I installed a roof for this company to install solar. I completed the work in February of 2022, they never paid for the roof and won't return phone calls or emails. I've never experienced this type of behavior from a company as large as them.

FRAUD ALERT: After Signing the Contract and Paying $5,328.00 in Deposit, Green Brilliance Lied , Forced Me to Sign a New Contract, and Refused to Return My Deposit.

    1. March 29, 2023: I signed a contract with GB to put solar panels on my roof.
    2. April 7: I sent GB $5,328 in deposit and submitted photos of my residence. During this time, GB responded immediately to my email.
    3. April 10: Sam Albert from GB informed me that their “Technical Team” wants me to sign a new contract. Sam said that “The reason for doing all this is because it will get things easier for us in terms of application paperwork. Everything is same, please sign when you can.”
    4. April 11: I read the contract and realized that the contract was completely different, including:
    a. Lower production numbers
    b. Higher Payment
    c. New Cancellation Policy in GB’s Favor
    d. Longer Installation Time
    e. Deletion of the Warranty Clause that was Previous Negotiated.
    5. April 11-May 8: I tried to communicate with GB and asked them to change back the terms. Sam called me INCESSANTLY and lied about making changes when in fact, the changes were not made. He kept on trying to get me to sign the new contract, asking me to “trust him.” Finally, after a month of back and forth with no avail, I asked for a refund on May 8. This is when Sam Albert started to ignore my emails.
    6. May 15: Finally, Sam gets back to and told me that they will return my money and that “the process will take 5-7 business days.”
    7. May 24: I did not see my money after 7 business days, so I followed up with Sam. Sam told me that I will receive “my full money on 6/15” because GB “remit all of [their] expenses in the mid of every month” and asked me to “just wait for few more days.”
    8. June 15: Since then, I continued to email, scheduled meetings, and call Sam Albert. I never heard back from he or anyone else in GB.

As of Jun 29, 2023, I have not heard back from GB or received my deposit back.

Can’t get them to return calls. Been waiting for 6 months to get panels connected to the grid and no word from them how long it will take.

GreenBrilliance FRAUDULENTLY ACTIVATED MY LOAN. Their excuse was that my six month rate lock (already way to long to wait for install) was about to expire so they went ahead and marked my work complete and activated my loan. The funny thing is, after communicating with Dividend Finance, in order to mark work complete the installer must provide photos of the completed project to Dividend. GreenBrilliance had never set foot on my property either then or now. The thing is, I was left out of the loop for all of this. I ended up be informed via an email from Dividend congratulating me on my new system. According to Dividend this is relatively common practice, albeit in most other situations the project had at least been started. In my opinion GreenBrilliance is dead to rights and they have an open investigation with the VA Attorney Generals Office as well as DPOR.

Brilliant team. The problem was the install. After the panels were installed, our fuse box melted TWICE! We had to have them reinstall it a total of three times. Worst part however was when (after solar installation). we started having problems with the electricity to our pool. after over 2K in expenses we found that the electric line to the pool ( right underneath the solar panel box) had been cut, and electric taped back together! We paid our electrician to fix and kindly asked Green Brilliance to just pay the final $1000 to finally fix the line (not even pay for all the previous trips our electrician made out trouble shooting). They have refused to even pay that- after all we have been through with fire potential (boxes melting-which we would not have known in time except my husband monitors the electric output) and then the actual problem of having that line cut- and no one said anything about it. I couldnt be more disappointed in a seemingly wonderful company. Unfortunately, now we are headed to court.

This has been by far our worst experience with any type of home improvement work on the house. The complete and utter lack of communication by this company, insane delays in the timeline and lack of respect for the customer has been beyond disappointing. We signed our contract with them more than 9 months ago and still do not currently have a working solar system. The agreement was to place all of the panels on the roof side with the most sun exposure, when the panels were put on the house the plans were changed, without any discussion with us, and holes were drilled for a group of solar panels to be placed on a side with less direct sun exposure. It ABSOLUTELY should have been a discussion where we were given the options of 1. Do you want to return some of the panels to save money given we are not going to be able to follow the original plan, or 2. are you ok with some panels getting less sun exposure and therefore impacting the amount of energy generated. The decision was made for us without our knowledge.
In addition to this issue, the timeline has been terrible. The solar panels were supposed to be fulling done in late August, I am wiring this in late January with no working system. We have had to follow up over and over again, we were told that we needed to contact the supplier directly for a part that was broken, and when that happened the supplier informed us that the part was with the company already. We then have had to follow up multiple times to ensure the product was in fact in their possession and schedule a time for them to come out and actually finish the system. I am hopeful that this will be done by the end of the month, but I am not holding my breath.
If you are considering working with this company, think a lot about how much work you want to do to actually have a working solar system and don't be fooled by the good communication upfront, the issues all started once the contract was signed.

Green Brilliance installed a water filtration machine in my house. Six months ago there was a malfunction which I reported to them. In my contract, I was given lifetime warranty. I contacted them and they in turn told me to file a complaint to the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent them a form to fill for them to send them for a new equipment to be brought. They have decided not to fill it. For a month plus, I’ve been trying to contact them through phone, email, text etc, to no avail. Even the decency to return my call is nonexistent.
I had to drive to their office to talk to somebody. I was told they abrogated their contract with the manufacturer last week, thus (1/14/23) No one informed me about that and offered me an alternative. I have to personally drive a 100miles to go find it for myself today(1/21/23)
No customer service etiquette. It was flippantly told to me by a technician ( Omkar). He categorically stated that his company is not going to help me because they are short staffed.
What pisses me off is that I’m still paying on the equipment I’m not using since June 2022.

Solar Edge, Raf Solar Power, Green Brilliance and Nova Source are a bunch of scammers, do not contract with them. I contracted my solar system and it worked well for 6 months and 3 months ago the inverter was damaged and no one responds, the only one that I have to answer is me with the fees that I must pay monthly, I guarantee that you will regret it if you contract your solar system with them They are a fraud, don't be scammed by them.
