On Wednesday 12/07/2022, I placed an order with the company. I have called the sales line, the wholesale line, and the customer service line more than ten times per day every day since. I have left multiple voicemails per day. I have not received a call back. None of my calls was ever answered. I am attempting to cancel my order and get a full refund. The only resolution I will accept is a full refund of my order. I also believe that I should be compensated for my time, as I have spent hours and hours attempting to reach this company.Initial Complaint

I purchased items (2 salt lamps) from the business. When I received the items they were missing pieces (a base and light bulb). I emailed the business in which I received an email response that said they would forward my concern to their warehouse manager before they could process replacements. The business will no longer respond to emails. I’ve also tried calling but its always sent to a voicemail (I've left messages). They will not return my phone call. I've since seen several complaints in which they stopped responding to other customers and did not fix their mistakes.Customer Answer

The email I received from the BBB is confusing to respond to in order to inform the BBB that the company did finally send an email and try to fix their mistake. As of yesterday, they sent bulb replacements for the 2 lamps I ordered. They also stated in the email that they sent to 2 different designs due to their shipment and that only one required a base.Yes, the issue is now resolved although the company needs better customer service.

Bought a ***** Salt Lamp from the Himalayan Trading Co and when I received it the ***** was defective. I emailed the Co and told them about the defective ***** Salt Lamp and the Co requested me to take a picture of the lamp and send them to them which I did. Than I sent the Co many emails requesting them to send me a new ***** Salt Lamp. Finally the Co asked me to send them back the ***** Salt Lamp. I sent the ***** Salt Lamp by Certified Mail on 6 October. I contacted the Post Office and they told me that no one picked up the ***** Salt Lamp on 13 October. The Post Office told me they were going to try to resend the ***** Salt Lamp on 28 October. I asked the Co to let me know when they received the ***** Salt Lamp and didn’t get any response from the Co. My final email asked for a refund.Initial Complaint

I ordered 4 Himalayan salt lamps. The website stated they would be 10 - 12 inches tall each for XL (which is what I ordered) 180.00 dollars. And the weight 10 - 12 pounds each. That is not what I received. I have pictures showing the height (the box they came in & the lamp) the lamp 81/2 inches & the box 9 1/2 inches. The weight of each one is not between 10-12 pounds. When I brought this to their attention….they told me to weigh each one & that they don’t go by “height”. They have since taken the height part off their website (conveniently). The box it came in with 4 lamps states right on the shipping label the weight of the box is 16 pounds. It should weigh 40 pounds at the very least. I will weigh each lamp as they requested. But I’m sure that box did not weigh 40 plus pounds. I ordered the lamps because of the height - not the weight, anyway.Initial Complaint

Ordered a lamp online on 7/20/22 and paid $59.37 Sent a note to check on the status on 8/1 and the email said it was shipped with a *** tracking. The *** tracking on 8/1 said "label created" I emailed Himalayan again on 8/10, 8/20 and 8/24 for some direction and if it actually was at ***. No response from email. Left 4 phone messages and always got voicemail. Tried to get someone to pickup by dialing the sales extension but no answer but they did send a text alluding to me wanting to place an order. I sent a text back that I wanted a refund and to confirm. NO RESPONSE! Their website talks about how they are a family business and how attentive they are and they guarantee satisfaction. I sent another note through their website referencing that and asked them to contact me or send me a refund. Again no response. Now I want a full refund because I don't ever want to deal with this company in any way. All they had to do was respond to my message and we could have worked something out.Customer Answer

Like many others, I placed an order at this scam of a company for ONE table lamp, salt and a few replacemet bulbs. I had no awareness of their poor reputation at the time and after not receiving tracking info I find that nearly everyone posts negative complaints about them citing they never receive their merchandise, they refused a refund, or that items arrived broken. I immediately contacted them about my order as it was supposed to be a gift item and they now tell me the same thing they tell everyone else which is that they are "Waiting on a global shipment." LOL. This is a retail store location who doesn't have ONE LAMP IN STOCK TO SEND ME AND I'M A DRIVE FROM THEIR LOCATION? I reside 20 minutes from them. They are liars. THEY MISREPRESENT THAT THEIR ITEMS ARE IN STOCK WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN STOCK AND THEY CUSTOM ORDER FROM ASIA OR WHEREVER DURING A PANSEMIC WHEN SHIPPING DELAYS ARE RAMPID. There is NO indication of their items being on backorder either. I politely and justifiably requested a refund from them. They are now ignoring my requests despite the fact I told them I'd be forced to file a report. If you look this company up on ******* BBB and ********* they have mostly all negative reviews from people with the exact same issues. I don't want the products that late, it was a gift item and the time will pass, and i certainly don't want the risk of receiving unpacked, broken items as people report. I want my refund IMMEDIATELY.
