I called Thriveworks several weeks ago. I got a young gentleman on the line. I will say after reading the complaints I was prepared for the worse. I told him I was upset and I wanted to speak with Heather but based on the complaints I doubt very seriously if I could. Well, let me tell you, Heather got on the line and spoke with us regarding the issue. She was personable, professional, and actually found a possible error in the filing of my husbands claims. She refunded the money immediately and is currently working on the issue of having the claims filed correctly. I learned a very valuable lesson to take what I read, store it, but make my own conclusions. Thank you Heather. You were awesome as far as David and I are concerned and can't wait to hear from you regarding the final outcome. Thank you again.

If I could give this company 0 stars I absolutely would. Three times I had been overcharged by this company. Each time the amt was higher then the last. My daughter was speaking to someone twice a week each time I was charge $29.99 then suddenly I was charged $150. I called they told me that was what the ins didn't cover. A few months after that I was charged over $300. I called the ins company and they said they had made all payments that were covered. I called thrive works and was told I missed payments in January. I then proceeded to pull up my account and proved that I had made all payments in Jan including the $150 (which they were claiming was not paid. ) At that point the representative hung up on me. I had my daughter cancel her account that day- now here we are two months later and I had to cancel my debit card since they are still taking money out of my account for a canceled service!!!!! Please do not use this company they should be sued for theft!Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

The service wasn't horrible but billing??? I canceled and payed what j needed to 5 months ago, and now???200$!!! Taken out of my account. I called and was told it was their mistake and that I would get my money back, that was the 1st SEP, it's now the 12th and STILL NO REFUND. That put me behind on my bills and it's absolutely ridiculous that I haven't gotten my money back yet.Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

My name is Elizbeth H******* I have tried to get Heather from the billing department to return my call or at least speak with me and she refuses. I received a statement on 9/6 at 12:03 p.m for $693. This was the first statement from them. The next morning 9/7 at 8 a.m my card was debited $693. I called the billing department and the rep said her manager " Heather" said there was nothing she can do as far as a refund or payment plan because I received a statement and I should of called. It was less than 24 hours of receiving this statement. I asked to speak with Heather and the rep said she told them to tell me she wasn't available but i could put in a request for a call back. I put in the request and several hours went by without a call. I called again. The next rep, very nice lady, said Heather again wasn't available. She then asked me if i had insurance. I said i do and she said i wasn't supposed to be charged what i was charged because they didn't have my insurance information in there correctly. She got my insurance information and then said she would verify it and issue my refund. I still haven't heard back. The rep who helped me the second time was the best help I have received thus far. I would like someone from Thrive works to call me regarding this issue ASAP. Being that i was expected to call immediately after receiving my bill I expect the same response time from the management who told me they refuse to help me.Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would! I began seeing a counselor, Line *******, at Thriveworks in January. Every time I went, I left feeling worse than when I arrived. I was Lines last appointment and She did nothing but yawn, look at the clock, and ask the same repetitive questions. I could tell she wasn’t listening to me. I reached out to thriveworks to see what the cancellation policy was on March 4th. They let me know that if I were to cancel within 24 hours, that I would be charged $99. I kept my appointment for that evening and cancelled my next appointment that was scheduled on March 7th instead. I had no future appointments scheduled.
On March 12th, thriveworks charged my card $39 for the months of February - March.
On March 28someone reached out for my insurance information again, even though it was provided and verified in January. I sent them a copy on my insurance card and never heard back.
On April 27th, I received the same email asking for my insurance information again. I ignored the email because at that point I was starting to get frustrated, since it should have all been taken care of back in January when I provided it. I never heard anything further.
Then on June 29th, almost 4 months after my last appointment, I was charged $99. No clue what it was for. I honestly didn’t even want to deal with it so I never said anything.
On August 9th, I received yet another email asking for my insurance information. I had had it. I mentioned the $99 I was randomly charged and that I had submitted my insurance information many times with no response and that someone needed to call me to get this taken care of. I received no response and no phone call.
FINAL STRAW - I checked my bank account this evening and they had charged me $594!!!!!!!!! No permission, no heads up, no phone call or email!! And at this point it has been 6 months since my last appointment!
Take my advice. These people are unprofessional, unlicensed, lazy & untrained frauds!!!Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

When signing up with the company I was told there would be a monthly payment of $30 and per appointment price somewhere in the $30 range as well. My therapist was great but I suddenly started seeing charges of $80+ on my bank statements. Called to request information and was told my copay had not been reached and that is the reason for the charges. Had I known I never would have continued the process. Regardless I ate the charges and told them to cancel my future appointment and my account all together. They told me they'd wave the membership fee if I stayed so I did. I noticed an email stating I have an appointment on 07/24/22 requested it be removed the day before. I woke up today to an $186.28 charge to my bank account $99 late cancelation fee and some other fee from 07/27 which I just realized is tomorrow. I contacted the company in need of help with stress and anxiety. I didn't realize they would become part of the problem.Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC

I told them my financial situation. They said it was $99 for new patients and then $39 per session. Come to find out it was for membership only. I'm still confused by it, but I talked to 4 different people and it seems like no one knows the prices of the company they work for. I paid $200 for 2 sessions and stopped. Now I'm being charged $297, for what? Are they saying it costs almost $250 for a session? This is asinine. They are literally taking advantage of people at their lowest and calling it help. Not to mention, I was told I should ask more questions next time. I did. Like I said I talked to 4 different people. They need to train their employees better and be more clear about pricing. I shouldn't have to pay this. Worst company for mental health. They are manipulative and don't actually care about helping people. Same issue as the rest of these terrible reviews. On my first call, I was made aware of the membership option. I very clearly indicated I was NOT interested in a membership and would not be scheduling another session until I met with the therapist to determine if it was a good fit, standards therapy practices. Ultimately I had an emergency come up the day before my appointment. Called at 9:15 the day before my 9am appointment, apologized profusely as I was running out the door for the emergency and explained I needed to cancel (just short of the 24 hour window) and the reason. Ultimately still got charged the cancellation fee for calling 15 mins late of the 24 hour window, ok fine they have no customer service and it sealed my decision NOT to reschedule an appointment and moved on. THEN 3 weeks later, I see a membership fee come through my account. Now this is FRAUD. I never set up an account, saw a therapist, or agreed to any terms. Thriveworks, an online Counseling service, has breached our payment plan agreement for
paying my debt of $3,174.20 every 1st of the month, which was agreed that I pay $373.47
for 9 months. The first signed agreement was made on 5/18/22 and they did not take the
agreed amount on the 1st; I had to call them. For the month of July they took out $949.37
which caused my rent check to bounce and now cause damages to my bank charge and my
home lease. In addition to this, today (7/27/22) they had withdrawn $2,800.73, putting my
checking account to zero dollars flat. We agreed to a payment plan due them withdrawing
$250 every Wednesday which was not feasible for me, hence why we had agreed to a
payment plan. They gave me no notices of doing that and when I had asked for receipts it
was an argument and still no relying reasoning was informed to me. I have both the original
and renewed agreement along with all my bank statements to show the withdraws that were
never agreed to.
