This business is harassing me, they claim I owe them $90 from Dish as a debt owed to Dish. I have called Dish multiple times to ensure I do not owe them any money and Dish confirms there is NO DEBT. Not to mention this place has the wrong amount of my final payment to Dish. I have googled their location and it does not exist. Very sketchy. I called and told them to stop harassing me and they stand by their story that I owe them money.Business Response

Waypoint resource group has been falsely reporting an old account from 2017 the account # **************** was paid in full back in 2017. I confirmed with ******* but waypoint would not accept the Information provided even after providing emails from waypoint customer service email that they in fact can see I have a $0 balance. Fast forward 8 long months of trying to prove myself I end up accepting the settlement offer from waypoint resource group to pay the balance again being that it is severely affecting my credit score. I paid $191. 55 on 10/4/2023. I received documents from waypoint via email and mail that my settlement offer was excepted and I have a zero dollar balance with waypoint resource group. As of today 11/07/2023 waypoint resource group is reporting that I still have an open account with a balance of $103 due. I have disputed the balance and waypoint sent back that I in fact do have an account with them in oh $103 still. Even after providing proof from waypoint that I paid the account. I have since then emailed waypoint with no response to get this resolved.Business Response

After dicontinuing my Comcast services and returning all of my equipment to Comcast office on 7-14-2023, I received an unexpected email from "Complete Recovery Corporation", Reference ********. The email stated: "On behalf of Xfinity, we would like to thank you for being a valued customer. We would like to help you with your Xfinity equipment listed below that must be returned." The email lists the serial numbers of the equipment that I returned 7 days earlier. I received another identical email on 8-2-2023 and 8-9-2023. The company called me on 8-3-2023 and requested return of equipment. I told them I had a scanned receipt from Comcast PROVING the equipment was returned, and I asked if I could email the receipt to prove equipment was returned. They didn't want proof of return, and wouldn't allow me to send a copy of the receipt. I went back to local Comcast office on 8-8-2023 to confirm they're not showing outstanding equipment. they confirmed evertyhing was returned and MOST IMPORTANTLY confirmed they are NOT working with 3rd-Party company on equipment returns. Googling this company reveals I'm not the only victim they're attempting to SCAM.Business Response

I canceled my *********************** and I did not lease any equipment, but provided my own modem. I confirmed this with Xfinity in an online chat I saved. Three weeks later an email from Complete Recovery Corporation (a collection agency) states that I owe equipment with a serial number listed and a reference number of ********. I got on a Live Chat again with an *************** rep who assured me I do not have any equipment to return and to "JUST IGNORE" the email I have received from Complete Recovery Corporation. I request written assurance from Complete Recovery Corporation that this email was in error and my credit has not been harmed.Business Response

When I moved states, ******* asked me to return the equipment I had and mailed me new equipment to the new address. I returned the 2 pieces of old equipment to an Xfinity store at the end of January/beginning of February. I got 2 emails from Xfinity (one for each piece of equipment I returned) saying the returns had been processed on 2/22/23. I later got an $120 bill in the mail for them. I called Xfinity, they said my account was current, didnt owe anything. I then got a statement in the mail saying my account had a $120 credit. Went to the store, Xfinity assured me that wasnt the case and that everything was fine. Then I got an email saying I owe $120 for the equipment. I called Xfinity, they say to disregard it because my account shows all equipment was returned and my account is current and that it sometimes takes a while for their system to get updated. Only, I ts been like this non stop. Ive gone to the store 5xs and talked to customer service on the phone and chat for many hours. All they say is that all is fine and not to worry about, just disregard any emails/calls/bills because my account is current and Ive returned everything. Then today I get an email from Complete Recovery. I again talked to the Xfinity customer service who told me to disregard the email and that I shouldnt worry about it. Please, I returned everything I should have and the only equipment I have is what Im currently using and paying a leasing fee for. Its not my fault the company is such a mess. This experience has convinced me to cancel my Xfinity account when my current contract ends.Business Response
