Back on February 13th, 2022, I was having trouble receiving emails and favorites on ********* **** when they switched over from ***. I looked into the internet for some assistance and found Intrafixus LLC. They did fix the problem and I decided to use their service for tech support for $699.99 for three years. Well this past week on November 16th, I get a call saying that this company was going out of business and they will refund me my $699.99. They connected me to tech support to refund me my money electronically. After I gave them control of my computer, I filled out a form. When I went to the spot to put in my amount of $699.99, it showed $20,000 instead. When I looked at my balance on my checking account it did include the extra $20,000. The person than said that it came out of their account by accident, and I would have to mail in the cash to them instead. I was then directed to go to my credit union and take out $9600 on one day, and to another branch the next day to take out $9400. I was then directed to go to a *** store and ship the money each day, directing me to go to two difference *** stores. I was told to put this money in a shoebox or something similar and wrap the money in foil paper. I was giving two difference addresses in California to ship this money. All along, I assumed that this was their money. I realized on the 2nd day that the $20,000 came from my savings account, and not from Instafixus. I was able to stop the delivery of my 2nd package in time and had it returned to me. The 1st package the previous day was already picked up and my money was gone. Just to let you know we only charge any customer using legit way like credit card or check only . we dont ask cx to send money through anything else.
If the Customer is not happy with the response we are glad to issue a full refund to the customer which customer paid to us without any questions asked.

The credit card used for transaction was cancelled by our bank. Sorry, no refund can go to it. We will wait for refund check from business and its deposit, before closing this complaint. Thank you.

We reached out to Instafix today regarding our refund having not arrived as of last contact on November 21st. Instafix now says they need a credit card to reverse the charge to, and they will now not refund full amount of $600.00 but only half. They said that they will not issue a check. I explained that the credit card was cancelled and I dont want to provide another credit card. Thanks for your help.

I thought I was speaking with an ***** employee and this person at this office stated he was. He told me I needed a Cyber Privacy Shield installed on my computer. I agreed and paid $699.99.Later that day, I realized I was not speaking to a certified ***** employee or a ****** support technician and I have not received this product he sold me. As the many other complaints have been filed, I am unable to reach anyone at this number to speak to them, because they hang up. First, I am seeking complete reimbursement for the $699.99 they charged me Second, I am curious why this company still exists and is allowed to continue to scam elderly people like myself. On 2/14/22 I paid Instafixus $249 for a security protection software. I couldn't figure out how to download the software and after repeated calls could never get in touch with the company for help or a refund. I am seeking a refund bc I never was able to use the service.Business Response

8/31/2022 I went to ********* website and this popped up, thinking it was ********* I told them my problem they proceeded to tell me that I had thousands of trojens and they would fix it. I thought it was ********* but soon founnd out ddifferent. Granted I am 82 years old and alone so needed help. they proseed to tell me it was $599 and I said no so they changed to $399 that should have told me something. 12 Oct 2022 Yesterday I ******* searched what to do when cannot find ones email. Immediately Instafixus LLC said they would call with support which they did. The tech explained the situation and informed me that I’d been hacked because of lack of a good Firewall. He showed me a long list of hacks, many listed as “Critical,” and that he could help resolve the problem. I was to not touch my computer, keyboard or printer and that he’d call when done. But first, he charged my credit card 699.99 for 3 years of Firewall protection. I was aghast, but didn’t know what else to do. I accepted the terms but grew suspicious when he transferred me to “Max” for final approval of my payment. Once done, the tech began working. My monitor was left on and I could watch him working. After almost 2 hours, he called to say he was done and that all was okay. Today, I grew suspicious again when there wasn’t an Instafixus Icon on my desktop, alerts or comments while working on the computer. After reading Better Business Bureau complaints “Instafixus LLC Billing Collection Issues,” I realized I was scammed and will notify my bank and other financial institutions of this situation. I am surprised Instafixus LLC is still in business due to their fraudulent service.
