I bought an outdoor sectional off the floor on clearance. Spent thousands of dollars. Kat explained the warranty to me at that time. Handed me the outdoor furniture warranty brochure. Even registered a 5 year fabric protection plan with a service agreement. I have had it a couple months and the arms are scratched up and the zipper broke the guest time i washed the cushion and tried to put back on. Had the service man out that told me that coating couldn’t do that. Bassett wants to blame my dogs which did not cause any scratches or damage to the frame according to their own repair person. They do not stand behind their products and the warranty is crap. I will never purchase anything from them again. I feel completely duped by Kat. I spoke with the repair person that was here and what was in the report she read to me he said her didn’t write. Buyers beware. They are dishonest and don’t stand behind their products.Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your concerns. The set purchased was an as is clearance/ Floor sample. The protection plan which extends the manufacturer's warranty and covers accidents or incidents was declined at time of purchased.
Though this was an as is item Bassett dispatched a technician to assist with any concerns. A replacement cover is on order to assist with the cover with the broken zipper and the consumers concerns with the wear of the piece overtime and how it has held up in her home are being examined by our factory team for follow up.
Thank you

3 starsWe've bought plenty of furniture from Bassett and have been very happy. Its been great quality and durable. We purchased a made-to-order leather sofa with recliners in 2020. In May 2023 one of the motors broke. Luckily we had purchased a warranty. It has been a horrible experience. They outsource this service. You can't talk to a real person. They don't show up when they say they are coming. Its going on 5 months now and still not fixed. This is ridiculous. Beware of buying furniture at Bassett with motors! The Customer Service is terrible.Review fromNeal F

1 starAfter a couple months of having a couch, it started showing wear immediately. I emailed them and sent photo and they didn’t respond. I sent a total of 3 emails over a month without them responding.I went through the process again months later with bare minimum responses being sent from an automated system. Eventually they requested a fabric sample and then determined that it was completely fine( it was extremely worn out despite being a months old couch.) When they finally sent someone to look at the couch the serviceman offered to “steam out” a wrinkle like it could’ve fixed collapsing foam. Vital parts of the couch are also not covered in the warranty. Don’t buy anything from Bassett.Review fromShelley H

I ordered furniture from Bassett Furniture in ******** ****. I paid 3,000 and then another 2,118 which paid for all furniture, taxes and delivery. I paid on a ********* account specifically for Bassett which I then paid in full. I never received any furniture. I then get a DocuSign from Susan ****** for me to sign “not to delay delivery”. When I read though the document she said I owed 6400. I call the story and she stated she doesn’t know “why the computer said that” and told me “it must be extra delivery fees” and to pay it and I would be refunded later. I said absolutely not, I’m not signing that (still never received any furniture) and said I wanted to cancel. I asked Susan how I would’ve be refunded and she said I COULDNT because it was a custom order! It was NOT a custom order. Then she hangs up on me! Then the manager Holly leaves a voicemail saying “I hear there’s an issue and you want to cancel your order, please call me” and I had no interest in dealing with them at that point. I call and dispute the charges with *********. Then 3 days later I get an email from Susan saying “I knocked your on a timeline so please schedule your delivery for your furniture”. I was furious! Then I received an “update” for my furniture delivery!! They have REFUSED to refund me. I call Ben a customer service representative to file a complaint who reached out to Susan and Holly who CONFIRMED I wanted my order cancelled but refused to do it!!! This is the most disgusting company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT ever buy from Bassett Furniture!!Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc.

1 starPlaced an order for a sofa and material, nearly $4,000 - In January, it was delivered Feb. sofa had major issues, stains, wrong cushions, and tension wrong - looks worse than the sofa I gave away.
The salesperson visited - agreed it was unacceptable - sent emails and photos - Bassett agreed it should not have left the factory.
Each time I call - they say they will respond in 24 - 48 hrs - takes weeks to hear anything.
Fast forward to June - numerous calls and still no satisfaction - offering replacement or reselection. Have lost all confidence.
This is totally unacceptable.
Never again will we purchase anything from this company.Review fromJackie T

Bassett is the absolute worst! Purchased over $6,000 in furniture. Waited 4 months for delivery and when the furniture finally arrived there were rips, tears and holes in the furniture. Cushions, pillows were not properly filled with foam/stuffing or whatever you call the stuff inside pillows and cushions. I will NEVER purchase another product from this lousy furniture maker. So much for made in the USA.Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc.

1 starI bought a custom leather Love Seat Recliner it was delivered in September it worked fine until late February. It has two chambers that recliner pillows and feet the pillow part died and is stuck in the open position pulling on the leather.
The right side motor died. I called Bassett Customer Service and they sent the most horrible repair person I ever met who says Bassett must order parts a new motor and switch. I wait two weeks the motor is delivered to my house I wait another two weeks and a different repair man shows up and says they ordered the wrong part. So now it’s April and I still haven’t got a repair man to the house. I keep calling the leather company and they give me the run around. I call Bassett Customer Service and I get the run around.Review fromHarvey B

1 starDon't be fooled, most everything they sell is imported junk. No better than ***** ** ** or other run of the mill furniture stores. Their prices are a rip off for the quality of furniture and their customer service is no better (maybe worse) than *******.Review fromTonia W.

1 starI purchased six pieces from Bassett for a bedroom on 11/22/2022, one being a dresser. After the furniture was delivered and the delivery crew left I discovered a nail protruding on the inside of one of the drawers and a black oily substance on the insides of each drawer that could not be cleaned off. The cedar lined drawers had a film of cedar that could also not be cleaned. The delivery crew had also hidden two large holes, on the back of the dresser when they placed it against the wall. Bassett agreed to replace the dresser. The replacement dresser arrived and the velvet lining on the second dresser as well as the inside of the drawers has the same black oily substance that cannot be cleaned off. The cedar lined drawers also cannot be cleaned. It is basically the same as the first dresser. The drawers are unusable as they are. Also, the delivery crew for the second dresser was careless and damaged the corner of the wall during delivery. I contacted Bassett and they offered to bring back the first dresser which I was told had been repaired. However, no one could tell me if the black substance remained or if the nail had been removed and how the hole in the drawer was repaired, only that the back had been replaced. I don't want a dresser, that should be new, that had so much damage anyway. To avoid additional damage to my walls and because the furniture is apparently defective, I have requested a technician to come to the home to clean the interior of the furniture and replace the velvet lining. I have yet to receive a call to be put on the schedule. When I called about this, I was told the technician would call when he could. I have now spent several thousand dollars on furniture and have a dresser that cannot be used. Bassett has side lined me. I can keep waiting, keep calling, or hire someone to assist me with Bassett. This is not the way a furniture purchase should work.Review fromTimothy V.

My wife and I bought a sofa and chair and a half from Bassett. After 4 months the middle of the sofa broke almost in two pieces. We bought it from ******* **** ********* at the ******* ********* ****. We bought the Furniture protection plan for extra that was advertised as a Bassett product. ******* **** took the sofa back and come to find out the back of the sofa was broken on the frame as well as the front. After 3 weeks the sofa was returned to us. The sofa was noticeably covered in dirt and grim that was not there when they took it. Also the front of the frame was not fixed and was still cracked and slumped in the middle. We would like our money back because at this point the sofa is just glued back together and will break again. We are not large people either or have kids or dogs on the sofa.Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc.
