      Purchased a bench made motion sofa from Bassett in January of 2023 for over $5000. It is a terrible sofa - you can not sit on it comfortably. The recliners are tilted to the side and the back pillows are so large they pitch you forward. Customer service has been no help. Do not buy this sofa! You will regret it!!

      my sofa fell apart after 2 years seams ripped feathers constanly comming out of fabric,the people in *************** ** knew of the problem within thevfirstvyear and did nothing.They dont stand behind anything

      HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. BUYER BEWARE. The salesperson, Tammy *****, in *********** ******* completely lied to us about the furniture we purchased. We didn't have the time to wait several weeks to custom order bedroom furniture so we bought some pieces that Ms. ***** said were already made and available to ship.
      Now, we are told that it will still be five weeks before we can get them because they are coming ALL THE WAY from California. Spoke with Ed (because Tammy ***** promised to call back and never did) and he said management says our only options are to cancel and pay 15% restocking fee or wait another 5 weeks. Cancelled because I don't do business with dishonest people.
      Bait and switch, deceptive business practices.

      Our Ready To Ship in stock items are given a lead time of 2-3 weeks ( Custom made to order 4-6). This is shown in stores and online. The purchase made was on December 16th. The items on the order are being transported from a regional fulfillment center where they were already made and were "ready to ship". The items ordered are actually in transit from California and could not be stopped on 12/21 when the cancellation request was processed. Based on this a restocking fee was assessed on the order. We work to honor all posted lead times and in this case would have provided the items under the timeframe promoted. We apologize for not being able to meet your home furnishings needs at this time, and look forward an opportunity to earn your business in the future.

      We purchased a sofa and love seat and upgraded fabric and to down cushions. It's awful! It doesn't feel at all like it did in the showroom. The furniture was delivered with dirt marks from the warehouse and we had to get someone out to assess it, but they said not to clean it as it would leave watermarks. I am going to pay it off and sell it! I should have gone back to ****** or ***** ***** like I did before. Don't waste your money.

      Another unhappy customer !!!!
      Bought a couch a year ago - ******** store . Sofa was hard and not what we e is Ted, but okay.
      Had indents in back panel of L sofa.
      Had service come out. Service said - this will probably happen again if it does just call . I bought guardian plan too. Well, it happened again, and customer service said -you are out of warranty. I explained this.was a preexisting situation that continues to happen. Would not service - said oh well, sorry . We could give you someone’s number fir you to pay to have it fixed. We also ordered a swivel chair - . Came in a mess. Cushion doesn’t fit correctly , chair crooked, sewn sloppy etc. Had service come out. Man said could not service. I had to argue with them to provide me with a new chair. Table chipped too-
      I thought Bassett was reputable- too many issues. Will never buy again !

      After looking for a couch for 2 years.. I finally purchased the Beckham sectional from Bassett in **** ** ******* **. I unfortunately did not read the reviews prior to purchasing as there are always complaints about something and nothing is perfect.. BIG MISTAKE!!! Everything mentioned in these reviews/complaints are facts. I’ve had my sectional for about a month, have probably sat on it twice. 2 adult household and already the “performance “ fabric is pulling and wrinkling. Which Bassett customer care kindly refers to as “comfort wrinkles “!! Are you serious? My 15 year old couch never did this. I was told to flip and fluff the cushions. ITS ONE MONTH OLD!! It shouldn’t be happening. they obviously know it’s an issue because pilling and wrinkling is specifically excluded from their warranty!!! I’m sick to my stomach about shelling out all of this money on a crap product. I can’t imagine how bad it will look a year from now. I should’ve bought a ******* (which the sales guy said was crap! Ironic) DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

      We purchased a $8,000 plus sectional sofa from Bassett through ****** ********* located in **** ********. We received the couch a few months early which was great! After 8 months or less the multiply fabric began to separate where the back cushions would normally crease. This condition continues to get worse and leaves a bubble texture which is visibly unpleasant. The expensive couch looks like crap. We contacted ****** who contacted Bassett. They wanted a cushion sleeve to examine and “test”. We sent it in through ******. After Bassett completed, their “testing”, they said we washed the cushion sleeves! They claimed there was evidence that we washed them but we didn’t! What a scam on their warranty! We even paid extra for the upgraded fabric! The company sells you crap, offers a warranty, but won’t stand behind it! That has to be illegal! ****** could also be in on it. They won’t stand behind the products they sell.

      They told me that pilling on my sofa fabric was normal and to buy a sweater pilling tool !!!
      My fabric was supposed to be warrantied for 10 years and the frame for life
      We’re 2 seniors and only one of us sits on the sofa not a lot of company on a regular basis
      They are a very dishonest company

      We bought a couch and recliner from Bassett. Had one previously and loved it. New furniture arrived last January and immediately noticed cushions looked worn and chair was defective in that each time you close the recliner, seat cushion gets smashed in it. Bassett reached out to ask if we were happy with our purchase and I responded “No.” Customer service called and I sent pics of defective chair and poor quality couch cushions that looked worn already - also chair fabric as well. She agreed. Sent someone to address issues. He couldn’t fix - basically told me shouldn’t have ordered that but told them he could try different things. Each time I call customer service for the past 17 months they say let me review this or let me talk to my team and get back to you. I finally heard back and they said their solution is to give me a new chair cushion at my expense! I tried to explain that won’t solve the problem or resolve the issues. So disappointed. Paid over $10,000 and the quality and customer service is no where near what it used to be. Sadly, I can no longer recommend Bassett.
