  A few months ago, I hired Mr. ********************** to renovate my parents bathroom, which was the worst mistake I've ever made. The project took several weeks longer than estimated to complete. While portions of the delay are due to unforeseen issues requiring more work, most problems are attributed to incompetence, lack of communication, and lack of supervision. Upon completion of the project, I got the bathroom inspected by an independent company, which confirmed the poor quality. Mr. ********************** returned to repair some of the issues; however, we continued to have problems after the project was completed. A few weeks ago, the toilet began to leak sewage. I contacted the company's owner, ***************************, who immediately accused my parents, without evidence, of dislodging the toilet. You read that correctly. He also said he wouldn't be able to send someone to fix the issue on short notice. We hired an emergency plumber who confirmed the wax ring for the toilet was incorrectly installed, proving my parents weren't responsible. I provided the plumbers report to ********************, who agreed to reimburse me for the plumber's bill. My parents continued to have issues with the bathroom. I decided to employ a competent contractor to correct all the problems without subjecting my elderly parents to more disrespect and stress. I wasted thousands of dollars because I trusted Mr. Handyman of Richmond. Please learn from my mistake.

  I had an excellent experience with this business from start to finish. I had called after hours, left a voicemail and was called first thing the next day. She scheduled my service and gave me an estimate over the phone. They worked with my available time and I was able to schedule the service on my first choice! The handyman **** came exactly on time, to the minute! I was worried one person couldnt get everything done in the time I had but he got it done in one hour less! He cleaned up the mess, was kind and courteous with asking about my pet, keeping the door closed and locked after going in and out. Definitely worth it to have someone who knew exactly what he was doing! Would hire again in a heartbeat.Service done: Hang mirrors and swap fan to simple light fixture.

  The front porch door and surrounding looks excellent. **************** did an excellent job. She also reviewed the bed, which is ************, and determined she could not repair the bed. She was professional and understood our priorities. If we require Handyman for similar projects, we will require ******.

  The installer sent to remove our old shutters put up new shutters on our 2 story home did an outstanding job. Going about the job in a professional and knowledgeable manner.I was very pleased with the results. We would use them again.

  Love working with these guys. I can do all the stuff around my house myself, but sometimes the job is too big and time is too tight and I need an extra pair of hands. We've had three different guys out here and each one was outstanding. Can't say enough positive about this business and the people who work for them. Bravo!

  A great job, start to finish. Wonderful, timely, and efficient workmanship. ***** the tech did a super job fixing our bathroom sink fixture with a replacement. He knew what to do and in the most effective manner to make it work right and look even better than before. All the concierge staff do a really good job coordinating schedules - yours and theirs - to make it work out. Will use them for the next job we have.
