. They sent me a refurbished machine!!Now tell me...WHY should I accept A REFURBISHED machine as a replacement when my friend bought me a NEW one?Why is Cricut passing off refurbished machines as NEW? I call, they KNOW it's refurbished, and they're asking for pics and videos of the scratches!!!! Unbelievable!Cricut

I would rate this zero stars if it were possible. I purchased the machine to make wedding gifts for my brothers wedding. I ordered a Cricut Maker from the website on July 23rd 2022 and it had arrived later in the day on July 30th. While waiting for other materials I had ordered I unboxed the Cricut to start on the projects and went through the set up process. After the test cut I noticed that the machine was not cutting the material (small vinyl sheet included). I called the Cricut customer service first thing in the morning on August 2rd and spoke to a rep ****** that had me send a video of the machines poor performance. I took the video and sent it with all information needed within minutes. I was told that she would review it and call me right back. I waited until just before the phone lines were closing to make sure this was being addressed since I was on a bit of a time crunch. I spoke to a different representative (I didn't catch his name) that had put me on hold for over 20 minutes. He returned and said that he could see the video and was placing this order for a replacement and I would be getting a new one that should arrive between 10 to 14 days. I begged him to see if there were any other troubleshooting ways to get this one I had working, he said no. I told him that I was using this to make gifts for a wedding and needed it within a week (he didn't care). On August 19th I called again because I still had not received the replacement, only to be told that the person filing my replacement had never actually ordered me one. So there was not one on the way and all she could do was refile for the replacement again and I would still have to wait over a week to receive the new one. After more calls and hours of hold times I asked to be called back by a manager, still waiting.Cricut

If the Cricut is one year old, there is no support and you cannot get parts. There's no parts house. There's no where to send it to for repair like a sewing machine or dishwasher. Don't let it sit in the box: Use it right away. It's good that we are all aware, so you aren't surprised if you are expecting better.... for the price. Basically, you pay for one year of good service and support. So if you want to spend upwards of $400, plus $9.99 a month for access for a couple years, for a total of roughly $639, then use it for a door stop after you have a cache of materials, go for it. Just be aware.Support is another issue. Error signals are only to let them know whether it need replacing (within a year) or if it is dead. They take about an hour of your time, going somewhere to get more information. They, unintentionally, left a voice message on my phone laughing together in the background and saying they are toying with me in Russian. Since you cannot get any kind of support any other way, I assume the corporation is aware of this waste of their money. It's a good machine, while it works. Don't buy it unless on sale, to save some when there is a loss.Cricut
