OVER PROMISE UNDER DELIVER, OR IN THIS CASE NOT DELIVER. I have contacted USA TODAY 6 times. I ordered a subsription for an inmate. Whatever carrier they use apparently would just throw the paper to the door with not name, like a home delivery. 6 times I was promiese they would correct the issue. PROMISED. I am currently on the phone again to cancel the subscription.
      Not even worth a star

There is a reason that people, including me, have not renewed their Stevens Point Journal subscription... it's a terrible daily paper without local news, and expensive. I did renew in 2020 when I called to cancel and got the annual subscription rate of over $400 a year for less than $200 a year. Did not renew in August 2021 after subscribing to the Stevens Point Journal for 30+ years. It's a year later and I'm still getting renewal notices in the mail and annoying phone calls 4-5 times a week, sometimes twice day, and at at 9pm! When I do occasionally answer the phone (although caller ID indicates the call is from, "St Point Journal"), I tell the caller to stop calling and harassing me and take me off the call list. That has not worked.
So actually, what does the BBB do about these complaints anyway?
I had to leave 1-star rating to get my complaint published, but would prefer to leave 0-star rating.

I have had a subscription to the Beacon journal for 50 years, it has gone downhill so horribly that I am ready to stop my subscription completely. You really get a paper and when you do the delivery is either a hide and seek or it’s thrown in the water. Trying to contact the beacon journal to get help is ridiculous, you only get a foreign person from another country. Right now I’m waiting for a callback from a manager in the United States, we’ll see how that works. The contents of the paper has also gone down, news is three days old and there’s barely anything in it anyways . Beware before you pay the high price they are now asking before getting this paper. I’ll add to this after I speak to the manager to see if anything has changed on my opinion

The worst. Does not report local news. Just reuses news stories in the Herald Times Reporter from surrounding area. It no not worth the price.

Hello my name is Alexander M******* on July 22nd I tried to cancel my online subscription through your website and your website is programmed to not let anyone cancel their online subscriptions, instead customers are directed to call a toll free number, I did that and the person assured me my account was canceled and that I would not be billed again. This was a lie, I was billed today another $9.99. Are you aware of these dishonest business practices where you have a website that won't allow customers to cancel and you force customers to a call center in Mexico or some other place that's not even in the United States where they lie to your customers?

Arizona Republic newspaper is nothing but a sham Have multiple delivery issues and billing complaints they increase prices every month take money from account and do not deliver newspaper. They say cost is going up due to their premium editions that are nothing but junk anyways. Forget calling customer service there is none. Have been a longtime customer and this I have got to say is the worst it has ever been. Something needs to be done about their shady business practices.

I have a digital subscription to the daily paper. Frequently, I have been unable to access the current issue or cannot read it in a consistent format. I decided to cancel the subscription. I attempted to do it online, but they would not accept my confirmed password. Phoned the paper many times and could not access a live person. I left voice messages, but calls were never returned. Finally, I got a live person who spoke heavily accented English and informed I could not cancel or get a refund until the renewal date in April,2023. Pressured to continue the subscription. Refused to let me speak with a supervisor, and disconnected me. I waited a few minutes, called again and got a different person, also speaking heavily accented English, who also pressured me to keep the subscription. I had to lie and say I was leaving the area in order to cancel. I suspect so-called **************** is not American based, and certainly not at this newspaper. This incident took place on 7/18/22. I will believe the subscription was cancelled when I see the refund on my statement! If I could give them a rating of 0 stars, I would. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had! Truly a shame as this daily paper serves 3 communities.

Im 76 and a long term Projo subscriber and reader. Ive requested a newspaper delivery holder be installed at my property for the past 6 months-through online Chat, email, and by telephone. Every rainy or snowy day the paper gets soaked. So far no results. I wonder what it takes to get this resolved??

Since Gannett purchased worcester telegram the delivery and customer support horrible. One week i did not get a paper for three days then they gave me the missing papers all on the same day. And if you have an issue you can not reach a person until you decide to cancel then a real person answers and tries to get you not to cancel. I was told I would get the refund of my subscription but she could not give me a confirmation number and as of today I have not received my refund.
