Courteous and prompt in picking up and delivering my car. Transmission went out on the car I tow behind my RV while on vacation, and the time frame I gave to Safemile was very short but they met my timeline and kept me informed on progress finding transport for my vehicle. We understand how frustrating it can be when an experience is not up to the standard that one expects, and apologize for any frustration or inconvenience caused on our end.
We're glad that the order went as planned and the carrier did a great job. However, we apologize for any feelings of bait and switch and would like to address the discrepancy in pricing. It is important to us that customers have an understanding of our pricing policies before placing an order so our team can transparently provide a solution within budget. It is also part of our policy for our representatives to remain accessible throughout the transport process, which we take very seriously. We will follow up with John regarding this issue directly but thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Warning, worst experience possible!
* Day of pickup, asked more money then the contracted amount (which was the amount quoted by most of the transport companies I contacted)
* Changed the pickup day the day before scheduled pickup (later the time also on the day of the pickup)
* There is NO online vehicle tracking service (Safemile says we are updating our software and will provide updates via text message)! I had to contact them frequently to get ETA and they said car will be delivered after 4 on Friday
- The driver was in Seattle a full day early while we were still in Houston and informed the driver and Safemile I won’t be there until the following day. Driver said to call when I get to Seattle the next day while Safemile says he will drop off on agreed upon day/approximate time
- I call the driver upon reaching Seattle and he says I have to pick up the vehicle myself and they can’t drop it off until at Wednesday.
- I contacted Safemile to resolve this and there has been absolutely no response from them via multiple texts or phone calls. They basically disappeared. So absolutely NO 24/7 service as they state!
-Had no choice but to pick up our vehicle at a far away location (in an unfamiliar city/location and it took us over 5 hours round trip from the agreed upon drop off location.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We value all customer reviews and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. After reviewing the details of your order, we would like to provide some clarifications.
You engaged our services to transport your *** ******* from Sugar Land, TX to Seattle, WA. The original quoted price for this transportation was $***** The agreed-upon pickup date was scheduled for 05/02/2023, as you requested.
On 05/01/2023, we had a carrier available in your area that could pick up your vehicle one day earlier. One of our dispatchers reached out to you to inquire if you would be willing to release the vehicle one day earlier, and you confirmed that this change in schedule was acceptable. At no point did we request additional payment from you, and the total amount for your order remained $****, as initially quoted.
Regarding the delivery of your vehicle , on 05/04/2023, you contacted us with an urgent matter, informing us that you could only receive the vehicle on the 5th of May after 4 PM. We promptly communicated with the carrier assigned to your shipment and arranged for the delivery to be made as per your requested schedule.
Regarding the tracking service, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the unavailability of our online vehicle tracking service during the time of your shipment. We were in the process of updating our software and opted to provide updates to our customers via text message instead. We understand that this may not have been ideal for you, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this temporary change in service.
In regards to your claim that the driver informed you to pick up the vehicle yourself, this seems to be a miscommunication. Our records indicate that the driver suggested meeting at a safe location approximately 1 mile away from your address, due to the large size of their truck. We apologize if there was any confusion surrounding this matter.
We genuinely regret that you had to make a longer trip than anticipated to pick up your vehicle from a location that was unfamiliar to you. However, we want to clarify that the distance mentioned in your review was exaggerated. The agreed-upon drop-off location was not hours away, but rather just 1 mile from your original address.
We always strive to provide the best possible service, but as is the nature of the auto transport business, certain circumstances can arise that are beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience or miscommunication you experienced during your transport with us.
