      A bunch of unethical, corporate socialists, from what I can tell.
      They force customers to give their card info and sign a lengthy contract saying they will be charged $99 if they miss, only to pull a bait-and-switch whereby they schedule an appointment in a different timezone than either they or the customer are located in.
      Nothing like earning $99 by trickery! But wait, there is more! When you contact customer service, they will bait-and-switch you some more, saying they will refund you but later telling you that they need approval. Then again, they say they will handle the situation but later tell you they need another approval. This is all before saying they will not approve a refund because they confirmed with you there was an appointment ahead, even though they never confirmed it was in a different timezone then where either of us are located. Then they will just stop responding to your emails & not pick up your phone calls - you would think for $99 you would get service.
      How do you think the therapists are if billing won't even acknowledge your issue? Well, in this case the therapist also didn't acknowledge, saying that it is "policy" like a corporate shill & policy troll. It is clear that this therapist only cares about the money. She, as well as the whole billing department are gutless, not willing to have a hard conversation or standby what they say... Sounds like the kind of therapy anybody who is a snowflake needs but that is not me.
      In the end, our initial invite indicated EST time & we didn't notice it. The problem is that, we missed it because we had no reason to assume our appointment would be in Eastern time and Thriveworks did nothing to reinforce that. I would say that the issue with missing our appointment was no more than 50% our fault. But, since they are a bunch of corporate sellouts with college degrees (but no critical thinking skills), they put the blame solely on us & weren't willing to have a serious conversation about the $99 charge.

      This company could not care-less about their customers, all they care about is collecting a payment. I was in a situation where I did not sign a document for a payment plan and instead of them sending me another one and letting me sign that, they took all the money out of my account without properly notifying me about it. Very cold hearted people, there are loan sharks that show better compassion than them.

      If I told you exactly what I thought about Thriveworks, it would not be printed. Spoke with Heather months ago and was promised we would be kept abreast as to what was happening with our insurance. Had/have heard absolutely nothing. We were also told if the money was owed we would receive in writing exactly what was owed and be offered to make payment arrangements. Again, nothing was done, except taking $40.00 out of account and then taking $480.00 out of account. What a joke this company is!!!! You have no disregard for anyone. My husband is on social security and you do this.....you ***** people without even giving lubricant. Heather, I am so disappointed in you, a leader, to blatantly lie to us. I don't see how you can look at yourself in the mirror everyday and say to yourself "I am proud of the work I did today. I am proud of the number of lies I told today". How can any of you be proud of what you do. No warning, no nothing. Shame on you all, but especially you Heather. I will never refer anyone to you and if I hear of someone using you....I will definitely tell them to stop if they have any sense. For someone in the mental health field, you all really mess with people's minds. You don't help. I agree with the one person, someone needs to file a class action lawsuit against y'all but no one has the money after paying all the overdraft fees to the bank. Thriveworks is not there to help people, they are there to scam people. I want an invoice showing all charges, dates, and payments by the insurance company, and my husband. But I don't expect to ever see it. I will pray for everyone of you. You need the prayers. You don't deserve a single star but I can't leave it blank, lucky for you, not for me.

      Malicious Backstabbing vultures!! I had not had any dealings with this company for over a year and out of the blue, I'm totally blindsided by a $230.00 bill that was a direct withdrawal out of my account and overdrew me -137.00!! I had no idea they were going to charge me anything and I called and spoke to (2) different reps they said they were not going to give the money back and offered no sympathy or remorse for their actions. I informed them I am a mental health case manager and it is an absolute mockery and insult that they claim to be a mental health company and yet they have emotionally scarred me, so bad that I would never send my worst enemy to them!! They have a total disregard for the harm they have caused me financially, and they have failed at the worst level. The Hippocratic Oath says, "DO NO HARM" and they have put me in financial hardship from their calloused and unethical practices! THEY NEED A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM!!!

      Predatory business that preys on the vulnerable. Went to several sessions believing my insurance would cover it, then without notification or warning payments of several hundred dollars were withdrawn directly from my bank account. Turns out my insurance was not covering it, something of which I was not notified, and out of pocket payments were being withdrawn directly from my bank account. Again, Thriveworks never once sent me even an email telling me that my insurance was rejected, I only found out by calling them after they charged me for nearly $400. I was never warned or notified that payments were about to be made either. Now after canceling my membership several months ago, Thriveworks still directly withdraws money from my bank account at irregular intervals and without warning. At a time in my life where I was very vulnerable and seeking assistance I instead find myself in the hole over 1000 dollars to these people.
      For a company that claims to be about helping people with their mental health, this practice is disgusting and unethical. The negative impact on my mental health from the direct theft of money from my pocket is far greater then the small benefits I received from seeing a therapist with them just a few times. Whatever you do, DO NOT give them are card on file.

      Terrible billing practices ; we attempted to work with them because we liked the therapist. Our attempts to understand and get refunded for the billing mistakes were a huge headache.

      I set my son up with Thriveworks for therapy. I chose Thriveworks because they were within network and offered the services that my son needed. After many therapy sessions were billed to my insurance and denied, Thriveworks converted my billing to self-pay, (without informing me) and withdrew $600.00 from my bank account. I was floored with their unprofessionalism. I called Thriveworks over 5 times to try to figure out WHY the billing was denied by insurance and WHY they converted me to SELF PAY without informing me. After speaking with my insurance company, it was determined that it was an error on the credentialing of THRIVEWORKS. I was told AGAIN that they would resolve the problem but again nothing was resolved. I have spent well over 5 hours on the phone with Thriveworks and nothing has been resolved. Meanwhile they have continued to bill me $39.00 a month while my son stopped going to therapy because of the problem with billing. #dontgotoTHRIVEWORKS

      I called to get information about an appointment and was told by Dora that they are in my network. I had one appointment with Cynthia ******* on 9/9/2022 at 11:00 am we spoke for a total of 5 min. 5 sec. Also we tried Zoom and that lasted another 4 min. a grand total of 9 min 5 sec. My insurance was charged $395.00 I paid $40.00 for this service. The reason for me reaching for therapy is the loss of my husband. I felt being used by Thriveworks to make money during my most venerable state of mourning. I tried to dispute the charges with billing and my situation was not resolved. I was told that my time with the therapist was more that 15 minutes so I had to pay for the whole hour for therapy that I didn't receive.
      I paid my $40.00 without any help or counselling and my insurance paid $90.00 and a plan exclusion help of $264.81. This situation increased my anxiety and my depression into a deeper depression when I needed help the most.
      I cancelled my account with Thriveworks and I had to seek help somewhere else at **** .
      I feel I was being cheated by Thriveworks, misinformed, and robbed of money that neither I or my insurance should have paid.
      I need to see if my dispute can be resolved.

      I went online to make a payment. My account was past due. I went to make a partial payment and it did not go through. Tried several.times but the website was not taking any payments. Two days later without warning Thriveworks takes out the full amount without my permission just on their own. No permission, or warning that this charge would go through. Nothing. This charge caused my rent to be insufficient. Had I known Thriveworks would withdraw money without permission I would of planned accordingly. I have been a customer for quite a while. I immediately canceled. Very unprofessional for a company that addresses mental health. Communication is definitely lacking. I gave the company two stars instead of 1 only because I liked my therapist. I have to preface by saying that many therapists leave this company and I have been switched around numerous times since all.my therapists left.
      Probably should of seen the signs right then and there and stopped my sessions.

      The thrive works billing department treated me and my representative very poorly and told her i qoute "**** poor attitude." And I as a mental health disabled person, i would want to no one to go through this. Plus they charged me 99 dollars and i canceled 3 months ago.
