      Most 800 numbers do not work. Cant get my transcript. Not even through Parchment. What a waste of money and time. They ran up the financial aid to benefit themselves. I do NOT recommend this rip off to anyone. I have a 4 year and Masters Degree from Strayer but cant get a simple Official transcript or a phone call to speak to ANYONE there.

      I'm a veteran. Recently the bah requirements for online classes was rescinded. As a result of that Veterans now get well less than half of a living subsidy compared to a few months ago. Since strayer does not offer graduate classes on campus anyone who wants to continue to get the full BAH will apparently have to have strayer registrar approve the class after the person gets accepted to the one course somewhere else. Of course strayer doesn't want to approve this because they don't make as much money. There so called success coaches don't like to tell veterans that starting this summer you are getting 1/3 of what you used to. Strayer is not very up front at all.. The only way you get what you want if you want the full bah is to coddle people from strayer who are supposed to be helping you. You know that dealing with the VA is going to be even worse. Come to strayer if you want to put up with stuff like this.

      I am a top executive for a fortune 100 company, and I sent out an email saying not to hire any graduates from Strayer University, Southern New Hampshire University, and University of Phoenix. I heard they were diploma mills and decided to investigate their curriculum. Each of these universities had no issues showing me how they teach students and provided me with detailed information about their curriculum. They did this so I would invest in them and their students. Instead, I decided to run. They do not provide any quality tests throughout their curriculum. The few tests that are provided can easily be found online, so students can find all the answers. The discussion forums and assignments are so easy I believe an elementary student can pass. If you are thinking about attending any of these three universities, then you better think twice. The only advantage of enrolling is that you can complete your degree quickly and without doing a lot of homework like you would if you attended a traditional university. If you want a career, then you should look at attending another school because my company and several others I know would never hire you. Unfortunately, I had to tell many people I am looking for an employee who has a degree and a degree from Strayer University does not count.
